Heavy-Military Rp Guild Idea [Alliance or Horde]

Okay, so basically this is an idea I have had in my head as long as I can remember, and basically I want to write it down at long last and see if there is any hope for it or if it's merely a dream that can never be achieved like so many things in this world! I will say however, something that anyone that knows me will already know, I am somewhat a Forsaken loyalist and therefore this concept has been made with my desired race in mind more so that any other, but as you will see if you take the time to read this it can be adapted quite easily for either faction, or race. And thank you for taking the time to read this if you do so!
Right, before i get down to the ranks and the workings of my idea, i wish to tell you the story of how it came about, if you don't wish to read it then skip ahead! Basically back at the dawning of myself on Azeroth I was part of a guild called <The Frostwolf Clan> I logged in and found in the guild chat my older brother and his friend discussing guilds, and how to improve the Frostwolf Clan. At the time you see membership to the frostwolves required you to run a dungeon ICly with the guild, followed by a campfire afterwards where you would roleplay and talk of past glories! Many people saw this as too much, however my Brother and the Guild leader at the time were stead fast that it cut the weak and assured only the best roleplayers
Right, heres the idea I'll go through each rank and their role ect, it will start out rather simplistic but hopefully you will be able to see what i was to achieve and how it has strong applications for roleplay!
Recruits -

Right, that is the very basic idea of what I had in my mind, but i also had the idea in my head for other classes/roles and how i feel they should be dealt with in game and ICly as part of the larger military idea

Okay...So this is just some of the madness out of my head and i hope and pray you can see what i'm trying to get at here, if you cant...Sorry I suppose! But thank you for reading none the less
Another point however is if you like this concept, please leave a post or try and get in touch with me in game if you would like to use it or know more, or if you have a suggestion on how to improve it or if it wouldn't work and it's a terrible idea
And finally if enough people do like this and are willing to try it i will help out, but i will state here i am in no position to be running a guild as it takes time away from my studies, my RL and my beloved Cult of Shadow, but i would of course give ideas and help from the start, give new ideas and help it be a strong guild from the get go and expanding (And of course maybe i would have an alt in there for a honorary position!
)

Recruits -

- Pretty standard as far as any guild goes, this would be your base rank. Every guild has one and we were all one at one point! They would start out as a large group, something simple like sent to the War Quarter in the Undercity, or Westbrook Garrison where they would undertake and learn the most simplistic aspects of the guild, marching, the ranks and basically assess roleplaying and teaching how the guild works ect. We all know how it works!
Soldier -

- Again, simple. The core of the guild in many respects. However each soldier will be placed in a squad, or team of three other soldiers. They will be assigned to squads low on members or used to form a whole new squad from the recruit stage. The whole squad thing will make more sense from the next rank
Sergeant-

- Right, this rank would be the head of the squad making each squad five people (luckily the exact number of people needed for a full party) and it is the job of the sergeant to make small scale events for his/her squad, patrols, small skirmishes, competitions with other squads and generally have each squad like a small family if you will and a close knit fighting force.
Captain -

- Above the Sergeant is the captain, in charge of 2-3 squads each the Captain is responsible for larger events with their squads, perhaps guild v guild, cross faction larger tournaments, securing land, hunting prisoners. ect ect the possibilities are many! Perhaps have the captain also in charge of a garrison say for example Fenris keep, and then he needs to orginise things such as IC supplies to his keep, IC weapons thus encouraging people to roleplay towns people and for it to grow and expand into communities.
Marshals -

- The top tier of the guild if you will, these chaps will work as guild leaders, recruiters, trainers, all those things that a guild needs to run OOCly as well as ICly with them also being able to orginise much larger events with several captains, and thus several squads into a larger WPvP environment ect with a clear command structure running down

Warlocks/Mages -

- The magic users of the world are very much something that i feel requires a lot of training to do, yet normally we see a level 10 blood elf insulting you then /laughing at your felguard as it's weak and he can blast it into a million pieces then blink out of the thousand man army above him (Yes...I really don't like Mage Roleplayers too much!) Now, for the magic users I think that some sort of IC training and separate ranks all together would suite them, perhaps having them travel to silvermoon to train with the blood elves, starting out as Adepts, then Mages then being integrated into the army allowing them more to build on their character as a mage and not have quite so many damn "can cast a million spells and not feel a thing" mages.
Priests -

- Again like mages i feel that priests in order to use their arts should have some basis of IC knowlege or training, i also feel it build up repuation with other guilds and makes a stronger community, so for example a priest joins us and after a week we send him off to be with the Disciples of Light for a time to better learn the ways of the light and to make him a better priest for when he rejoins the fold. Again, like the mages just an idea! ^^
Surgeons-

- Right, this is something i feel very passionatly about. I feel that no matter the race light healing should only be able to do so much, and within the guild i would encourage people to roleplay their character injuries as truely as possible, so say for example we have a PvP event with a guild and the men we sent to fight lost, several of them would have injuries, bullet holes stab wounds. And instead of having a priest come along and heal them in a second flat, i feel it much more appropriate for the military style to have surgeons cutting out bullets, sewing up wounds with plenty of pain and blood! Again, this is just another idea i've had in my head

Moving placements -

- Basically this is the idea that say every week or two a squad moves onto a new assignment, it may be a quite peaceful one such as in Tirisfal, but then they would be moved down to a rather rough one to the Gilnean front, and then the next week on a joint place at greenwood pass with the elves, allowing people to move about, experience new captains and new settings and ultimatly new plots and new ideas so that it doesn't get stale and everyone has plenty to do and new things to experience.
Starting out small -

- This is the most simple idea, instead of going "Roar we are mighty" and trying to control the whole of Lordaeron with four guys and an Alt, i dream of it starting small, perhaps in the Undercity and Tirisfal, and as the guild grows expanding out into Silverpine and the Western Plaguelands and encouraging other Roleplayers to come, start villages and towns and communities along with it, an ever growing community other than "Lets all move in one big clump from one hub to the next because thats worked before" So in the end you would have the same base in Undercity, Expanded out into more territories, frontiers, warzones ect
