Army of the North (RP War event)

Hastily, Khendran rushed down the stairs of the barracks, through the messhall and out of the barracks, pulling his hood up while letting out a quiet grunt as the cold winds of Alterac hit him, causing him to shiver. He glanced up, at the cloudy, dark sky, then around him, at the city that lied in ruins, shaking his head slightly. He continued down the road, finding sir Drarian Northkeep outside the Town Hall armed and ready, standing there and watching over their horses with his usual calm, determined expression drawn to his face. Khendran gave him a quick nod as a greeting, and quickly both of them mounted their steeds.

”Light-willing, it won't get worse than this, or that we won't run into anything.” Khendran spoke with a low voice, with a slightly nervous undertone to it.

"Well, something of a small brawl wouldn't hurt now would it?" Drarian smiles lightly, tightening his hold on the reins. Khendran peers at him, frowning slightly.

”At this weather and time of the day, we wouldn't be able to see anything before we've lost that brawl. So I'd rather not have one.”

"We shall hope that their rotten eyes see even worse than ours then."
Drarian straightens his back and looks at the sky for a brief moment before looking at Khendran again. Khendran simply snorts in disbelief as a response, wrapping his cloak tighter around himself, and tightening his grip of the reins with his right hand, his left resting on the hilt of the sword hanging on his belt. The two continued slowly down the road, towards Strahnbrad, eventually dissappearing from the sight of the watchmen standing guard at the walls.
