Collection of the failed RSP descriptions.

Personally, I dislike it when people RSP "Looking at <character>, you realise <character> has noble blood/is mind baffling beautiful/radiates evil". It's like things you can find out by RPing, or generally are obsolete information. The more poetic the discription, the more it takes the reader's mind off the purpose of an RSP.

As well written and good as it might be in a book or story, RSPs are easiest to read when kept simple.

Oh please. No one was fooled by that. Not only is this person well-known within the RP community of our server, they are also on this forum. If you truly thought that by censoring the name you made it unrecognisable, you were very wrong. Otherwise, you're very rude. (As I stated above).

I can not even imagine the embarassment and anger I would feel if someone posted an RSP description of mine on here. Especially because none of us here are perfect roleplayers. We all make mistakes, and we all started out somewhere. This is nothing but a show of extremely poor form.

On topic, i do find the overly large RSP descriptions painful to my eyes as RSP should be used to describe the charecter briefly and what you can see with your own eyes, like scars and anything that is specific to the said charecter, not a novel on every little details. I usually just close such RSP`s without even giving them a read no matter how well writen they might be.

Overly large is not always a good thing. As for the posts removal request, it will be discussed with the other mods to find a verdict.

Long RSP's can be a little trying, I agree with that point. However, I don't think that makes an RSP inherently bad. The contents can still be good.

As long as there's nothing majorly rulebreaking in there, I don't see a problem. I don't tolerate multi-coloured eyes or whatnots either though. :3 Keep the funnies coming~

An RSP of the quoted text's size is enough for me personally, anything larger is pretty much an '' Oufsh, and discard. :I

Anyone who has read a few posts in this thread, can see it's not about "bad" rsp's or "technically imperfect" rsp's. It's for pointing and laughing. It's about ridiculous rsp's. Not for "imperfect" rsp's.

Now, again, -close- this conversation. Feel free to open a discussion in the General area, if you wish to discuss your views on what makes a good or bad rsp. But do so without ridiculing people or bringing unwanted attention and unprovoked bad light to them.
