Idea from the past.

Upcoming Expedition:
With the increasing need of support in the Alliance war campain against Hellscreams Horde the Royal Stormwind Commision has tasked the Freelancers to aid in any way they can, while keeping their eyes open for any other opportunities. As the current Director Siegmund Shadow was given this assingment and tasked to join up with a Military unit heading to the Barrens if possible while also seeking aid of mercenaries for even better safety measures. All Freelancers not tasked with any other obligations are to aid in this Expedition.
Good luck and Kings Honor.
Dates:
14th - ??? (Probably will last more than a week)
Guilds that we'll be with/(Possibly) meet/etc:
Blades for Hire, The Regiment, The Three Hammers, Wild Tempest, others
Location and Motives:
Primary: Lending aid to Alliance Military groups in the Southern Barrens and the Alliance Bases of Operations there.
Aid would include: Transportation and Escort of Supplies. Gathering Supplies withing the area, an example would be finding safe areas with fresh water, hunting if necessary and similar. Military aid. Additional Scouts...
Secondary: Keeping a eye out on key value areas like:
Checking with the excavation site at Bael Modan, collecting herbs from the area known as The overgrowth, monitoring the progress of the land healing itself after the Cataclysm, Hellscreams Horde's dark magic effects on the land...
The latter two fall under importance in ensuring safe paths and making way for supply routes for the Military and others.
((OOC: WPvP will surely be there with surely some interesting RP, for DM events probably as least as possible i am planing, the world is big let us explore it with our imagination! While slaughtering horde.))

- Hello! Been diging trough the past and found this, I belive i'd be a great idea to revive it due to the rebelion now and all the potential it still holds. Sadly the event was cancled due to ABOC at the time and i wasn't much part in the planing of the event either.

Location and Motive:
The destination is Fort Triumph in The Barrens.
- 18th.
One night spent in Darkshire to send scouting teams south into Stranglethorn before the main expedition group heads south.
- 19th.
There will be a few surprises as we enter Stranglethorn and our academics attempt to study the flora and fauna of the region. We will reside in Booty Bay for the night before taking a commissioned ship to Ratchet.
- 20th.
After which we will head to Forward Command to liaise with The Alliance soldiers there and attempt a correspondence with Northwatch Hold. Finally we will continue to Fort Triumph to refortify the supply and defense lines before hearing of an encroaching enemy from the north.
- 21st until 23rd.
We will attempt to deal with the enemies to The Alliance as this is the major goal of our time in The Barrens, there are many events planned for this segment of the expedition as it is the main goal of The Freelancers, I shall not ruin the surprise of what these events entail. We shall return via mage portal from Fort Triumph to Stormwind after completing our mission.

There is a lot of time left, even if it happens after 5.4 comes there is enough sense and goals to pull it trough i'm sure, sense is easy to find if you think.
Though i'm doing this and that (Or nothing) and am not really focused on the idea yet, but i am gauging intrest with the thread. And as history goes it has always been eaiser to join up with other people, especially in times when for some guilds activity is lower (Summer these days).
The barens is a wide area of intrest to many, raging from Alliance needing supplies to flora and fauna as well as hidden mysteries opened up even more thanks to that dragon we already forgot about.

The regiment are set to go for the barrens on Sunday the 14th, the first pvp event is on wednesday the 17th. Perhaps we can intertwine this with the Freelancers and any other intrested guild? Then use this concept for the travelling there and the rp days in the barrens to follow?

The war thing is a general thing anyway, Freelancers are joining the party in their own way. I'm sure anyone else wanting a piece of the action is well welcome to join in.
