[H and/or A] RP idea: freakshow

This idea just popped up in my head this morning. I think it could be fun to have a (one-time?) event based around a freakshow coming to town. People can make new chars for it or use old ones which are gathering dust in their list, or maybe they have active chars who can fulfill one of the roles. A band of freaks travels to the capital to give a performance. Perhaps they are hired by the town's registry as entertainment to celebrate a victory. Perhaps they are just testing their luck. Aside from giving a show, they can (of course) try and make scams, pickpocket and so on and so forth. After their show is done, they can either vaish (in case you want to do this just once for fun) or travel to the next town... or perhaps the people who watched have plans for you. I could participate with some of my existing chars, but I don't demand to be included, as long as I can go and see the results of my idea ^^ Roles which could be fulfilled:
the fat lady
the lady with the beard
the strong man
the man who breaths through his eyes
the ventriloquist
the sword-swallower
the firebreather
etc etc
I wonder if anyone but me thinks this could be a fun idea?

This sounds absolutely brilliant! I really hope you get an event like this organised, it would be loads of fun!

I'll just join the choir and say that it sounds magnificent!
When I read your suggestions, I just automatically began thinking which roles would suit my assortment of alts...
I don't have any especial urges, but if you find yourself one short, I can surely help (if there are no meteors).

What about things like the two-headed man? The birdman, the Elephant man and all thoose kinda "freaks"..
I can see why they would be a problem though. In a world like warcraft there are all sorts of different races and it's hard to say what's ugly and what's pretty. I mean we have orcs and trolls which are concidered sexy. If there was a green man in real life he'd fit right into a freak show
