Got them on xbox, so my ME3 will most likely be xbox. So I resisted the urge to get them on PC too.

@Zelda:
Unlike most games in the franchise, the dungeons get exponentionally better. As in, every new dungeon is better than the last. I was afraid that 30 hours in I would be forced to derail into meaningless filler fetch quests a la Windwaker but I am very thrilled to find out that this isn't the case, and that there are new areas to explore troughout the entire game. I'm not going to spoil anything as I would never forgive it if someone were to spoil me, but damn some of these locations are fun and imaginative.

Re: The "other game thread"
I promise this will be my last time brining up Skyward Sword, but I just finished the game and I feel the need to write a short review. There'll be minor spoilers in here, so do not read this if you're still playing trough the game.
- Spoiler:
I do not really feel like I should get into the good, because I've already been spazzing so much about it. The controls are mostly great and add another layer of strategy to the game, the enviroments are gorgeous, the characters are colorful and the dungenons are excellent and keep getting better. Really I feel this game's greatest strength is in the dungeons and the puzzles. This is where the love is really showing. The town is also the liveliest we've seen since Majora's Mask with plenty of fun characters with their own little cute struggles you can help overcome.
That said, the motion controls are not exactly perfect. One of the major problems I had was thrusting and how it was nearly impossible for me to thrust my sword forward without executing a spinattack. That got really frustrating at times as I literally had to let go of the Nunchuck lest I spin around like a lunatic. I've heard other reviewers rave about how bad the controls are but this was the only real problem I had with them. Not sure what those angry people are on about.
While the characters are indeed colorful and the dialogue is shot more cinematically, I feel for the first time that this game would have benefited from voice acting. When the facial animations are actually meaningful and the dialogue is shot with more feeling and movement, it feels awkward to hear the same old grunt and moans that have become a staple of the franchise. Especially the "singing" was horribly awkward. With a half-orchestrated track you think it wouldn't be that much of an effort to record actual singing instead of this extremely awkward shrieking noises with lips flapping. I also found it very awkward to be offered an additional difficulty level after I just finished a 50 long hours game. Couldn't you have given me that option at the very start, Nintendo?
There was also too much backtracking to the point some fetch quests came dangerously close to feeling like filler and padding. While the enivorments are very rich and full, you revisist them a little too often for my tastes. I would have prefered them to be just a little emptier so we could have an additional land or two. You are asked to do chores for the same dragon thrice, including having to revisist the first dungeon for little more than a silly fetch quest that had no business being there. Too much padding here.
Storywise...I dont know. (Warning: this is where we get spoler heavy) While the characters were really colorful and great, in particular Groose the school bully, I feel what this game lacked the most was a sense of dread and urgency. Ghirahim is a cool villain with an interesting personality but I never got the impression of danger from him. You beat him up countless of times and he sends a few monsters at you, and you are not even given a statisfying death. He just sorts of becomes the Bíg Bad's sword and dissapears with him. While the final fight with Demise was very cool and visually appealing, it simply didn't feel very personal as this was just a nondescript bad guy. Unlike Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess and especially Majora's Mask you never actually feel chased by the urgency of it all while you leisurely lounge around Skyloft and occasionally jump down to mess around on the surface. The villains feel nondescript, distant, and nonpersonal. The NPC you spend the most time with though, Fi, is even moreso. While she lacks the annoying nagging voice of Navi, she pops up way more often than her, and unlike Midna who at least had a fun and quirky personality, Fi is quite literally stilted and emotionless. I never once felt an attachment to her, which is a shame, because I felt that with Midna they finally gave us a companion that was worth caring about. Fi is just...There, like the Master Sword she personifies.
Dont get me wong, I'm still in love with this game but it is not above critisism. Here's hoping Nintendo takes the steps made with Skyward Sword, on the graphical level and controls, and take them to the next step by introducing voice acting and other modern videogame innovations, thus working on making the plot more involving.

Re: The "other game thread"
Holy Scuzzbucket, "Hero Mode", as in the additional difficulty you unlock after completing the game for the first time (Skyward Sword) does not play games. Enemies take twice as much hits, do twice as much damage, and there are no fucking hearts. I nearly got my ass handed to me by god damn bats. This is getting me excited for another playtrough. I'm liking the abuse.

Re: The "other game thread"
Just finnished the final boss of Skyward Sword. And ouch he hurt.
Still, damn the game is good. Need time to go on heromode and do a complete save while in that, but will wait a bit.
Story and gameplay wise it was fantastic, and I can say without a shadow of doubt that I find it to be a far better game than Skyrim. (The two games I've played a lot of this month).
Skyrim, while good, never really got me driven. Or angry, or really raised any true emotions rather than curiosity. "What's over that hill?" "what happens if I do this?" "How will the mainquest turn out?"
While a lot of the time in the first parts of the game (Zelda) I was very frustraded and angry at some characters in Zelda for just being in my way. Later I felt I really had a true need and will do keep doing what I was supposed to. While in Skyrim I never really felt any want or need to actually do the main quest a side from that curiosity of how it ends. The main villain was also far more unsettling than a silly dragon.
The game just has so much more heart, which in turn makes it a much (imo) greater experience.
Still, I am happy I can play Skyrim on my computer. Having to run around that huge world with an analoge stick would be a bloody pain!

I find it easy to walk around in analogue, holding down "w" sounds like a pain. Also don't side with people who say shooters are easier on PC - I'm FAR better at console FPS than PC.
But I never really got into Zelda games, they just have that... Nintendo feel that grates after a while. And I like to do my own thing in games, which is why Skyrim wins for me. Never yet felt a moment of "why can't I do this?!" that even fallout gave me.

Decided to take Skyward sword over Skyrim, on the Wii. It is absolutely amazing, alot of fun. (I only just killed the first boss though, due to WoW). Zelda = legendary!

It also has the option to turn off
Tho I played console games for like, 6 years before I even touched a PC game, and only played RTS's for like, 2 years then. So my gaming skills were brought up on console.

I'm usually terrible at PC games, because I have a terrible PC. The plus of console is that everyone is using the same machine, so I have an even shot at anyone. Even playing an old-ass game like WoW, I lag on larger PvP and end up dead.
