Pay attention to the chat box, "just gunna get engineering 4 to make bone armor". That line alone brings about a lot of nostalgia for me.

Best way I found so far to deal with thugs has been to repeatedly throw a crate at them before they decide to die. That way you don't have to wear out the durability of two melee weapons to kill them. They're really annoying :X

Sounds like a plan. I haven't read ANYTHING about it, other than watched the trailer, etc, so as not to spoil the game. XD Looking forward to it, the trailer was so sad. The parents always die when they save the kid, not the kid eating the parents! I was like OMG Sad

Sometimes you can find big red containers with a valve of somekind on top of it, throw to stun and then throw a weapon at the container so it explodes.
And spec atleast one point into the fury tree, one fury is enough for one thug.

Full fury (well, and survival)! Logan's fury is just too awesome to pass up on. And yeah, I've abused those red canister/container things against the thugs. If you're feeling like going melee vs them though, I can recommend trying to chop off their arms. If you can cut them off (and sometime for some reason it's enough with cutting one off) he will just proceed doing a harmless bite attack. Razz

Oh and I guess I owe Morinth and anyone else who wants to play Dead Island a small spoiler notice in the end here.
