Other news, pretty solid review on DEx at RPS. Comparing to what I played from the leaked Alpha, its pretty much heads on - and yes, that includes the 'mehs'.

As it looks now I'll probably preorder DEx seeing as I can actually get it at a decent price on d2d and not have to pay in fucking euro on steam. ;x I'm worried it's gonna be too short though.

Valid concern, tbh. I completed the first act realtively quickly, and that was with reloading every so often to see how I could've approached a situation differently, add to it that I recall hearing there were only 3 acts, and it might turn out shorter than I'd have liked <.>
You'll have to take the replay value in consideration though. What with all the options you have, I'd imagne it is fairly high.

Played the demo, was awesome. Would I be well familiar with the Warhammer universe, I'd probably be that crazy excited about it as well. Now I was just...well, excited!

Tried out the Space Marine demo as well. Even though I'm not that big on space marines as characters, I was genuinely impressed by it, especially considering the fact that it actually played along very smoothly with mouse and keyboard combination as well.

I finished Bastion.. It's really so, so good. I need Bastion 2 now.

I've also been playing some Age of Empires online, and I've been enjoying it so far.. Looking forward to try some pvp and see how that goes.

I have to admit, that's very obvious you are going to be nowhere without the premium pack.. which is okay, I suppose, the game is worth paying for.

Bastion was indeed good, although I did finish it the same day I bought it. Now working on New Game+ with all the gods using my favorite weapon combination (musket+carbine).
Also, the narrator's voice.
Actually, that's all that needs to be said on the matter.

In other news, From Dust was rather nice as well, although it was perhaps a tad too short for the price tag. Not to mention that my poor old laptop can't quite run it on the settings I would like to.

I'd like to see a From Dust with strategic combat and buildings that you can put your villages to work with. Like turtling your way through a flooded area with anti water beacons or something... also like "fuck walls, i got a god damn mountain range".

Finished DEx, woo. Certainly was a very engrossing experience, even if it had its faults - like say, not being nearly as smart as it pretends to be, or the boss fights. The Mantis is such a bitch if you've focused on stealth and hacking primarily.
Some other stuff, sure, but I'm willing to overlook them because of the complete package they've delivered. I certainly enjoyed myself.
