...Was anyone really expecting it would? Northend is stuck in time, just like the Burning Crusade zones are. The Exodar is still crashing and the Dead Scar will never be cleansed, so why should Dalaran be changing? They're still fighting the Blue Dragon Flight, after all.

Because the Kirin Tor return to the Alliance in this patch, kicking the Horde out. They have the ability to phase - you can level at 30 odd in old Theramore, why not have a phase for Dala?

Of course not, it plays a big role in the WotLK part of WoW and they'd have to redesign loads of little used content. Even if it'd be nice there are other things that are found more important to put development time into.

I think it's more likely to be an upcoming patch, why release two major things in one patch? Makes no sense!

I doubt they'll phase a part in Northrend, since their expansion continents are never linked. They might add a second dalaran to act as a 'present' one somewhere else though? If you're lucky.

Expecting too much of Blizzard, besides if there was a Dalaran change in 5.1 we have known of it BEFORE it was released anyway. Expecting it to magically appear without any sort of news about it is just stupid. It's not like the databrokers, also known as MMO-Champion and Wowhead just sit on their hands.

It's likely the Dalaran stuff will happen in 5.2, or will be activated in a few weeks (like the raids).

Annoying we didn't get it now, but it is most likely coming. They wouldn't have recorded that much dialogue for something they aren't going to actually do.

The warlock quest was also delayed to 5.2. So I'm not going to lose hope in the Dalaran scenarios/changes until then.

As Drustai said, there has been a bunch of dialogue leaks on youtube that pretty much suggested something big was going down soon. With Theramore being the motive of the Kirin Tor's change of heart, you'd think with the patch following Theramore that it would make sense to put it in now!
