Worgen Classes

Given I wanted this to be a poll, thought I'd make a new thread for it.

So, what class is your Worgen character going to be then? God forbid anybody votes for 'Death Knight'.

Well this is an attempt to get a decent estimate of classes that will be played. Selecting Death Knight "4 TEH LULZ LOLOLOLOL IMA HIALUSS" kind of defeats the point, doesn't it?

Warrior. To me no other class has ever embodied the Fury tree as much as worgen can. Obviously, they're not all raging berserkers by nature or anything despite being animalistic but the way I see it, there's just something appealing about a werewolf enraging with bloodrage and all that. Even orcs don't quite carry the effect across fully.

Alright fair play. I've cancelled the vote as for now i'm not intending to be Rping a worgen. So picking a favourite class would also defeat the point.

Rogue, for the idea I had re some RP.

I did have an idea for a priest, purely for RP. Kind of a spite filled, fire and brimstone preacher, wild eyed and wild hair... possibly.

Priest for life.

Warlock because of the speed racial, something we've badly needed for years....

Warrior prolly, being one of the classes that i've never tried for real and i only want to make a worgen til the end of the starting zone really. *shivers at the alliance* There isn't much point in making a DK Worgen since you won't be able to see anything new, you'll start in the Archerus and so on.

I was leaning on rogue for the "prowl" ability, and that daggers/fist weapons is the closest you can get to using your claws.

I did think of warrior for a while, due to the bleeds. But then I thought. "I Have claws, why do I need or want a huge weapon? GG"

But now... I settled for Hunter. Mainly because I want to try them out.
But also because now I'll be able to track.
That and I can have a worg compaion! \o/

Warrior for RP reasons.

Oh how I wish I knew... I'm divided between three!

Warrior! This appeals to the Human side of my character. I quite enjoyed levelling a warrior even though only to 30, plus for RP I'll be able to get the cool 60 pvp set.

Rogue! This is brilliant for the worgen side. Always liked the idea of a rgue however I don't know a set that could work for RP gear.

Hunter! Friendly territory for me, Gilnean Rifleman for the win, though it'll be a bit same old same old after a while.

To be honest, I'm not even sure if i'll be rolling a goblin/worgen yet. Considering the new race options and changes to the old starting zones. I mean, Silverpine revamped and the whole Gilneas vs Undercity is tempting me to start a forsaken hunter :OBut, a worgen spriest, warlock sounds fun. Voting spriest.

I'll go for a hunter.

Considering I'm not certain of whether or not I'll make a worgen, I chose priest, purely because I've always wanted one and seem to have no motivation to level them.

So a new race will probably help that along.

Although my whims do tend to change...At the moment! I can't help but envision this middle-aged grey haired Human in a robe, face hidden by his hood with a walking stick, enter a bar, sit in the corner and eventually get heckled by the regulars...Transforming on the spot, he pokes his now feral face out of hood, his eyes flaring red, and as he howls. Fire emits from his nostrils/mouth, charring the drunkard infront of him.

So Mage for me as it stands, not to mention the fact that the Worgen have rather magical origins...Arugal being a Mage and stuff, so I think that they'd have rather adept Magi stuck in Gilneas studying, now ready to be released and pwn!!! Oh oh oh, and should casting be interrupted...Comeon, Imma Worgen, Imma charge yuu down and rip yurr face off anyhow.

They had mages before the curse my friend, as did all the Human nations.

Well durr, I haven't forgotten that.
