He isn't allowed to talk to other people or interact, but that's more to stop him from turning completely insane. He doesn't go on to update the blog.
His art is amazing though: http://tommysilverstein.blogspot.com/

Hmm. Yes, can I say that Hitler painted too? Oh, right, maybe not. But Silverstein was a supposed prison leader of the AB. So maybe it's fitting...
Pointless hitlerisms aside, the American "justice system" is absurd and broken. That is without a doubt. Fucked and stupid. But a man who killed at least three times inside prison isn't someone that's gonna make my heart swing.
His drawings are as interesting as any, simple and plain as they are. His "plight" makes them no more so, really.

America's justice system is meh.
Then again I think any justice system that has a jury is meh. I'm disappointed Belgium still has it and it even has it for the most difficult cases that exist >.>. Even though it's a sort of 'right' of democracy, I could do without.

What would you prefer over a jury?
And America's justice system may be broken but I wouldn't take Britain's over it, certainly.

To be honest, I'm not overly sure that any justice system could be called "fixed" or "working smoothly" because the ideals revolving around crimes and punishments are so buggered. Though, I agree that I'd take America's justice system over Britains in a heartbeat.

Well there's only one option I guess. If you don't want a jury, you want a judge. Perhaps even a comitee of judges.
My reasoning behind it in short:
In Belgium the only jury-speech we have is in the court we call 'Assisenhof'. It takes care of the highest crimes like murder, manslaughter and such. These cases can be very complex. So it boggles me that some of the harder cases in the system have to be solved by a group of people that have no experience and no eduction on the matter.
I could give you my entire reasoning if you're truly interesting x) I can mostly only argue for my own country. I have little insight in other justice systems other than Belgium and France.

The problem I see with the American justice system is that it is solely focused on punishment, with no thought given to rehabilitation.
(Privately-operated for-profit prisons that do their best to lobby politicians for regulation that puts more people in jail for longer is fucked up also)

The second problem is their civil court where thieves trying to steal someone's car, get fought off since they attacked the wrong guy (A guy who I've had as a martial arts instructor for a seminar). So, they are able to sue him, atleast attempt to.
And all the other rediculus civil lawsuits you hear about (Woman who pours coke on her boyfriend, slips in it and then sues the resturant for example).
