{OOC}-{Idea} Realm Lore Storybook

Every realm has a story to tell, both from an OOC and IC perspective. And in order for the realm to move on, or in some cases learn from its mistakes. That story needs to be recorded down in some order or fashion.
Sadly this is a massive undertaking. A time consumer which even I have to admit won't be able to do alone. I personally think its a good idea to have the story of our realm recorded down somewhere on the net for us to see and learn from.

This story book of sorts would contain such things as; Major character actions that had a huge impact on the realm. Guild wars, (PvP, Drama, Alliance Vs. Alliance and Horde Vs. Horde.) and other things which would have a huge importance.

Many might say that this is impossible due to most of the people that roleplayed back in those days are gone now, having either moved on to a different realm or quit WoW all together. No is the answer to that doubt, its not impossible just a bit harder. If you start asking around I'm sure there is someone on the server/forum that knows this guy that knows this guy that is friends with this girl that roleplayed on the server a long time ago.

If enough people are interested in this sort of things then go ahead and post so in this forum. If more then 5 people are willing to put their back into this (Including myself) then I say we get started.

(And for those that want to point out our Forum and our very own Wikipedia I'd like to tell you that those two take a long time to read through in order to find valuable information and is more effort then 99.999% of people are willing to put into and in most cases it doesn't even tell you useful information.)

You mean like the time when we invaded Alterac to capture a queen in order to prevent a new kingdom from rising there? Or the time when we IC'ly besieged Orgrimmar and went through the raid in an IC process?

Yeah, those are IC events made possible by roleplayers. Another thing is the drama caused by OOC clashes, all though a lot of people would rather have left that behind its always good to record those kind of events for future lessons. (And besides, I also love the idea of making an OOC Great Book of Grudges.)

Hmm, if you absolutely wish to have OOC drama as well, I reckon that old thread of ours where we opposed Cerik & Co would be a good start. I've definetly learned a lesson from that stuff: Never let the asshats rule, or they will try to break you.

Hey, I'm already ahead of the game on that one. I have my own little Dammaz Kron for all the grudges I have assembled.

On topic note, it would be cool to actually see a "realm history" post somewhere which is quite clear on things that have happened IC, would've helped me a lot when I was new.
