Re: Skyrim - Xbox,Ps3,PC!!!!!!
Depending on if I get a job or not quickly I might buy it next year. Otherwise I'll be satisfied with the play I get now.

Deathlords.. Death overlords.. I don't know if they're the same or different.. But really, I've never had problems with draugr. Yeah that some can disarm you, that's annoying. Thus far though everyone falls before a bit of clever running, shooting arrows, shouting them back.

A standard draugr has 50 hp. A Draugr Overlord bout 1000 with Disarm and/or Unrelenting Shout. Now pair that with some other melee draugr, a bow draugr and one thst ummons atronach's and that's pain.
Ofc I don't use followers.

I got attacked by a group of Hired Thugs for apparently stealing something from "Moira". I don't recall stealing anything from her. Or even who she is. And this was just outside of Riverun. So really early in the game. They were hard as hell, and eventually I had to change setting to lower to defeat them.
One did have a very nice sword. But other than that, so far very little has been terribly horrible hard (even on Expert)... so far anyway. Might ramp it up to Master. Or whatever it is. then again, I want to enjoy, not slog my way through.

Well, see, thus far I've managed to pick off the lesser Draugr without being discovered by the others before I engage the Overlord. That's the beauty of sneaking
Those disarming shouts are so. fucking. annoying. I nearly lost my bow because of one.

Dragon Priests also suck, because of spellcasters in general I'm going to spec into alteration for up to 30% spell resistance extra (+ the guardian stone) and 30% magicka absorption.
That and enchanting are the future plans for now, then heavy armor and two-handed, after that 2 points in restoration and then I'll see what I have left/sneak and one handed.

Played on master for a while too but since it only bumps up the stats of the enemies and their damage it tends to make the game just more tedious grind imo. Also a easy mistake to do is level alot of non-combat kills (like I did with smithing) and suddenly face Draug Scourges all the time while only packing 30 one-handed skill and a petty axe.

I played kite with them for about fifteen minutes while taking potshots with my bow <.> Guessing that specific trigger might be bug, but then again, I don't really recall where I steal form half the time.grufftoof wrote:I got attacked by a group of Hired Thugs for apparently stealing something from "Moira". Finally done with the Thief Guild (Yay Master Armor) and pimping out my house in Riften, and kind of made it my priority now to unlock more shouts, as I'm kind of overflowing on the Dragon Soul departement. Appearance of Elder Dragons has made that a little troublesome. Keep an eye out for high Fire resistance rings/necks, you'll need them.
Not so happy that the Companion questline broke for me, something with a misc objective that I unknowingly picked up and prevented me from taking the next part. Hope we'll see another patch soon.

You need to press the buttons to turn the rings, then get the beams under or over the circles on the wall, once they are you switch from hot to cold and all that and the beam hits circe=Win!Muzjhath wrote:I am so fucking annoyed at that fucking cyrstal I need to focus. NOTHING fucking happens.

Only one of the beams hit the wall where the circles are. And that one sits so the circle it's level with goes past it.

You need the beam to be above or below the circles, then make it move so it goes over them, takes some time to set up properly but worked for me.

Well, my problem is that while the circles are easy to move. No matter how much ice or fire I've pointed at the crystal I've never seen them move once.

- Spoiler:
- I got the same. Later on, I sold a goat to a giant while drunk. I had to retrieve the goat. It was called Moira. I laughed. I laughed through the whole drunken quest chain...

You need to stand in the correct spot before you can focus those crystals, which is where you installed that crystal thing in the first place. So you have to run from that spot, to the controls, and back quite a bit
Took a while for me to find out.
e: Also, the dungeons in that College questline were far too big to my tastes.

Re: Skyrim - Xbox,Ps3,PC!!!!!!
I'm really confussled at the difficulty. I usually play on expert.
Dragons are insanely easy, it's not even funny. I don't even have to try to kill them. But then I meet this random bandit marauder in a cave who can execute me at 75% health by making a special move on me. It's really confusing.
It's fun that some enemies are very hard to kill (giants, etc..) but why the hell is every dragon I meet a pushover, even on expert. It's a bit sad because I really like this game ;_; but not being afraid of dragons kind of defeats the purpose of them being there. I'm more afraid of a saber cat atm.

Dragons are really easy for me too, just hack 'em down once they land, they usually don't get the chance to fly back up even once. Giants are also piss easy with sword and board, just block their attacks and chop chop chop.
Casters are what kill me usually as a pure warrior character :/
