Are there any video options at all atm to put it beyond console graphics? I really wasn't impressed with the console footage I've seen so far, hoping the PC can do a lot better. :/

Can change the settings from the launcher I got it all on Very High and it looks allright to me.
Better than Oblivion for sure but it's only Gamebryo engine... bit clunky sometimes. Animations are still quite horrific sometimes.

So far biggest gripe is combat which has not really evolved at all. Also unable to block if dual wielding stuff is ehh. Sometimes the flashy finishing moves are quite odd too (Especially when I was playing with a mace+shield and my guy stabbed someone trough the throat with a mace)

Still had fun chopping of some wood at the first village to make dosh and crafting my own iron weapons and armour.

The mainstory actually has me give a damn. Which is surprising for a Bethesda game considering I'm not even sure I remember how Oblivion or Fallout went storywise. xD

The things I like is that conversations have improved a lot. Faces are better animated and the VA is better. It isn't Bioware stuff but it's pretty impressive compared to how Oblivion would treat you on a guy walking into a door while looking at you telling you how he saw a mudcrab the other day.

What difficulty are you guys playing on? I'm on expert and I found that if I don't pay attention, I easily get swarmed and instagibbed. There's some mobs that easily oneshot me too. Like giants. Fuck giants. All I want is your mammmmmoths

Playing in Expert too and found it pretty ok.
I mean the dificulty doesn't make the enemies any smarter or so, just gives them more and more HP/Magicka/Stamina etc. Tried playing on the hardest for a bit (As I did in FO3/NV) but it was more of a grindy pain than challenge.

I really like the character models and somehow the atmosphere of Skyrim more. Also really like that the elves have returned to looking more alien and not just Human with skin colour X.

Not being able to block with dualwield sucks though so I've been playing with a Sword&Board warrior and loving it, bashing people with the shield is great fun.

Animations and UI are my biggest gripe really, though I've now gotten used to both.

Surely it can't be as annoying as changing spells and such in Oblivion.

I actually did something in the same vein as these videos, happened during a practice match against friends on Operation Firestorm. First time in a jet wasn't going so well and he kept outclassing me in every way, so an alternative strategy was in order. It turned into a dogfight game of chicken in which we were flying at each other, at the last minute I turned the plane on its side and the wing acted as a sword then cut through his flanker; disabling the vehicle.

My photos suck due to phone! But one of my friends insisted we document our travels via screenshots XD I spent ages hunting for a waterfall with a cave behind it. Because he'd always dreamed of finding one. AND I FOUND ONE. Took a picture of the waterfall and told him to find it. Rofl. x) That will keep him occupied.

Just played the intro to Skyrim. ANd it's really sad how slow the menue is, and the speaking. When on a PC. Seem so made for consoles/controllers.
