Would people please stop trying to blametrip people out of playing this game at every given opportunity? It's starting to get a little obnoxious. Just let these people have their fun and be happy for them, instead of making them feel bad, even if it is half in jest.

RP-PvP on TOR isn't really that good, there's only like 2 or 3 areas where you actually even run into the enemy faction. So RP-PvE and RP-PvP servers aren't all that much different for the most part.

And I am very likely to have early access today (pre-ordered on the 22nd). Either Progenitor or Trask Ulgo will work well for EU RPers, if you don't want to wait for an RP-PvP server to go to.

Ok so let us know what you thinks best. I think we all trust your word. :-)

I never played beta! Everyone else did.


And I'm not going to make a decision on what's best at this point. Right now both are establishing themselves as their own quality servers. Personally I recommend Progenitor because of the fact it's currently being announced everywhere, whereas Trask is only having an initial 'bump' due to automatic placement. Therefore, Progenitor likely stands to gain more people in the long run. Trask is a viable choice though, with some top-rated guilds and quality RPers being deployed there.

So, like I said, I won't make a decision. You guys can choose where you want to go. Legacy of Dawn folks were deployed to Trask, but I believe they're switching to Progenitor. You'll have to confirm that with Khendran, though.


Right now, I believe I'm going to Progenitor, though that's still up in the air. I intend on rolling chars on both just in case.

Yeah I think everyone will do the same. When you google Progenitor it is everywhere! The "official" website though only has 1 guild registered "The Elders" problem is it is for over 25's so I'm screwed because I am 16 and 3285ish days old. So that's out the window.


Seriously though I'd like to know who's going Empire or Republic. As I have not spoken to Shrogan in weeks I think our empire guild things out the window so I'm looking to bump heads with someone on a Republic guild.

Give it time. Guilds will probably take a couple of days to start coming in and posting their information.

I'm 50-50 RP PvP. And the mechanics of the class seems interesting. From a RP standpoint it might be as you said, one of the least interesting.

I wish I pre ordered it now... Guess I'll have to wait and play on the launch date.

Looks wise Sith Assasin looks awesome but I think everyone and their dogs will roll one.

Well basically Bounty Hunter and Trooper play exactly the same (other classes similarily have direct equivalents), so playstyle wise it doesn't really matter which side you go on.

It might just be a marketing ploy but a sign in the Game store in my town states that the only way to be certain that you will get a game on launch date is by pre-order. Reason for this is apparently that EA is only releasing a limited supply of copies in the beginning.

I don't know of any game that has launched with a free trial. I doubt there will be one anytime soon.
