I WAS ACTUALLY COMPLIMENTED ON LEAGUE OF LEGENDS SOLO RANKED QUEUE. \o/
"You rox Janna."
I will never forget that phrase. I am now the best support ever. My laning partner was called 'Doom'. It was AWESOME. We even won.

Those sons of bitches were in the first game when you're driving around planetside. Is it a thresher that you kill in the 2nd one on Grunts mission?

That's Tuchanka. If you recall Grunt's rite back in ME2, you used the giant pillar shown in the vid to summon the trials to you (the last 'wave' actually was a Tresher Maw).
Extra bit of Trivia regarding the Maw in question;
Extra bit of Trivia regarding the Maw in question;
Cerberus News 11/12/2010 - Photo Revives Debate Over Tuchanka's "Colossal Thresher Maw"
“A photo taken by Clan Ravanor miners during a drilling operation on the krogan homeworld of Tuchanka is reigniting debate on the existence of a colossal thresher maw. The photo, now being viewed widely on the extranet, adds to a long line of evidence that skeptics call an old and treasured hoax -- and believers call irrefutable proof. For centuries, krogan settlements bordering Tuchanka's deserts have told stories of entire clans swallowed by this colossal thresher maw. While locals claim the ancient creature is real, no outside sources have confirmed the beast's existence.”

I LOVE the council. I just want to punch them all in the face, except the Salarian. XD The Turian's a dick, the Asari agree's with everything he says (They're clearly have Asari mind-sex) but the Salarian just stands around looking stupid and talking incredibly fast. XD

Updated my forum avatar in honor of my third ever playtrough of Earthbound (Or Mother 2 if you're Japanese)
Magnificent. This is one of the few singleplayer games I've played trough more than once, and every time I did so I've come to love it more. Almost like a good book!

Re: The "other game thread"
Thelos' rant about how great Earthbound is #241: Combat
I tend to remember Earthbound as a JRPG with fantastic atmosphere and as being genuinely funny as well as touching, but with so-so gameplay. Boy, after having played some JRPGS between my last playtrough and my current one, I can tell you I was wrong. There's been so many clumsy attempts at adding tempo and a sense of urgency to turn based combat, but it seems only Earthbound got it right with it's"Rolling health meter". You see in Earthbound health isn't just immediatly added or withdrawn from your health meter, but it slowly ticks away or adds up. This means if you're dealt a "mortal blow" you have some time to scroll trough the menu's as fast as possible to heal up to send the meter ticking in the other direction. If your heal heals more than your maximum health, you're also rushing trough your attacks to see if you can soak up some extra damage with the surplus health before your meter hits the maximum. Later on in the game, when the health pools are ridiculously large, they're all constantly rolling up or down. Combined with the simple animations and fast scrolling text, it really adds a sense of tempo to the combat.

So, Batman Arkham City is on today's steam sale and want to know what the general opinion here is of the game for those who have it before deciding to make a purchase or not.
Opinions?

Probably a bit late, but Arkham City was my GOTY, despite "only" having played it for 15 hours so far. Quality over quantity, and AC is brilliant from start to end.

I'll remain sceptical untill I see gameplay screenshots.
Before that it might still be a third person fps remake!

Re: The "other game thread"
Anyone else signed up for the Tera online beta? Shit looks amazing from everything I've seen so far, just hope it handles well and is responsive for it to be one of the MMORPGs yet :_) (no, after jumping on almost every big MMO released since WoW and getting bored with the genre in general, no lesson has been learned)

Well, I'm already completely and utterly sick of the bullshit that is Origin.
Also, getting BF3 to run is harder than it should be.
