The Kirin Tor (Alliance)

Magi of Azeroth:

The Kirin Tor seek your help. All of you who sense and wield the magicks of our world, might come and take part in our noble cause! To learn and protect the magicks inflows of our world, united under the leadership of Lord Rhonin and the Council of Six.

OOC information: the guild is not created yet, its an idea of mine. Please if you like it and would join, please post it, or if you have some better idea on the ranks or anything else, fell free... Help is appreciated!

I could only use the name of the foremost Magi organisation there is: Kirin Tor... wich i think hasnt been represented on our RP comunity yet. As well as after seeing how many people use the Kirin Tor name for their RP (as well as myself!)

It would be a guild to people with a desire to learn and teach lore, as well as to RP with magick and official lore. You will learn spell ICly as well as perform some other magicks for other guild who would need our assistance ICly. We would be part of the comunication way between Alliance and Lord Rhonin, our proud "leader", as well as the possiblity to do many other tipes of magickal events still to be imagined ^^.

This guild is not for mages only. People with any relation to magick and/or want to help the Kirin Tor cause.

Ranks:

Aprentice: recently joined the Kirin Tor and are still on training. Need to attend some IC lessons.

After that they will become one of the two next ranks:

Warden: Mostly soldier like characters. They are the physical side of the guild. This is where the guild has most the non-magick members.

Scribe: The magickal members who have passed beyond aprenticeship...

These two ranks might grow up to three diferent ranks then:

Magi: people who deal with the elements and arcane energies everywhere!

Holistic people who wield the powers of the light.

Cultist: members with knowledge of the dark power of the shadows.

Naturists: druids and the likes who are close to the nature itself.

Each one of these ranks will have their respective mentor, belonging to the rank of Lorekeeper wich will be the member who especializes in one of the ranks above.

The next and last rank is the people working close to Lord Rhonin and the Council of Six, The Archmages wich will have, for now, 3 people, including the guildleader(such will be me with a OOC rank)

Before posting take two things in consideraton: The Kirin Tor were created to colect and categorize all magicks and magick artifacts on the world. Besides, warriors and non magick classes might be part of it as well: go to Violet Hold and see the guards!

Well wut aboot that thing Jayse does with his guild where you dun't have to join to "join" and they don't use guild chat! Ofc that's just if yer in a raidin guild or something.

...or quit raiding and join this mon'!

Or be in an RP guild and go raid when you feel like it anyway? Like the old days, where there was raiding alliances between RP guilds. Much better back then.

Taht could be solved by creating a private chat people could join on some alts or stuff... Well, it seems its going well, huh? XD

Ooooh! Nice! I like to see more guilds merging the aspects of the game with RP, it's time to advance in this direction. Well the Ashen Nevren takes place as followers of Alexstrasza, it'd be rather nice to arrange something together if you get the guild going ;] Poke me in-game or PM on the forum :]

we need to meet ICly dude! XD We portuguese people are all over azeroth and beyond... guild created... give me some day to organize stuff and get things going with more members and all, and our guilds might make an alliance... thanks for the help... anyone who wants to join, whisper me in-game!

Also this is an excellent idea. It was a shame when Stormwind Council of Magi disappeared, hope you have better luck than them.
