General Transmog / Role-play Set Help-Me Thread.

I don't think we have one of these, or haven't had one of these in some time - in any case, it's good to have one of these threads floating around.

I'm not really very good at getting good role-playing sets together. Presently, I am trying to have my Forsaken Death Knight look roughly like a Necromancer from Warcraft 3. Someone recently pointed me towards this hat, which I purchased:

Which, admittedly looks very necromancy... But the problem is, I don't know what shoulders or robes to wear it with!

It doesn't have to be plate per se, I'm quite happy with my current transmog - but I like having multiple sets to play around with.

For reference, I'm supposed to look like this:



Does anyone have some solid tips for me?

Try checking for a robe here. Depends which red one you'd like the most:

You'd not go far wrong with Silvermoon Robes or Scarlet Sindorei Robes as the robes. You might try Robes of the Royal Crown but they're quite black and white, rather than predominantly red/orange/gold.

That set Cerik linked has value on its own, though, so I'll definately be farming that one!

I'd like some sugestions too. I've been working once on this set for a warrior with plate armor:

Mainly build up from the shoulders, which don't belong to any set. Though the legs and belt don't seem to really fit always, but i haven't had much luck on finding any other combinations or so on.

Anyone got any sugestions?

I suggest getting the addon Mogit, an addon that shows pretty much every single item model you can get and gives you the name of it so you can track it down.
Can show you items in refferance to color or lvl.

I do have it, yet i still can't find anything fitting enough, turst me i searched trough it and a lot of other things. I might try again a bit later on though. Sadly the first time i couldn't find a close enough match, since of the diffrence of colors.
