Unicorns?

Seeing as I am not involved enough in the Alliance/Stormwind Community to really know all the odds and ends about who owns what and who uses where, I will refrain from commenting on that.

However, on the point of the Blue Recluse being a "High Class establishment, I have a note to make.

My character, Shandrea, has been made the barwench of the place, and I try to make it as good as I possibly can when I'm there serving. We've kept it open for 3 days now, and when I am not able to be online on Shan due to RL, or having events on other characters, I will try to arrange for someone else in the to staff the bar. If only for a couple of hours every day. I have experience from running a bar OOC, and I've also ran bars IC on various characters. I do not discriminate, and I try to serve everyone as soon as possible.

I am aware that my vision of the bar might vary from that of Vincent, but I aim to make it a viable hub for -anyone-, to add a bit of variation to the Stormwind RP. Anyone should feel welcome at the Recluse, commonfolk and nobles alike. Experienced RP'ers and new ones aswell.

As a barkeep, I think of the bar as my responsability, and thus, I try my very best to make everyone feel welcome and hope they wish to return. So far I feel it's been a good success, and we've had a lot of different people coming in.

If the ownership of the tavern is in dispute though, I hope and think we can work it out, and perhaps create a dialogue between ourselves so we can iron out those glitches. Perhaps we can take it the days that the Blades aren't and vice versa? I have school and a job, and other characters to RP aswell, so it's not possible for me to man the tavern every day. ^^

These things really shouldn't -need- a flamewar/open debate, but should be able to be resorted between the parties themselves.

The recluse should be a magicians bar, what other use could it serve? The lamb is for shady types and the pig is for commoners, that's how the bars are arranged throughout the city and treated in the game itself, why would you want to work against that??

I've already tried to resolve the matter but pretty much only got spite and words i couldnt use for anything, thus it got dragged in here.. And how blizzard arranged the bars has nothing to do with it either, we had plans for awhile to remake the smoking blade but they got foiled due to a deed seeling.. And the deed was sold by an RHSers alt so the chance they said we could have had.. I highly doubt we would have had that chance at all.
The lamb itself just doesnt fit our needs, the RHS was however "fighting" for the lamb but doesnt want it now even though they at times rp there anyway.

If you guys need a mediator to see if a compromise of some sorts can be made by someone who's has no stake in either enterprise and thus is objective, i don't mind helping out.

I think it's better to simply leave the matter be, i was simply slamming my head against a wall yesterday, just a waste of time.

I say we burn the entire building down. Burn all the taverns down!

Then maybe we can finally put this repeated silliness to rest.

Theese aren't the exact words as its been long time but:
"Kittrina says: The bar is what keep the money running into our pockets when there are no jobs. I expect all of you to work behind the bar if you'd like to get paid"
We are encouraged to work behind the bar, but many decide not to. It might be because we have no fixed prices for drinks, or they are just unsure "how".
I will myself try to push this forward now. If anyone have things they'd like to see in the bar please poke me ingame, and i will see if i can make it happen.
