So, I was struggling to share some of the news that got relased in the last twenty-four hours, and seeing as I did not want to make a thousand threads at once, and seeing as we do not really seem to have a general news thread, I decided to make one (...And another for the interview). So, whenever some important general WoW news pops up, share it here. It's nice to have it all in one spot.

Patch 5.04 will be released on the 29th of August, which will also be the day PvP season 11 ends.

It says in Thelos' link. The pvp season end one.

35 copper for a point. But before that it's no cap on honour and all gear will cost honour instead of conquest points.

I would assume that actual event won't begin until later. Just like the previous pre-expansion events didn't begin right after the patch was rolled in.

It's a matter of days. The events usually last four weeks which roughly is a month, so only a mere few days after patch it'll be rolling in. I'd imagine.

On 5.0.4 release, all Valor and Conquest get turned to Justice and Honor and the cap removed.
When MoP is released, the caps will be reinstated and any excess will be converted to 35 COPPER per point. Not much G to makes this time... unless you spend 4 weeks in BG's and Dungeons/Raids.
During the pre-expac patch, there will be no access to Arenas and Rated BG's and Raids will afford Justice points, no exception.
Of course, the item vendors will have their prices readjusted.

It has already been changed to 35 silver per point on the website, I think it was a small mistake.

There will be no cap on Honor until Mists of Pandaria is released on September 25. At that time, any Honor accrued above the 4,000-point cap will be converted into gold at a rate of 35 silver per point.

Reminder: Mists of Pandaria Cinematic Release
Don't forget that the Mists of Pandaria Cinematic will be released on August 16, shortly after 14:00 CEST / 8:00 AM EST / 5:00 AM PST! The cinematic will be played and video uploaded for everyone to see shortly after the drumming group performance is complete. The only hint we have received so far is Zarhym's tweet describing it as "Grounded".
