[H] The Ratchet Market

Need a new weapon, or to get those crotch dents out of your armour? Perhaps a highly trained pet to fetch those scalps for you? Or why not some explosives – known to impress the ladies! Whatever you fancy, the Ratchet market is the place to be. Bring your own wares, and make a deal to secure your way to the top, or secure enough coin to get yourself a drink at the nearby tavern!

Where? Ratchet, of course.

Who's invited? Everyone on Horde-side. Elves, forsaken, Gurubashi trolls, pirates, and others. Hoping to see a diversity in wares and that people won't shy away from making sales and purchases alike.

Disclaimer: I know that Gnash has created the tribal market in Crossroads, but in comparison this is a one time event which invites all to come spend their gold. It's not a market made by initiative of Orcs of the Red blade, but rather the local Ratchet goblins.

As it is basically a requirement for the event to take place, people will have to bring wares to sell, so that we do not end up with only two people trying to sell their stuff to a crowd of uninterested individuals. As such, I am going to make a list of suggestions of what could be sold at the market, and then people are free to use these suggestions as they wish.

• Exotic drinks stand (For example Kaja'cola)
  
  
• Performances of the dancing, storytelling or musical kind (Giving tips is encouraged)
  
  
• Weapons dealer (There to mend weapons, sell new ones, and evaluate your current blades)
  
  
• Armoursmith (Mends armour, sells new, and can slap that demon tusk to your helmet so you look like a real orc)
  
  
• Fortunetelling (Palm-, entrail-, teareading for example)
  
  
• Gambling (Perhaps there'll be some of that famous Blackblood poker)
  
  
• Apothecary (Because the forsaken can surely be trusted now)
  
  
• Challenges (Challenge the entire market to see who's the strongest person there, through perhaps fistfights or full out armoured duels)
  

Post any more suggestions in this thread, and I will update this list with more.

I hope that this event will bring the Horde together and encourage RP over all races, and kinds of roleplay. From thieves, to military regiments, to eccentric personas.

Mount Tradesmen - Kai has a defective Alliance gyrocopter he needs to get rid of
Land Tradesmen - Illegally sell land that doesn't belong to anyone ><
Boat Rides - Pay for the priviledge of a ride to Booty bay (just don't tell them they have to pay to get back)
Hog Safari Rides - Sweet gold for sweet rides around the Barrens
Travelling Barbers - Charge per hair
Snake Pit - Like dog fighting but with...well snakes

This looks really interesting, and for some reason it reminded me of when I went to Kapula-Charshi in Turkey and the guy who was trying to sell me a carpet.

And, Geldar. If you want to avoid them.. bring a dog. Most Turkish people are terrified of dogs. Or so says my experiences in living there for a year.

You said PIRATES. And we shall most certainly attend, as we have our own blacksmithing/tarot/engineering/etc services throughout our expansive array of members, on offer to all Hordies! With gold. Flumi might bring his numerous concoctions with him, but you'll need GHI to get the full effect!

I wonder if the Cult could get it's own stall.. Vectoria could do some fortune telling, WITH THE ENTRAILS OF YOUR CHILDREN!
