[Iron Horde RP] Skyfury Clan

The Skyfury Clan was born after Garrosh and Grom unmasked Gul'dan's vile intentions, and pledged to give us a future of glory and conquest. Inspired by this vision we left the weak and defeated Gul'dan to form our own clan, the Skyfury Clan.
Since then the Skyfury Clan has been a loyal and proud member of the Iron Horde, always ready to fight when the drums of war start thundering.

Overview
The Skyfury Clan is an Iron Horde-aligned RP-PVP guild based in Draenor. Our aim is to create the perfect environment to role-play the blood-thirsty, warmongering orcs we've loved in Warcraft 1 and 2 and to drive away both the Alliance and the Horde from Draenor.
Other than clan-related activities like hunting and shamanism, the Iron Horde plot-line will be very important to our RP and we'll try to follow it as new patches come out (more information below). The Skyfury Clan will have its own player-made lore and customs, which we'll write more about once we know a little more about WoD.

Organization
Our organization is very simple: a chieftain (GM), his trusted advisors (officers), a few combat experts (veterans), a bunch of warriors (members) and all those who haven't proved their worth yet (initiates). As you can see, nothing fancy. That is the tip of the iceberg however, since every orc's status will be determined by his deeds and his reputation. Infact, in character ranks will be a bit more structured, with class-specific ranks and class-related activities, as well as special titles for players who have shown dedication to the guild or have accomplished impressive feats.
Committed guild members will also have the chance to grow into a prestige/hero class (blade masters, far seers etc.) through a long plot-line which will involve the entire clan and possibly other guilds, since we want people to actually earn such a status. We're still working on it, so we'll write more in the future!
Clan membership won't be limited by kinship: orcs from outside the clan will be able to join us as well. For those who are interested, the Skyfury Clan welcomes those orcs from the Azeroth Horde who are still loyal to the old way and decide to swear allegiance to the Iron Horde. Except for Death Knights, orcs of all classes are welcome.

Activities
War on Draenor
As we mentioned before, the Iron Horde plot-line will be very important to us. We want to be protagonists in the events which will lead to the opening of a dungeon or the construction of a new quest hub, and so we'll work in tandem with Alliance and Horde guilds to actually experience it. On Defias Brotherhood we've tried something similar during the Siege of Orgrimmar plot-line and it was great, we're confident we can do even better this time.
In the meantime, the Skyfury Clan will follow his own path to conquest, since we plan to get a foothold in a zone and make it ours through a series of event (gathering raw materials, building our own garrison, defeating our enemies).

Guild tournaments and Duels
Since Orcs are a very fierce race we want to offer our members plenty of chances to boast their strength in front of the entire clan. We plan to have duels, Team vs Team fights and massive brawls where the last Orc standing will be proclaimed Champion. We also look forward to challenge other guild's Champions in cross-guild tournaments.
Duels will also be very important in the clan's everyday life, as every orc is expected to defend his honor or to resolve disputes in combat. Even the current warlord himself can be challenged to a duel if people are dissatisfied with his leadership. As you can see, the idea is creating an environment where strength, honor and courage do matter.

RP-PVP and PVE
Role-play will be our main activity, but there will be room for PVP as well. As an Iron Horde-aligned guild we plan to give the Alliance and the Horde a hard time - especially the first, for simple gameplay reasons.  We want to create plenty of RP-PVP events in Draenor, in order to give the feel of a true war-torn world. We also look forward to Ashran, the new World PVP zone.
As for PVE, thanks to the new raid structure we'd like to do dungeons together when we have time - but at the moment this is not a priority, we'll write more about it in the future.

Almost a year has passed since we opened the other topic but the project is still alive and we can't wait to start when WoD comes out. Since the other topic got a bit messy eventually I've created a new one with the (almost) definitive recruitment post.

Really curious as to how this pans out, especially since it fills a much needed RP niche (the lack of Kor'kron guild during 5.4 was a real shame)!
