Hm, it works fine for me. I just took the embed text straight from the video as youtube provides it.

Trust me, Bilbo isn't like Frodo or Sam... He's god in comparison to them, really.

Re: The Hobbit - Trailer
I might get killed for saying this, but here it is!
I find the LotR movies to be better as movies than the books are as books! There I said it! The books are longwinding and BORING. Aside from one and a half chapter in book three! Towards the end.
The Hobbit and Silmarillion are both superb on the other hand. And I will drool as I watch... and while I wait I'll cry into my pillow.

Re: The Hobbit - Trailer
I hated the books, (never tried Hobbit) due to them being far from friendly to younger readers (as I was about 12 when I tried to read them) and it just, didn't really evolve at all, it was long pages of just dullness. I couldn't do it. I think the one I came furthest with was Two Towers.
Eitherway, I'm well aware the movies lacked alot, and few parts of the movies I just didn't like. (Ghost army fucking mordor's army? niggah please better storyline).
But I've got good hopes for the Hobbit movie!

So do I, since they're going to make not one, but TWO movies, which means more detail in the script and story, and I'm aaaaaall over that shit.

We already know that.
And can't wait for the the actual movie, huge fan of LoTR!
There's only two kinds of fans. Books or movies? ANSWER ME! *strangles*
Movies ofc, though I've read Fellowship of the Ring book and I'm tempting to read Silmarillion book once.

Re: The Hobbit - Trailer
He is such a golden director and I love the fact it is now a trilogy. The Hobbit has so much in it and it is a very fast book to read because he slots so much into a couple of pages (I think the entirety of Elrond's participance is in 2 pages!). That isn't to say it is a bad read, it is genius, but so much more can be expanded upon in the films - not to mention the extra pages Tolkien had as additional notes.
The Dark Knight Rises was incredible, undeniably. It had a couple of issues, sure, but it was a movie masterpiece. I believe the Hobbit will smash it. Cinema at its best!
