Army of the North (RP War event)

The snow crunched below the Warlords Saronite boots, leaving deep prints into the frozen soil of Alterac. He looks out silently over the ruins of the city, what is left of his face tense in thought and the scraps at the edges of the wounds flapping in the wind. He concidered the failure of the crusade and his part in it, the forsaken who burnt him, Tarren Mill, abandoning the living to find his Soulblade; maybe, he thought, all this war was simply to slate his need for vengence on the forsaken. Doubt about his motives now joins the rage that is storming inside his mind, control slipping as he begins to fixates on recient events.
"Warlord, the Gate to the Acherus is open" Spoke a voice behind him.
Lexgrad turns to see Sir Arvak. He grunts softly, trying to return control to his mind.
"Then we shall withdraw to the Acherus Sir Knight"
"Yes Warlord, what of the war?"
The warlord walks into the portal, leaving the frozen ruined city with these words.
"It shall go on"
The Event!
In the aftermath of the Hillsbrad W PvP RP event, the Ebon Shroud spent a week in Hillsbrad RPing. Mostly this was so Lex could honestly say he is better than the living as he didnt give up and because war is good. The RP took us into the Alterac mountain and the city itself, we used a small tower as a stronghold. After talking with a few others forsaken and alliance side of things the plan is to try to take the city with RP. Ultimately the IC aim is as a stepping stone on the way to retake Lordaeron (ooc we all accept that will not happen). There will be tough RP challanges in this and sucess is not a given by any means, ultimately that is up to those who take part to secure.
The March!
It starts next Friday in Westbrook, the army will be marching from Westbrook Garrison to Alterac, stopping at Ironforge and Stromgarde on the way (Please get in touch with me KoS and the Dwarf Guilds). If chars wish to join in with us for RP or to enlist then you are most welcome!
What Do We Want!
Firstly people of the north! Altericans have alot to gane from this as the city will be restored to its people after the war. Lordaeronic people are also very welcome as this is largely an army made of those of the lost city. Stormwinders are welcome too and I hope to see a good corp of folk Joining from random guilds.
As we will be taking a city, Engineers and sappers will be vital! The Shroud can offer there experts but more are needed! If you RP as a craftsman you will be highly valued. We also have a slight need for medics.
Which Patriots and Heroes Have Enlisted So Far
The Legacy of Dawn: Nobles and Knights of Lordaeron shall be leading the charge with there heavy cavalry. - Led by Baron Khendran Ironhand.
The Lordaeron Alliance: Patriots, strong in faith and in arms! - Led by Highlord Gabriel Lightsoul.
The Circle of the Ebon Shroud: Ebon Knights, trying to shine through their own darkness. - Led by their Court.
The Dreadhowl Pack: Ready to fight with tooth and nail for Gilneas - Led by Niara Flamewind.

Well Amirah is the last of an (obviously landless now) Alteracian noble house, so I'm curious about this endeavour for sure. I'm not sure about Arathor as a guild, but I can try to nudge 'em and ask.

Should I shout at KoS for you? I like a good tussle. I'm sure they like a good tussle too. Although their 'tussling' is generally with each other. One day, they'll stop messing with each other and get their arses in gear.

I was totally pointing out that they spend all their time swapping partners, but they also have a tendency to receive massive injuries from your Forsaken. One day, they won't come back bleeding muttering about the Dreadpoo or whatever they call you.
