Serving the dates out now. Everyone who didn't come (A shit load of elves, curiously) can be drafter into the third run. If I haven't gone utterly bonkers by then.

Another enjoyable market event. I think that placing the various stands all over Ratchet, and not just in front of the tavern, would reduce the chat spam by a lot and make it perfect. That was the only thing that makes it somewhat tiredsome, the flooded chatbox, which makes it hard to keep up with it all and might even force some peeps to go earlier. Having several locations around the settlement would help greatly. Keep it up!

Yes! I couldn't keep up with it all. And after I left the spam area, I was informed that my bottom was pinched quite a few times by various goblins. o_o

Aye. I think I tried to tell people to "Not stack up like Silvermoon hookers", but perhaps a more permanent installment would make for more space between people. I admit that I was mostly going bonkers over the dating service x_x

A huge thank you to every person who showed, however. I'm happy that people still seem to somewhat enjoy the event, and I reckon this makes me able to have the confidence to put up a fourth market.

The event looked really nice from the point of view of my cca. one hour long visit. That spam was really a bit messy. May I suggest to encourage people to use a bit more frequently /yell to advertise their shops. What I found to be the biggest problem was to identify who in fact was selling something and not just standing aside.

Anyway I believe that keeping the event running may really bring a headache to the organizers so you have my deep respect:-)

Perhaps a list of sellers and you can assign them various locations in the area to try and stick to.

The next Ratchet Market will in fact be a:

When? The 5th of June (Sunday)! At 20:00!

Where? Bilgewater Harbour. The market will have it's main place on the spot behind the inn. If anyone wants to act as a bar/tavern keep during the event, that'd be great!

Why? This is the fourth market I'n hosting, and I was thinking that a different location might keep the flavour for the event, so just this once (might happen again) I'm going to have it on a different location than Ratchet. This will hopefully make people less inclined to clutter up, as have been done during the Ratchet events.

The name of the gamel is essentially the same, though. Bring wares, and a willingness to buy and sell. Don't be afraid to make contact and just try to have loads of fun and loads of RP. This event is open to anyone on Horde-side, including pirates and other potentially shady and cannibalistic individuals.

An option for the sellers is to contact me on beforehand, and we can appoint you a specific location at the market. That way we'll ease up on the spam!

Popped by on a few alts while I waited for my peon event to start. Threatened a few people on one, resisted the urge to kill a very well stealthed Roque on another... And by well stealthed, I mean caught by city guards. XD I figured it was OOC. The being caught part. XD

Looked like a decent turnout, Horde are blessed with Bilgewater as it rocks for RP!

I had great fun at the Market! I am a bit unsure if I should host another in Bilgewater, or move back to Ratchet. Decisions, decisions!

I personally liked Ratchet better. It looks less run down and disgusting.

make a mid week event based on moving the trade stalls between ratchet and bilgewater.

Switch between them both! I love both areas, and would love to see them used more. Both towns can take turns!

This! I really like both. They each have their own flavour: Bilgewater is all run down and scrubby and has interesting streets and RP spots (and places to be robbed by the Sixties -eyes-). Ratchet has the desert feeling and the comfortable, spread out atmosphere. Alternating would be fun.
