[IC] Letter to the King
*copies sent to the Council of Stormwind and the Archbishop of the Church of the Holy Light*
Your Royal Majesty,
We hope this letter finds you in good health, and may you enjoy countless more years! Province of Duskwood knows many troubles, your highness. The undead and the Worgen are the least of them. Cult known as the Dark Sphere has claimed the lands and pretended to rule your subjects through tyranny and oppression. The Sphere then used the town of Darkshire as a base of operations to strike against Stormwind proper.
Your loyal servants, the Chapter of Holy Anethion (May His name be forever exalted!), have marched against Darkshire and routed the cultist defenders. Others before us have failed to truly and fully uproot the Dark Sphere and have abandoned Darkshire to its fate after a few days. We shall not. We have learned from history. First of all we have apprehended all cultists found in Darkshire and according to His Majesty's anti-cultist laws given them to the flames.
Rest assured, Sphere-support in Darkshire has dwindled dramatically as there are too few supporters left alive. I am sure priests in their comfortable rooms within the Cathedral will speak against us. His Majesty knows better than to listen to soft philosophers who speak of ethics and morals. His Majesty, veteran of many wars and witness of countless scenes of destruction, knows that Ethical conduct is a luxury. A luxury we cannot afford at this time!
One cannot cook an omelet without breaking some eggs. Bloodless wars do not exist. Yes, many have died on the pyres (may the Light have mercy on their souls!), perhaps some of them were innocent. But I am certain that His Majesty knows that price of victory is paid in blood. Those modern 'reformers' think that Rights, Liberties and Security are self-evident. They are not. Only benevolent and autocratic rule of the Crown of Wrynn is self-evident in this realm! Things we have grown accustomed to: laws, rights, liberties and security are a luxury; they are a favor bestowed by His Lordship upon His subjects. And as every favor, every luxury, they can be confiscated and withdrawn for the Greater Good of this noble realm!
Let His Majesty know that the followers of Anethion shall make good every anguished cry. Every drop of blood paid for this victory shall be accounted for. We shall never abandon Duskwood and we shall cleanse the lands from evil and darkness! When thick, black fog finally retreats and dust of battle settles even the soft philosophers in their ivory towers will agree that this triumph was achieved for a very low price!
May the Light protect His Majesty and the realm of Stormwind!
May the Beacon of Virtue shine brightly in these lands, now, tomorrow and ever more!
Faith Shall Overcome!

Now this is what I'd call highly authentic in a Medieval-based fantasy setting.
Thumbs up.

Nice writing there, and nice dribble to keep it formally correct (to the King) and efficient (to the Council)

Re: [IC] Letter to the King
we are recruiting indeed, but humans only! Other races will have extra-hard time to get in, but its possible.

Every race may join, but non-humans will have to conform with a set of rules and special conditions.
1) Adopt human culture and religion
2) Drop ties to their old culture and race
3) Take a human name
4) Live&Work in a human nation
...are the 4 most important.

Re: [IC] Letter to the King
That's down-right generous! I don't think Shriyaro will be applying any time soon though. Would certainly be interesting to see some 'race traitors' joining though, and the prejudices they would face both in their new world, and from their old.

Too much Avatar. And too much fanaticism. *spits in the general direction of the Chapter and walks away defiantly*Imanuel wrote:

On a serious note: a good initiative, lots of RP will spring out of this ^^
