CCing RP'ers.

Thought I would post it here non hidden.

People on this forum who for ooc and ic reasons in anger or frustration deliberatly decide to CC and ruin others rp should in my opinion not be on this forum. People should on this rp forum have enough respect for RP to not right out go ahead and do such.

In repeated actions I would love to see perma bans for such. It is too late in the night for me to once again go over the rules I simply wish to raise my voice on the matter. RP'ers should -not- CC other RPers ruining their fun for such.

As if we keep Goons away, we should also keep those who act like ones away.

Situations like these are already being talked about. Give us time.

I corpse camp Inappropiate names and Roleplay griefers, never roleplayers. 

I've been having words with certain offenders ingame but alas to no avail *shrug*

I think this subject speaks for itself. And in all honesty, I personally believe the kid in question should have been banned firmly by now.

@ Vectoria - I gank and CC non RPers with shitty names or guildtags I want to see off of my screen (ex. Goons and so on). Killing a fellow RPer once is fine enough, but CCing and specially during big events is just simply and purely lack of respect.

I've never Camped a RPer, and not almost anyone for that matter since i allways run around in RP gear and get killed easily

I gank whoever tries to gank me. Obviously killing OOC'ers if I feel like it.

Funny thing is, my new arena team partner fits the description of the person you mentioned.

Ofcourse, I have never took part in these "RP Killing" events, as I am an RPer myself and wouldn't want to lower my reputation any more than it has been already (I'm "Disliked" at the moment rather than "Hated").

Funny thing is, I don't attack anyone on Jakins unless the person is being a problem. Jakins is pretty neutral and will only attack to help another or if the person is a known problem.

With my SGE Troll, however, I kill whatever anyone tells me to kill x) I only won't do it if I get told not to.

Never do I kill another RPer; however, I know a few RPers who kill and camp me. I won't name names but I know who they are.

I would go a step further and ask if anyone would be able to take said people seriously in-game anymore, knowing that they actively go after griefing RPers. I surely won't be RPing with any of those. They might not land on my ignore list, but they will still be utterly ignored in-game. I see no reason to waste my time RPing anything out with them, for obvious reasons.

I don't see the difference between camping roleplayers and non-roleplayers. It's griefing and not a very nice thing to do no matter who it's done to. :/

^ that. There is a slight difference though.

The difference is that someone who intentionally crashes rp events with the purpose of griefing one or more participants, in the process destroying the events, should not be in these boards.

In addition I'd say, some of us role player (including me) are not actively role playing all the time. (I tag myself as OCC with flagrps, when I'm just relaxing and chaining quest for example). But it's not because our character is "OCC" that it can justify to kill someone who is doing some role play, because then we break his immersion. If you see someone role playing, you can only attack him/her if you are yourself in character even once. If not, it has non sense.

I'll tell you the difference. When I'm somewhere outside or inside a city, roleplaying and another roleplayer decides to attack, I play along, we have a fight, since we're both taking the occurrence ICly most likely and then we move on. In this case, I have no reason to get pissed off, considering the common mentality we both share about IC happenings.

Now, if the attacker is a non-roleplayer and decides to kill me repeatedly, with the sole reason to grief me and actively disrupt my fun in the game, that certain 'bond' that roleplay provides ceases to exist. Retaliation will commence in its ugliest form.

Same goes for people who blatantly and openly disrespect the realm policies, be it with an OOC name or their actions. Those people are disrupting my immersion and have no place on a roleplaying realm. These people will be killed and corpsecamped, provided that I have nothing better to do (points at the Goon mage named Rhgf or something similarly idiotic).

I usually never initialize corpsecamping myself, unless I know for a fact that the one I'm after is an OOCer and has done something in the past to deserve said treatment (points at the same Goon mage again). As for people I don't know at all, can't be sure whether or not they're RPers or whether they're attacking me ICly or OOCly, I follow a rather simple rule: if you grief me, I grief you; if you corpsecamp me, I will return the favor.

If it's a poorly named leveling alt, or 80. I kill them twice.
Grom, Goon, or any other Rper griefers, I keep going till I get bored.

If it's a roleplayer, in pvp gear. I don't CC, But I damn well charge in /grin and chaos bolt 'em. Just to make them feel loved.

That  "OHEMGEE! MANDUI GO, GO! " situation. For example.
And er.. I've attacked -one- person in RP gear, On Alliance at 80, Night elf Rping with the SGE, I apologised afterwards. But I just saw, Stealthed Night elf druid. and saw RP gear on her when she died >.<.

Also my pvp rules are kill once then leave alone if you ress and attack someone I will fight back.

The only time I "cc" is if my alts/friends/guildies are being cced if you cant take it then dont do it to other people *nod*

Am I the only one who does the exact opposite to these groups...? I go out in search of people who aren't RPing and try to annoy them. I never corpse-camp, but I do CC-Fear-Spam them a few times before finishing them off if they're a lower level. If they're my level, I try to wait until their fighting something - as their PvP gear often tends to be very superior. I just kill once, then run.

As for RPers, when I want to PvP, I avoid them like the plague - as I wouldn't want to anger anyone I actually know that could prove detrimental to my RP Reputation.

So mandui was the druid, but.. Who were you Veia? D:
