"In Stormwind rumors have been spread, some people have heard, some people haven't. Three murders in the Slaughtered Lamb, all in one week. First an innocent child, then a man, then a woman. The Worgen who claims to be behind these murders is eager to spread the word of his name, and his cult of ruthless killers. His name is Gendar Shevillson, and he is the leader of The Iron Vengeance, a group which can be hired to any sort of dirty work. They are specially eager to kill."

OOC: Hello there, we are The Iron Vengeance. We are RPing a guild of assassins and mercenaries with a cult-like theme. We want to give this server and our beloved lighties what is needed - a crazy cult of killers. Once the Bloodsworn Shadowblades, the guild was disbanded due to the name indicating that we're a cult of assassins which we weren't and because of the summer inactivity. We made a new guild and gave it another element of RP - we made it a cult instead of a criminal organisation that wanted to destroy the Forlorn Cartel (which was impossibruuuu)
Now we also accept warlocks, shadow priests, mages and necromancers.
Rank System :
1. Recruit - this is an OOC rank we use before the IC interview or later IC if the person doesn't immediately decide where to go.

Tier 1 ranks :

2. Caster - For those evil casters that were insane enough to join!.
3. Fighter - For straight - up fighters.
4. Shadow - For those sneaky little bastards.

Tier 2 ranks :

5. Superior Caster - Advanced caster rank. These give orders to the first caster rank.
6. Enforcer - Advanced fighter rank (we didn't know what else to call it) These give orders to the first fighter rank.
7. Assassin - A Shadow that trained hard enough to earn the reputation of a real assassin. Someone who already has it before joining the guild will earn this rank faster. These give orders to the first shadow rank.

8. Captain - Officer rank, IC it's an Assassin, an Enforcer or a Superior Caster that has proven to be good enough to be in charge of everyone. Gives orders to everyone under him.

9. Leader - Well it's two of us, IC it's the same rank but OOC Nykem has a special rank which is also called Leader.

Just one question, why would a Mercenary join you? Assassins and Mercenaries with a cult-like theme. You make it sound as Mercenaries are Evil, while they are just soldiers of fortune, sell-swords or what ever you like calling them

Yes but i have met them, and they seem more a Criminal organization then a Merc company, wanting their name to be something to be afraid of
They already have to start hiding who they are and not use the "Iron Vengeance" name in public.

Just to state this as true.. Taking two members of the Chapter of Anethion and torture them.. Does not always result in the Chapter keeping their mouth shut to "handle this on their own". *cough* Especially not with the current circumstances.

This did put your guild on the map, but I do hope your members are subtle, knows how to disguise themselves.. For.. We have torches *Pushes enter to post the post while singing loudly on "burn the witches". Not that you lot are witches but you should get the point. *the choice of song changes quickly into a more well known Imperial march"*

They are more those who value the killing more then gold by now. But i would like to see if they can stay in the shadows. Though ya, run of the mill mercs and assassins put escape and safety first, money second and pleasure third.

For example why should my char get involved, just let the chapterians get their hands dirty and when the smoke clears, sit on a nearby tree with a grin on his face.

We like killing, we have to live of something - we'll kill for money.
If nobody hires us, we'll just loot the corpses we've killed for pleasure.
Criminal organisation? Perhaps. We might involve ourselves in other things than just killing, yes. But for now we're just crazed killers.

Mercenaries and assassins with a cult theme? Perhaps I should've said we're a
cult with a mercenary theme? Baah.

Forgot to say that at first we wanted to create a mercenary company, but it wouldn't work as you already have Blades for Hire, Brotherhood of Shadows, Lionheart Company, Ravenholdt Sanctuary...so we put in a bit of a cult, made it unique instead of worshiping already known deities-which-people-like-us-worship, made us worship death. One of us claims that he hears Ner'zhul's voice in his mind? *shrugs* Who knows?
