Whitestar Magazine, a new and promising international publication is improving and increasing its working team.
Looking for dynamic, fearless, adventuring, ambitious reporters and snapshotters, Whitestar Magazine is particulary looking after a journalist specialised in Darnassian affairs, and a journalist covering the area of Ironforge.

Whitestar Magazine recruit, explanations :

Firstly, we wanted aim this recruitement thread for our guild Whitestar. But we realise that it’s not needed (even if it would be more cool) to be part of the guild to be hired by Whitestar Magazine.
Our purpose with this Magazine is to actively promote the role play on our server, encourage every events organised by others guilds and organise our own. We enjoy to role play a reporter and to have the possibility to put our nose everywhere. This give us an excellent excuse to be present at every role play event, including « closed » ones.

At the moment we are two OOC and three IC working for Whitestar Magazine. Alakina, and Elloa/Tintam (Tintam is also a terribad reporter). We really would like to be a bit more to cover more events, be able to publish the Magazine more often, and to have more fun together.

It’s NOT need to apply to Whitestar to be part of Whitestar Magazine.( Even if we really would like recruit more role player in our little guild.)

We also have the project to extend this to Horde and organise cross faction role play (with real ID). Then again we have and we will have a Horde version of Whitestar (Whitestar Rocket Crew) but it’s not an obligation to be guilded to be part of the project.


We are looking for :

• A night elf (or someone specialised in Kaldorei affair)[/li]
  
• A gnome or a dwarf (or someone specialised in Ironforge buisness)[/li]
  
• A snapshotter (aka a photograph)

Requierement :

• Beeing active (by this understand someone who play that character several evenings by week)[/li]
  
• Participate to the redaction of Whitestar Magazine by one or two articles by magazine (+- every month, or every two month depending of what we have)[/li]
  
• Be inscribed and read the Whitestar forum regulary[/li]
  
• Beeing autonome, and not wait that the guild (aka me and Alakina) will organise everything for you.

Short presentation of Whitestar, the Guild

Whitestar is a social guild, a core of long date wow friends and real friends. We have choosen to stay a small guild, where people know each other very well, and where its members can feel a sincere, international friendship. Our organisation is made to fit casual and active players.

Our goal in Cataclysm :

• A serious, regular raiding team of 10 players, almost a class run, to raid and progress 2 evening/week.
  
• Social raid, PVP, or role play event will be organised the others days.
  
• Our background of reporters and our magazine to support the Role Play community, organise events and participate to the RP life of Defias Brotherhood.

Indeed since a long time I used a word imagined on french role play server "gobographies" and someone told me this term was really wrong. I then remembered this quest.
So yes, we can make pictures in WOW


Anyway... Whitestar Magazine' crew is at the moment composed of Alakina, Elloa and Tintam (and I play both Tintam and Elloa). We really would be glad to welcome some additional reporters. It will be more fun in game, and for the Magazine, it will be nicer to have differents style of writting.

1, 2 or 3 more and we will be super happy !

I've updated this thread as we will seprate our OOC recruitement (starting a bit before Cata) and our RP recruitement.

Whitestar Magazine doesn't need you to be guilded in Whitestar, and therefor can be open to any person interested by role playing a reporter or a journalist, whatever class, race, lvl, and faction he/she is !

oouh my answer arrive very late !
It's a long time I've not been on this forum, I must say.

We are no more RPly recruiting. Our guildies who were roleplaying had been tired of it/ or do not have enough gaming time to afford rolplaying. Me included.

I'm a bit tired of World of Warcraft, so when I'm not doing my farming duties and my few raids/week I'm just online to chat, or I do something else.



Whitestar may come back on day on the roleplay scene, but not in the future weeks to come.

Aye A sad loss. I was wondering why we weren't seeing you around anymore. It is sad to see confirmed that you won't be around (as often).
