Rhia was wounded, bad enough that she couldn't serve in the front line against all of the forces from beyond, which infuriated her, yet she could walk about the temple where she was 'recovering'. It was a crazy idea, because even with her wounds she felt that she could still cull the lives of many demons yet before she fell. However, the temple guards and the priestesses prevented her from leaving. Instead, she attempted to satisfy herself by learning what she could from the priestesses.

Currently, she was sitting down on the sparkling stone floor with her legs crossed, and with her eyes closed, and with her hands resting open by her knees. She had been this way for hours, in a basic white robe, praying to Elune in hope of getting a sign of some kind. Anything from a flash of light, to her hands glowing with the light. Even just sensing her presence would be nice. All she had earned though was a sore rear, an aching back and an irritated state of mind.

"Elune doesn't always show her presence when begged. Even her most devout are tired after her presence flows through them."

Rhia opened her eyes sharply, looking strait over to the elder priestess that was sitting down on a stone bench, watching her with her legs crossed. She wore a similar robe, yet she also had armour clad over her, and two curved blades hung by her side whilst a bow was attached to her back. She had seen these warrior priestesses before on the battlefield, yet even now it was a sight to see the woman whose hair was a radiant white, flowing past her shoulders and across her chest and back, almost down to her waist in places. However, Rhia just ground her teeth together in frustration at her failure of calling upon Elune's grace.

"Why is that then?" She asked, her voice harsh and bitter, unlike that of the graceful warrior priestesses.

"Elune can not grant her power to every person that requests it. Only her most devout and those who are in grave need of her aid can call upon her aid."

"If she is so powerful, then surely anyone could call upon her grace at any time?"

"That is not so, otherwise people would abuse her power."

"Then those people should be killed."

"Is killing always the right path though?"

There was a brief pause.

"Of course."

The priestess sighed.

"You have a lot more work to do before you'll become a fully fledged priestess I'm afraid Rhia."

She shot up onto her feet, glaring at the woman.

"We don't have years to wait around for Elune to give us a briefest glimpse of her awesomeness. Demons press us from all sides now, threatening to break through and slaughter us all at any moment. If Elune won't help us in our war, if she's refusing to aid us in this battle, then why do we beg her for help, train new people to worship the false god."

The priestess stiffed up slightly, preparing herself to retaliate. However, she quickly calmed down, instead looking at Rhia with a smile, though her eyes still showed some anger.

"I think it's best if you go and get some rest now." She said simply. Rhia nodded, going back into the area that she directed her to. As she sat down upon her small bunk, she began going back to her shadowed thoughts on all the gruesome ways she could kill demons.
