Re: Skyrim - Xbox,Ps3,PC!!!!!!
I've gotten myself in a weird situation.
This is what happened: So I entered a dungeon, and since I am the 'better safe than sorry' type, I tend to save before every tough encounter in a dungeon. But last time when I did this, I saved just before a -very- tough Draugr hit me with his axe, oneshotting me. But as I had saved just before that, everytime I load that game he kills me instantly without me being able to do anything about it, I'm not even able to open the console commands in time.
To make things worse, I accidently overwrote the autosave with another character.
So, does anyone know a solution for this?

as soon as you load the save, drink a potion and runnnn or use the ethereal shout if you have it
or just go to an earlier save :s

The same happened to me when I quicksaved just before a draugr hit me with a one shot Fus Ro Dah. 8( Luckily I had an autosave at the start of the dungeon I could go back to. Shame I can't help you tho

Just finished the Dark Brotherhood questline on my Nord vampire assassin type (25% sneak bonus is awesum) and gotta say, Cicero was worth sparing. He's now my trust follower as I go around creating death across Skyrim on Shadowmere's back!

Re: Skyrim - Xbox,Ps3,PC!!!!!!
I got this for christmas. Love the game, it's amazing but I keep deleting my character after a few hours of play as I'm not happy with it and remaking it. I had a nice Orc dual wielder but every npc would laugh at him and say he looks ill and it was pissing me off eventually. Companions are annoying as hell. I keep loosing mine all the time. I want a character that is good with magic but isn't confined to it.. spellsword maybe? I dislike how little information beforehand you get when creating your character. I'm having to use wiki's to see what traits each race has and the perk/talent trees. I also chose to get it on xbox as it looks a thousand times better running at 1080p on my tv with the performance at that level too that it would be on my pc. Plus I heard many complaints about the pc version. Although there is modding for pc I'm not fussed about that, there's already enough content in the game to last me a lifetime.

When NPCs say that you look ill it is generally because you have an illness that needs to be cured.

How do you check if you have an illness? I thought it was because I chose the pale complexion or something. The inventory system is horrible on a side note. I've seen way better from older rpg's but it's a small complaint for what is a great game.

Go to your spells/power inventory (or how you want to call it) I think it''s under active effects or something like that.

The whole menu system is pure shit. There are some decent menu mods out there.
Tbh, there are so many glitches and bad things in the game that I'm amazed it didn't get more drawn off for a game that only drives you based on personal curiosity. (Yet to meet a single person who's gotten good emotional bonds with things in the game more than "cool/etc")

Re: Skyrim - Xbox,Ps3,PC!!!!!!
I bought it on the pc in a recent steam sale. Menu is indeed so shit :/ It works a lot better on sexbox. Graphical it's so pretty though! I've spent countless hours just running through the snow in my steel nord outfit!
On the matter of emotional bond. It's hard to feel connected to a main character who doesn't talk. For me the charm in Skyrim is that you can be -anything- you want. You're not confined by the game to walk within a certain story. Heck I've played a character who can't even do dragon shouts. There's also so many little random quests that add to the charm. Discovering a village that has a random quest to go to the dungeon. Discover a small story there. Always brings a smile to my face!

What kind of characters do you all play? I'm currently playing through as a thief/archer type character, Wood Elf.

Got Skyrim for christmas, but haven't tried it yet due to being stuck with my ancient laptop for now. Considering putting it off until I find a mod to fix the ridiculously PC-unfriendly UI anyway. Anyone got suggestions?
