I fully and whole-heartedly agree.
Without new roleplayers there'd be no roleplay.
Without new ideas and new things happening there'll be no progression.

The Blade was a bar in Dwarven District that got deleted in Cataclysm. Not the one in the Dwarven District.

Kinda proves my unsaid point on the clueless thing. And the Blades have used their bar for a long while now, and very actively and if I recall correctly it's with the consent of the community aswell.

They didn't just go LOLOURS whilst they would use it fairly little, nor did they already have a place claimed. And don't get me started on actual RS manor and RS, because that'll bring it to a whole new level of "U so mean".

TL;DR: Blade would bring more to the community then Soul and everyone who's a bit of a veteran to this server knows that.

Charging into a place and claiming it as "ours" and "only ours" without any consideration from the community or openness to compromise is lame. And the attitude!

It wasn't really put out in public of the community regardless. Something one should atleast try consider.

Precisely. At the end of the day, the success of whatever one undertakes ICly will be determined by the community's general approval. So asking would be a wise choice.

There's always compromise to be made, in the whole matter of the Blue recluse I would personally like to see it made into an upper class establishment rather then another place for all them wierd types, however perhaps a suggestion for Ledgic and co would be to speak to the blades for hire about staffing the pig (correct me if I'm wrong but it seems to me that there's rarely regular bar staff).

Compromise has to be made somehow considering Stormwind has very few bars, however alot of people should chill the fuck down.

It's less about simply acting as bar staff and more about running an establishment that could be open almost every evening. But, at the same time I didn't really expect this to escalate into what it has. It would've been nice to have a heads up about the recluse, but there isn't much that can be done about it. Unfortunately the lamb doesn't suit the needs.

You know fine well our agreement on the Lamb was joint ownership. You said on skype Vincent that RHS would not leave the Lamb and you lot where just as inactive as us in it's running.

Either way you all know fine well how much shit we had to walk through to get the Lamb. Forum posts, discussions with community, polls, speaking to the Regiment, speaking to the Council... Suprised you never took this as an example of acquiring a place many people will use.

Just come back to the Lamb if you want a tavern to run, let this new guild have it because hell.. Stormwind needs more active roleplayers these days. We're moving back to Duskwood anyway and will only use the Lamb when in Stormwind.

The Recluse IS a high class bar. Organising a whole RP thing to make it otherwise is just silly.

So to sum this thread up, people want to claim buildings as their own, something not supported by the game engine therefore technically impossible, then where was some debate, and eventually lots of lulz.

There are no "lulz" in my -.. *cough* "our" Forum.. sorry, had a little.. throatache.
