Kingdom of Lordaeron is a military zone and a contested territory. Due to that the law is imposed on the highest-ranking military officer of the allied force stationed in its territory (Highlord), who is the military governor and the head of the government.

Martial Law is imposed throughout the territory of Kingdom of Lordaeron.

Any trade or civil traffic without a special warrant reaching further than Chillwind Point (from the South), Quel’lithien (from the North), The Bulwark (from the West), and Tyr’s Hand (from the East) is forbidden.

Only the settlements of: Hearthglen, Tyr’s Hand, Light’s Hope, Andorhal are not subjected to the suspension of civil law, civil rights, habeas corpus, and the application of military law or military justice to civilians.
In the settlements mentioned, the local Lord is responsible for handling the judicial cases.

Civilians defying martial law may be subjected to Court-martial.







Citizen Rights

• A Citizen has the right to call for a trial against another. If such a thing is called for it will require evidence and witnesses regarding it all for such a trial to work.
  
• A Citizen has the right to claim sanctuary in any holy places.
  
• A Citizen has the right to remain silent when questioned on a crime if answering will force them to incriminate themselves.
  
• A Citizen has the right to disown their own relatives to avoid incrimination of themselves.
  
• A Citizen has the right to seek residence in another settlement.
  
• A Citizen has the right to marriage with whom he or she sees fit.
  

Prisoner Rights

• A prisoner is guilty until proven innocent.
  
• A prisoner is not eligible for any rights of a refugee, mercenary or citizen.
  
• A prisoner is the responsibility of the state, their ‘expenses’ will be taken care of by the state.
  
• A prisoner does not have the right to speak unless spoken to, to speak without permission is an offensive of arrogance.
  
• A prisoner is eligible only to the Right of Life unless sentenced to die in the eyes of the Law.
  
• A prisoner is not eligible to be moved to their home capital unless an Ambassador of that capital appeals to the Leading Monarch.
  

Refugee Rights

• Refugees have the right to claim sanctuary, assuming their home nation is allied or neutral with the Kingdom.
  
• Refugees have the right to be hired to work and be paid.
  
• Refugees have the right to medical attention.
  

Mercenary Rights

• A mercenary has the right to break the contract with at any time they wish unless their contract sets a serving time.
  
• A mercenary has the right to a wage negotiated by their contract.
  
• A mercenary has the right to claim citizenship, this is done when they are recognised as an honorary citizen by the Lord of the land.
  

Service Crime which encompasses all voluntary and negligent disobedience of orders and regulations,

Guard Crime encompassing any misdeed during guarding duty, absence without leave, desertion, diverse forms of disobedience against superiors, misuses of a position as superior and behaviour unsuitable for military person.
