I never quite saw what people see in Stephen King's work. =\ I've read quite a few of his books and they really didn't stick out for me.

He's an allright writer but he really has a silly way of ending his books.

Dark Tower books are still one of my all time favourites.

I read the first three, ages ago, but they didn't interest me that much so I didn't push on.

Dean Koontz managed to scare me to death, sort of. I was reading Phantoms and there's a part where a moth is involved. I hate those damn bugs and it was creeping me out.

I didn't know it, but my cat had been let inside the house from the garage. So I was lying on my bed, wide-eyed, when she calmly walked in and let out a soft little "meow."

They heard me scream out in the garage, apparently. But yeah...silly kitty.
