The whole 'shit loot' thing. How long before they become like Mass Effect 3 paid for 'kit boxes' that may or may not be good?

Maybe it's just my irrational fear of Micro-transactions, but I feel that it's not too far of a step away from it.

As long as it doesn't become pay-2-win.
Neither in ME3 or in TF2 are you ever forced to actually Pay to get said items. You can still get them through other means. In ME3 you bought boxes by simply playing, TF2, well, random drops.

In ME3 your first million boxes are gonna be good because your standard weapons suck though, so until you start getting all the rares, every box is a step up. Every single one can be bought with the ingame currency as well, which is earned by playing the game. You know, testing your last box of random weapons and shit out earns you a new one, how about that? Unless you go social.bioware-retard and only use the current top dog of guns on all your classes, raging every time you get anything else, you'll be fine. The vast majority of them brings something new to the table. Hell, psychologically, you enjoy getting something you've wanted more if you have to wait and look forwards to it (that's right, instant gratification actually leaves you with less enjoyment, meaning grouchy old gamers complaining about things being too easy actually have it half-way right).

Didn't mean to sound like a mad fanboy when I started typing, just saying your argument doesn' t make much sense to me. Like, at all. And even so, the thing you're comparing them to, seems to be ... well, good.

I don't get it. That's all.

Edit: On the other hand, I'll have to get heroic PvE trinkets if I want to be on the top of my game.. Really, looking at those trinkets makes me feel sick.

All of the PvE Legendary meta-gems, the Unerring Vision of Lei-Shen and Rune of Re-Origination now have a reduced chance to proc against players. We're not crazy about hidden penalties like this, but we don't want PvP players to feel obligated to pursue these raid items in order to stay competitive.

I kind of like it. It's got something. I've always enjoyed out-of-the-box depictions of dragons though, the more diverse within the universe, the better.

I was incredibly disappointed too that they're just recycling the proto-drake model for yet another expansion. They really should put some effort into creating something new.

The head of that thing is allright. Could have used a little attention on the model for the body though.

The core x-pac did bring quite a few cool things to the table when it comes to mounts though.

Comes to think of it, more cool ground mounts should be next, not even more things to fly with.
