House Darivere (of Stratholme)

-Head of the House: Nalera Sarina Darivere

-Notable Ancestors: Tyric Faldren Darivere (Deceased)

-Crest: A golden weighing-balance on a wine-red field.

-Relations with other noble families: See below.

-Lands (if any): Formerly a large mansion within Stratholme, located at Market Row. Estate a few miles out of Northdale, destroyed aswell.

-Knights in Service: None

The Dariveres used to be a wealthy family, having made their fortune through the import of various exotic goods into Stratholme and quickly expanded their influence to the entire trade business within the city.

Known with the other noble families for their talent to acquire the rarest of goods, no matter the price sparked rumours of using less-then-legal methods, but little did it matter.

It was assumed that during the Culling of Statholme, the entire family and it's guards got wiped out, however recently both Lady Nalera and the son of the guard's captain (Wravien Brightshield); Rallic Brightshield returned to public life and are apparently wed.

House Valthia Of Duskwood
Head of House Lady Nayru Valthia, widower to the previous Lord.

Notable Members Lord Draco Valthia, Deceased.

Crest A black raven on a white shield, surrounded by yellow leaves branches.

Lands Formerly owned a small mansion and some farmlands near the valley that leads to Stranglethorn Vale, between the valley and Darkshire. The mansion was utterly destroyed by the nearby ogres.

Knights in Service None

History
The House of Valthia was once known throughout Elywnn as a kind and loving family, who often employed the local farmers to tend to their fields and orchards. However, the curse that flooded through Duskwood left the fields rotten and unusable, and the great house lost its source of commerce with it. the area has now become known as the Rotting Orchard. The occupants were forced to move to northern Elywnn, and have since lived in Stormwind, trying to restore their families wealth. Recently, they have made progress in their goals, by selling furs to the ships bound to Northrend, and the house has begun to flourish, though the Lord of the house has died. His Widower, Lady Nayru Valthias has become the Head of the House, until her son reaches a mature age to continue the legacy.

House Duncreigh
Head of the House: Jezzek Duncreigh

Notable Ancestors: Aleathir Duncreigh, who is said to have been a High elf and the last member of his bloodline - leaving him as the only Duncreigh alive during the Troll Wars. Headmaster Elric Duncreigh, a Headmaster at the rumoured school made it an official rule for all mages that are trained - that they have to use either a staff, wand or spellblade when throwing spells, or performing rituals. Ever since that, mages of House Duncreigh have been throwing spells, and performing rituals with a staff, wand or spellblade.

Crest: A white eye embedded in white mist and the magical runes of all magic schools circling around the eye in white patterns on a black background.

Relations with other noble families: The Duncreighs are said to have relations with the 'Mistwood' family from Gilneas, as they both mainly had influence in the country through vast magic knowledge.

Lands: None known, they are however said to have a tower in another dimension, or warped space in the Twisting Nether - But these may just be rumours.

Knights in Service: None known, but the bloodline train mages.

History: The Duncreigh bloodline is said to be elven from the beginning. One of the elves that taught magic to men during the time of great Thoradin, is said to have found his soulmate amongst the humans. The bloodline then started training mages in a school-like tower, said to be locate in a different dimension. If this is true, or if It's just rumours, no one truly knows.

House Amaltheria
Head of the House: Jehorius Leoric Amaltheria

Notable Ancestors: Jehorius father, Arthmist Amaltheria is known for the huge amount of gold he donated to the Grand Alliance during the First War.

Crest: A golden gryphon, and a golden lion stood on their back paws - front paws(and claws) raised ferociously at each other while roaring, on a dark blue background.

Relations with other noble families: Jehorius Amaltheria is said to have the Baronial seal of the Iretongue Bloodline, suggesting they were friends, at least.

Lands: Used to own a Baronial estate east of Darrowshire, and some of the land around it. They owned more gold mines than actual land.

Knights in Service: None known as of now, all perished in the Third War.

History: The Amaltheria Bloodline hail from Lordaeron and came to being as one bigger family split into two due to internal rivalry, which ended in a silent political war, with assassination attempts and the like. During the First War they donation large amount of gold to the Grand Alliance and the entire bloodline swore to continue fighting until this foreign Horde was defeated. Almost the entire family perished. Only a small part of the family remained and they eventually lost influence and mines, but managed to keep a small portion of their former power, which eventually was destroyed with the beginning of the Third War and madness of Arthas.

House Felori.

A noble, but not very wealthy family originating from Gilneas.
They were known as an extremely faithful family, flawless in their faith and manners.
Rumors speaks of that the Lady of the house, Kirienea Felori one day got so scared of something that she killed her husband and their twin sons before she killed herself. Leaving their young daughter behind. Rumours speculates about what as drove her to do such a thing, and why the daughter remained unharmed. Few ever saw the daughter of the house after the family funeral. Not long ago the house was burned to the ground and no one knows if the remaining daughter still lives.

Previous members of the house:
Lady Kirienea Felori - Zerketh Felori - Parkan Felori and Ventiro Felori.

Assumed dead:

Karenza Felori, heir and last known living member of the house.

House Freen

- Head of the House: Lucila Freen
- Notable ancestor(s): Meriandor Freen, Knight of the Silver Hand
- Crest: Two maces, crossed.
- Relations with other noble families: None at the moment.
- Lands (if any): A minor manor in Stormwind and some other properties.
- Knights in service: None

With the death of Lord Nerin Freen, who had no children, the position of head of the House went to his wife Lucila. A minor House these days, no longer possessing the influence and honour it once had.

One of the first things Lucila did was to send away most of the remaining staff and servants in order to save the Household from bankruptcy.

Nerin Freen. A fat old Nobleman with no real interest in his status nor the ability to lead his House properly. Became heir after his older (and more capable) brother died on the battlefield during the Second War.

House Ironhand of Lordaeron
- Head of the House: Khendran Ironhand
- Notable ancestor(s): Aerius Ironhand, Brandon Ironhand.
- Crest: A grey, armored fist on a white field, and a crest of Lordaeron in the bottom right corner.
- Lands (if any): All estates lie in ruins. Before the Scourge the House held rather large estates in central Tirisfal, called the Tirisfal Fields.
- Knights in service: None at present.

The House Ironhand has a long history in Lordaeron, dating back to the founder of the House and a warleader, Aerius Ironhand. Stories of how he gained his position are not clear, but the House itself insists that western Tirisfal was settled by Aerius' men, who then pleaded the new King to promote him to a noble. Whatever the truth is, it is known that during the early days of the Kingdom, the head of House Ironhand was also the Lord of Western Tirisfal. After Aerius' death, however, the influence of the House started declining, reaching a new low when Brandon Ironhand was named the Baron of Tirisfal Fields and the estates the House held decreased significantly. Currently, the House holds a large amount of coin gathered from selling grain over the years, but has no knights or servants on their payrolls.

I just saw that I havent put House Mistmantle up here. Can't have it that way!

House Mistmantle of Stormwind
Registry of Noble families - Page 2 Mistmantle

- Head of the House: Braiden Mistmantle
- Notable ancestor(s): Antol Mistmantle, militairy commander
- Crest: The two headed snake
- Relations with other noble families: Related by blood to the near extinct House Mistmantle of Gilneas and a largely unknown Stormwind noble house.
- Lands: A tower in Elwynn forest, a librairy in Stormwind city and destroyed lands in Duskwood.
- Knights in service:

[i]Stormwinds House Mistmantle has its origins in Gilneas but has cut itself off from the main bloodline, more then often refering to parts of the main bloodline as blood traitors and beasts. House Mistmantle has been nobles of Stormwind for two generations and gained their status by militiary contribution trough the Mistmantle regiment. The current house however, concerns itself with collecting fortune and building a base of power within the kingdom.

Into what?

Also more on topic, has anyone kept the score on how many noble houses each race has, or is everything human in here?

Nobility gets really etchy outside Humanity. So it's mostly human. And Worgen and Elven. Blood Elven. Night elves seemed to have dumped nobility with the Highbourne. Probs cause they -were- the nobility. Either way, I digress. It's mostly human.
