What the? Whats going on?

The Cult of Shadow is recruiting! But, were doing it differently! Event style!
And we intend to offer a exciteing new way to join the ranks of The Damned!

Okay, but why should I be interested in creating a forsaken to begin with?

Roleplaying a forsaken can offer you a -wealth- of choice. With that said, also try adding into the mix: religion, games of power and finally: reputation. You will then start to understand what it -means- to be a Cultist of Shadow. Have you ever wondered what it's like to play the bad guy? Or try and find humanity in the heart of a beast? What could it possibly feel like to be the monster in the shadows? What is morality?.

Being a forsaken is coming to terms with what you've become and what that means for your future. A Paladin who once hunted them like animals finds himself new prey, a Priestess who once smiled at the sight of a undead screeching from exocism may finally come to terms with what religion truely mean't to her and will mean. The power of belief is astonishing, having that belief shattered is even more entertaining. Who is your charecter, If he's no longer simply human?

Alright, sounds interesting. But how is this recruitment different?

Simply put; We have Val'kyr. The Forsaken have changed since the fall of Arthas, they are no longer limited in their population, just as The Lich King once rose slaves, the Forsaken can now raise brothers and sisters to the cause. My charecter has been ordered to aid in the ritual of rebirth. That basically means she's the one collecting all the corpses for us to raise. Now if your interested in joining the Cult ( Which I hope you are! ), This can be done in a number of ways. But I'll give you two examples.

Firstly, You use one of your established charecters and either 'racechange em' (Provided they are Blood elf or Human already!). This will essentially mean you kill off your charecter or the Cult comes looking for you. We favor the strong, if your charecters known for his or her skills, they will no doubt be of great use to the Cult.

Secondly, You create a completely new charecter, a blank slate for you to decorate with your own dark creativity!

You mentioned something about an event?

There will be a number of pre-events involving the collection of corpses and bodies for the Cult to raise! But the finale will essentially be every candidate being gathered, surrounded by exsisting cultists and being risen into the ranks of the damned! From there they will be offered guidence from each forsaken and inturn a mentor ( If they require training ).

Anything else?! You crazy zombie!?

Yes! Guidence won't simply be IC either, Out of charecter the Cult is a bunch of psychopaths who intent to bathe in the virgin blood of chickens of very nice people who know a great deal about the lore and what it means to be a Forsaken. Any member will be happy to help and we adore answering questions about charecter creation. We even offer boosts.
