Do we know much about realms yet? I'd obviously like to follow where the majority of Defias are going, we're a good bunch :-)

Guilds that have been made with the tool-thingy in their website (which is locked now) are being placed on servers as we speak. I suppose they'll finally give out more info on the servers when that's done.

From what I know that tool thing doesn't extend to the RP or RP-PvP flagged servers.
Unless that's changed.

The pre-launch Guild Headquarters currently allows you to select between three different server types for your guild: PvE, PvP, and RP, which will determine your server placement during Phase 3: Deployment. During Deployment, we will be placing all eligible guilds that select 'RP' onto RP-PvE servers by default. If a guild wishes to exist on an RP-PvP server, they will need to create their guild manually on a new server once they reach their Capital World (Dromund Kaas or Coruscant) and create their guild.

Several of us have posted http://www.swtor-rp.com in this thread a few times now. That is the biggest hub of SWTOR RPers anywhere, and there are efforts at making "mega servers" for both US RP-PvE and EU RP-PvE there. There were attempts at making RP-PvP hubs for both locales on the main SWTOR forums, but the EU one had very little interest (about 4-5 guilds only). Since the SWTOR forums are being closed to subscribers only, those efforts are likely to move to SWTOR-RP as well... though as said, only the US RP-PvP got any real interest.

I'll be announcing here the planned 'mega servers' once server names have been announced and we've chosen on them. Those will be the servers you will want to go to if you want to find as many RPers as possible. Personally I will be going on the RP-PvE mega server due to the severe lack of interest in an EU RP-PvP server from what I've seen so far.

It's not that they're carebears I think, they announced the RP-PVP ruleset only recently. The guild import feature didn't support RP-PVP servers because they decided to add it later on, so a lot of guilds are going to be pre-loaded into RP-PVE cus of that I think.

Maybe EU are carebears Razz

but ^ didn't help at least.

Only thing I miss is the RP. Raids sucked since Algalon. ;~;

Played SWTOR to level 30 in beta and didn't see a single pop culture reference or internet meme. It was like heaven!

SWTOR-RP has named The Progenitor as the EU RP-PvE megaserver. Unless you're going to RP-PvP, I recommend you all roll on it!

There are also forums up for the megaserver. Though you might have better luck accessing them tomorow, they're currently having "a bit" problems. Or if you really want to go there tonight, well, expect loads of 502 errors, and don't say I didn't warn you!

Hmm, looks like there's some debate between The Progenitor and Trask Ulgo as the EU RP-PvE servers. Will announce here if there are any changes. Currently, Progenitor is the established server (by the original decision of alphabetical listing) while Trask has the most guilds auto-deployed to it.

No word on RP-PvP servers yet.
