(( Reading through it now, the grammar seems to have improved a fair bit, then kind of sinks back into a load of mistakes as you get further and further down the, uhm.. paper?
Will give a proper write up once I'm doing something other than skim reading. I suggest you look over.. or rather have a few people give it a once over to correct it and then edit it (I presume you 'can' edit these blog-esq things). Whilst it can't be said a good amount of effort has gone into this, losing those mistakes would help the presentation alot.
Still not a huge fan of the more 'modern' style of it, but i'll save that for another time. ))

My boyfriend only had the time to proof-read 2 of my articles. The rest I've done myself. I've been super carefull, but my knowledge of english is limited (this really annoy me, but I really can't do better without class) and the magazine had to be out today. If not it will be too late (cause of Cataclym) and look stupid. It should be corrected along the week though :p
Anyway, you can role play this and send a letter of indignation, could be fun !
Now you have talk about the typo..are the articles interestings ?
Re: Whitestar Magazine : next issue (updated 17-01-11)
OOC: Baron Mistmantle approves of the glorifying article about his selflessness and greatness. /me picks up the latest issue of whitestar magazine and puts it next to the wine and cheese platter on the table.

As shown on the 'New Defias website' forums, there would be a fair few people who would likely be willing to proof read.

"Teh Squids are stealing us jeerrbss, now dey are wreeting der alien propoganda in our papers! Kick 'em arrrttt!"

The articles themselves served as a decent round up of what had occured for those (including myself) who did not attend them for whatever reason, so yes I suppose you could say they were interesting - I'd say informative but then I suppose that is the whole point anyway.

Yeah I admire the effort alot, there's a HUGE amount of stuff in it, but I have to agree about this "modern" look it has to it that reminds me of all those flashy magazines in shops I see but never go near xD

As for me i had my own corrector this time...i would like to thank Torukan lots of time again for his work with my articles
And the modern looks of it, just satisfy me alot, i hate old yellowtoned looking photos...some of you think its great...me think its boring. i will never be editor-in-chief for a magazine with such boring pictures.
Snapshotters ftw!

If Drustai wasn't so busy with worrying about the whole 'end of the world' thing, she'd send in a complaint about being outed as an undead publically like that, in the Diaspora House article. Not only does that mar her own future interactions with people, but it could make people leery of coming to the Diaspora House ("there's death knights there? I'm going to stay away!").
Anyway, good reads. If you need editing in the future, feel free ask me, and I could look over them for you.

i think we all have lived amongst death knights so long to know that some of them inst so bad att all. alakina is in love with one.
if you want you can send a letter of complaint to me (alakina) IC and tell me that you dont want Whitestar to mention you are a dead knight in future magazines.

Only thing after a quick skim through I can mention is that I doubt a paper would mention a judge's pregnant partner as a "Girlfriend" if it wasn't through wedlock. It would most likely be "Mistress is carrying his bastard". It's enough to go back to the 1930ties and in many countries even in the "western" world that would be a big shame on any family, in the society that is Azeroth I'd say it would be more so.
Just a tip that for me would make it feel more immersive.

I advise to stick to the subject of the thread, which is the Whitestar Magazine unless you wish me to clean this thread

I have a question. I will of course need to put this up on the newspapers list. But, should I keep the old versions there too or, what to do? :O

Julia, yes you can keep the old version (WHitestar News + Whitestar News 2), as it's memories and also it's explained in our guild background, it's part of our story.
if it's what you are talking about ... if not...You can simply link the blog. As it's a blog everything is saved on the same link anyway.
I've have announced it here on the forum in a new thread as we are not well known yet
@ Drustai : poor little Tintam who wanted to impress with her first article ! you can be mad at her ! It will be fun (Elloa have noothing to do with what tintam is writting btw *save her skin*)
@ The story of Alakina and Viljius Morte is a cute story *nod nod* Too bad he is not playing anymore We need to find a new (and active) lover for Alakina ! Yep !
