The House Trollbane

- Head of the House: Saihna Trollbane

- Crest: The Silver Raven

- Relations with other noble families: Arador Vasgar Trollbane, the next heir to the throne of the Highlands is the offspring of Aranith Dawnweaver and Anaei Tyra Trollbane. Linking the two houses. Daleen Bregdan was once Anaei Tyra Trollbane's lady-in-waiting and confidant linking to the house of Bregdan. Stromgarde was one of the Seven Human Nations of the first Grand Alliance, linking the House of Trollbane with nearly all other Royal Houses including Wrynn, Greymane and Proudmoore.

- Lands (if any): Supreme control of the Arathi Highlands rests with the Head of this House, whilst the regional lands for personal ownership are the West Plains and North Cliffs.

-Knights in Service: The Order of the Silver Ravens are pledged to serve the head of this house as Monarch. Eselan Leomin is an honourary Arathorian General and therefore a knight of the realm.

Thusly his crown passed to his most valueble warrior; Ignaeus Trollbane. Since this time the Trollbanes have governed with justice and faith in their people always prepared for the trials of the future never forgetting the lessons of the past.

House Andural (of Alterac)

- Head of the House: Lady Amirah Andural

- Notable ancestor(s): Owain of the Shining Spear, Arvidan the Ironhanded, Medryn the Wise

- Crest: A silver hound on a black background.

- Relations with other noble familes: Alliance with House Dawnweaver (Amirah is married to Elegost Dawnweaver); sworn enmity to those noble houses of Alterac who became known as 'the Syndicate.' Ties of kinship to the lesser noble Aislinghall family of Lordaeron, now of Stormwind (Amirah's mother was Helena Aislinghall).

- Lands (if any): Formerly an estate in northwestern Alterac.

- Knights in service: None at present.

While once an old and respected family of Alterac, House Andural became a name without power in the wake of Alterac's betrayal and subsequent fall. Still, those of the blood who remain are fiercely attached to their ancestry.

Two branches of the same family:

House Braithwaite, traitors of Arathor (of Arathor)

- Head of the House: Lord Eodain "Panther Claw" Braithwaite (De-facto)
- Notable Ancestors: Aetherod "Spider-eye" the Defector (Traitor of Arathor),

Known as the 'Traitors of Arathor' The Braithwaite's were a significant political force, until the invasion of the Horde where the house allowed the orcs entry into their lands in exchange for sparing their servants and family. When Arathor emerged victorious, Aetherod Braithwaite was executed and the remnants of his family escaped detainment and joined the Syndicate along with the Alterac side of their family.

House Braithwaite of Alterac (Alterac)

- Leader of house: Unknown, if any.
- Notable Ancestors: Isobel the fair, Eorohl "Hammerstorm" the Stalwart, the loyalist.
- Crest: The Black Widow spider.
- Relations to other noble families: Allied with the Syndicate-aligned nobles, enemies of the Braithwaite's who have left the Syndicate. (Should any remain)
- Lands (If any): Some farmland around Stahnbrad, with an estate.
- Knights in service: None.

A noble house of Alterac known for their political ruthlessness and silver tongues, the Alteracian side of house Braithwaite were renowned for their cruelty who all very quickly joined the Syndicate bar one - Eorohl - The boy who ran away.

Danath is technically not an ancestor as he is in the same family tier as Saihna being her 2nd cousin. Also he's not dead.

Aye, Saihna has a proper one, you should look at it. It's quite good in my opinion. Makes it nice and explanitory and not so hard to believe.

House Galenos of Lordaeron

- Head of the House: Omanos Galenos (Current next in line: Julia Galenos)

- Notable ancestor(s): Lucas Galenos (deceased), General Aramus Galenos (deceased)

- Crest: A golden broadsword and a silver greataxe crossed across a shield bearing the emblem of Lordaeron.

- Relations with other noble families: None at present, it is assumed that with the fall of Lordaeron, House Galenos's ties were severed.

- Lands (if any): Former ownership of buildings within the city of Lordaeron, former ownership of small pieces of land surrounding it.

- Knights in service: None, currently.

House Galenos was largely dwindled with the fall of Lordaeron, the only remaining survivors after that were Aramus Galenos and his son, Omanos Galenos. With Aramus' recent death, Omanos became the head of the house. Despite it's seemingly insignificant place and size, Omanos continues to respect the past and maintain it.

The House of Hohenstaufen.

- Head of the House: Baron Friedrich von Hohenstaufen (Ulrich Baltram's father, and now an argent crusader)

- Notable Ancestors: lord Conrad who led a company of his knights, helping prince Arthas Menethil purge Stratholme. (Later was plagued and turned into a ghoul by a vengeful necromancer.)

- Lands: A now plagued estate near Stratholme. The now forsaken lands and a fief in Tirisfal. A fief in Arathi Highlands, a ravaged fief in the kingdom of Alterac. And houses/mansions/villas in Southshore, Stormwind city, Stromgarde city. (The rest were in Lordaeron city, Stratholme, Andorhal.)

- Knights in service: Around ten knights with their squires, mercenaries and servants, fighting the remnants of the Scourge, in hope to conquer the Family's lands back.

(( And as for Ulrich Baltram von Staufen... he's yet a squire (due to his young age and tradition), but soon to become a knight. ))

House Aislinghall of Andorhal

- Head of the House: Lord Gerard Garaveth Aislinghall

- Notable ancestor(s): Garaveth the Sorcerer; Cedric, paladin of the Silver Hand.

- Crest: A golden rose against a blue field.

- Relations with other noble familes: No current official alliances, though the blood of several noble houses in Lordaeron (and some from Alterac) flows in the Aislinghall veins.

- Lands (if any): Formerly an estate outside of Andorhal and a manor in the city. Currently, a modest mansion in Stormwind.

- Knights in service: None at present.

House Aislinghall is much diminished since the fall of Lordaeron, with only the siblings Gerard, Aestra, and Sylvera surviving. While they are a lineage with few great deeds to their name, those of the Aislinghall blood are known for the high frequency of magical affinity among them. A few Aislinghalls, including the current lord of the house, have become skilled mages working amongst the Kirin Tor.

House Aethelwine (Greater)

- Notable ancestor(s): Lady Elicia Aethelwine, priestess. Arcanist Lucius Aethelwine, Kirin Tor

- Crest: A golden shield on a field of blue with an oak in the middle, a harp and some books laying at it’s roots.

- Relations with other noble familes: As a greater House with a history stretching back to Arathor itself, the Aethelwines have no shortage of rivals or enemies among the other Houses.

They have a tenuous alliance with House Orthur through Lady Joanna, Lord Nilas' spouse.

House de'Besche remains a loyal vassal of House Aethelwine, more so assured by the marriage of the eldest daughter, Lady Theresia, to him some years ago. Perhaps not the happiest of marriages but the aging Lord Hoster treats his wife with respect and courtesy, or so it is said.

House Hosht's heir and only son is betrothed Lady Olivia, the youngest daughter of House Aethelwine.

- Lands and estates (if any): House Aethelwine keeps an estate in Stormwind as well as apartments in the Royal Keep.

- Knights in service: Sir Aleric Dylian, heir

Where is the house of Darkbane? I'd love for Dom, the grumpy, old git that he is, find out that he is actually a noble.
Not that he'd actually do much, just probably complain about the new fangled responsibility, being the eldest(?) member of said family.
(considering that he is now the third brother of Calgar and Albarecius Darkbane, by a completely unexpected coincidence of having randoly picked the same last name as Kainna and Forlant. I love little things like that Smile)

Even though he's not technically a family line yet, Merandil being Knighted is presumably the start of a noble line (unless he dies a horrible death, which is of course quite likely).

House Haldén of Redridge

Head: Sir Merandil T. Haldén, Knight of the Realm

Notable Ancestors: Brigadier General Teremil Haldén, First War veteran of the Stormwind Army

Crest: N/A (As of yet)

Relations to other Noble Houses: N/A (As of yet)

Lands: Mansion in the hilly outskirts of Lakeshire, farmland north-west of Lakeshire

Knighted by Highlord Bolvar Fordragon, then-Regent of Stormwind City, Sir Haldén and his adoptive daughter meet only the basest of criteria for a "Noble family", although existing familial ties at time of Knighting also ties Teremil Haldén and Tara Haldén - Merandil's father and sister respectively - into the House.

House Brightsoul (of Stormwind)

- Head of the House: Baron Edward Brightsoul

- Notable ancestor(s): Richard Brightsoul (died shortly after the first war), Edwin Brightsoul (died only a year ago)

- Crest:

- Relations with other noble familes: None

- Lands (if any): Until recently had patches of land in westfall and redridge, they have all been sold by Edward.

- Knights in service: None.

Richard Brightsoul was a rich farmer when he joined the King's army in the first war. Using the brutal tactics of guerrilla warfare, often sacreficing entire units as bait to achieve victory against a much larger force, he claimed a lot of victories and were knighted and given land at the end of the war.
His son, Edwin Brightsoul, began investing his father's money, constantly moving the money to where profits could be made. This earned him the title of Baron in return for Edwin's financial support to the war effort.
Edwin's only son and heir, who send his beloved wife to her death in childbirth, had been absent for many years, the matter covered up through Edwin's ressourceful contacts. Edwin died from illness only a year ago and as it would seem that the widdow of Richard, Elizabeth Brightsoul, were to die as the last member of the family, the lost son returns and inherit everything the family owns after Elizabeth's death only a few weeks later.

The House of Dean

- Head of the House: Velspeth Wollerton-Dean

- Notable Ancestor(s): Andreus Dean, Narcissa Dean

- Crest: Winged Serpent

- Relations with other noble families: Little is known of past relationships with other houses of Nobility. Rumoured links with the House of Remore, a Kalimdorian elite family based in Theramore.

- Lands (if any): Lands lost in the destruction of Southshore, after being mostly claimed by locals after the dissolution of the Household following the assassination of Dunia and Velorian Dean.

-Knights in Service: None - dissolute.

Velspeth Dean, more commonly known as Wollerton, remains the sole remainder of the Dean line. After fleeing Southshore after the death of her parents and the unpopular marriage to an Stormwindian farmer's son, Velspeth relinquished any claim to the Dean House, it's surrounding lands, and shares in local commerce. She took only what she could carry in gold, leaving for Stormwind. Many will have heard of the Dean Household, but will know of it's dissolution. Whilst she remains heir dissolute, she still retains title-ship
