Haha nice to see someone else chose a Wood Elf archer. I couldn't resist the +20 archery bonus. I want a spellsword or mage character and a warrior character but want to progress my 'main' a bit first as I've done the opening 2-3 hours 5 times already! ¬_¬

I have a great Nord archer, don't need no archery bonus :3 rather have frost dragons be useless at freezing me
Also have a Breton Mage who, whilst on College business, was attacked by a vampire and caught the disease. She has also never done anything dovakiin related.

I haven't encountered any dragons yet. Are the fire/frost resistances needed to fight them?

Nope not not at all
Tbh I find dragons easier to fight than bears ... bears are easy to kill but they can like kill you in two hits

Dragons aren't hard, but they're fun.
Coming across a Blood Dragon and a Frost Dragon at the same time tho, that was hard.

Playing on master. I put it on expert when it gets too hard. And blood dragons just own me.
Even normal dargons are very dangerous without resistances o_o

On Adept the only thing challanging I've met is the named fucking Dragon Priests when they have dragons to help them.
Otherwise Ice Trolls are sorta annoying but you can easily kite them.
Also, as a Mage EVERYTHING is just FUCKING retardedly EASY. Impact -> Stagger everthing with Dualcasts. Dual Heal yourself to max in one spell, repeat. Screw Warding it's not needed. Maybe have some summons up for meatshields.

Go fight an Ancient Dragon, then we'll talk :3
Also started playing as a heavy armored two-hander nord.
It became to easy, so now he's a light-armor one-hander/bow sneaky type.
The kind that will sit one hour in the same spot untill the DB-quest target is finaly in a good spot to kill.

I ran into an Elder Dragon and a Blood Dragon at the same time. Died once because I didn't know that Elder Dragons could eat you. After my respawn I came back and killed them both without much trouble... Can't see a solo Ancient being much harder.Kristeas Sunbinder wrote:Go fight an Ancient Dragon, then we'll talk :3

Good enough weakness to magic + shock poisons and a fortify destruction potion = 2500 damage dual cast thunderbolts.

Archery is so fun :3
Also, most of the fun in this game is exploring. It's not a game about characters, it's about the world, finding dungeons, stumbling across a quaint little tavern and helping the innkeep find his watch.

I know this. The problem is that yes, it is fun to stumble across. But seriously, I fucking don't care. After 35 hours of "You gotta help us!" All I can feel is "damn, the people here SUCK!" "Oh, and witches/haunted cabins that are actually really haunted are so common that it's a wonder people are actually scared of them"

I love it actually.
And isn't that the same in EVERY RPG?
I mean in WoW, there's so many disasters it's a wonder people aren't like;
"Oh, look, a dragon, whatevah."
If it weren't so, there would be as much for the player to do.

I was still screaming and running away in a panic when I saw the sky turn red while RPing in Stromgarde. After the 20th time. That dick liked to gank us up there.

When I got it on my warrior, I was like FU TARD. I watched for a few seconds as my warrior slowly burned to death, suddenly realising at the last second that I was somehow only slowly dying, as opposed to my mage who died instantly. My rogue was unfortunate. I went afk for TWO WHOLE MINUTES in Ramkahen and returned to find her smouldering on the ground.

Re: Skyrim - Xbox,Ps3,PC!!!!!!
Shh spoilers! I'm only level 6. How should I build my sneaky thief/archer type character? Should I work on maxing Archery first. I also want Alchemy, speech, sneaking and one hand having points in them, is this possible?
Edit: Also two other questions, I see enchanted weapons having nice effects. Is it worth buying these early on or trying to enchant my own? Also, how do you equip followers with armor/weapons? I haven't a clue what kind of characters they are it's so confusing. I traded someone who looked like a warrior some nice armor and weapons but she won't equip them all.
Do poisons work to replace enchantments?

Re: Skyrim - Xbox,Ps3,PC!!!!!!
Don't focus on one particular talent, it'll get you killed faster than anything. Level your main skills evenly. And yes, you can have points in several perks. As for the enchants, nah. They only last for a certain period of time, or was it a certain amount of strikes. Either way, not worth the money.
You can equip followers/companions with armour and weapons by simply giving the desired armour/weapon to them. If they don't wear them it means they're not versed in heavy armour or whatever the item is that you're trying to hand over.
Poisons disappear after one strike. I don't really recommend them on easy foes.

Re: Skyrim - Xbox,Ps3,PC!!!!!!
Thanks for the advice Mr.Jack. I'll spread my points across a few more categories now, I've been pumping points into Archery until now. I'll start and pump sneaking and speech.
Sorry to keep asking but I just happened upon the Companions guild. Is it possible to join all the guilds on one character? Such as the Dark Brotherhood. the Thieves Guild, the Stormcloaks and the Companions?

This one has it all wrong.... Enchants are great and can easily be recharged with soulstones which are goddamn everywhere.
I would say they are worthwile, specially the ones that let you carry more stuff.
I had a pair of boots i only wore when i needed to carry shit around.
