Are there cows in Azeroth? Empty Are there cows in Azeroth?

I like cows. The farmers is wow, however seem to prefer boars, horses, sheep, turkeys and chickens. This has annoyed me for some time. Then it dawned on me. Cows may not exist. I know, I know. We have milk-items, but couldn't goat milk explain those as well? Could it be that we have Tauren, yaks, but no actual cows? So here's my questions:

1. Are there any actual cows seen in game?
2. Does other evidence of the existence of cows exist?
3. Does other installations of the warcraft universe feature cows?

Thanks for all feedback. We really need to know this.

Beautiful. I spent almost a minute searching wowhead before posting. The certain knowledge that cows exist might help my cooking-related RP a bit.

But still.. there aren't dedicated cow farms as far as I know. In Elwynn they walk around free and the farmers there are more interested in boars.

Aren't there cows with cowbells on them though? Or am I misremembering now?

Edit: As for boars, I imagine that being a throwback to how the farms in the old Warcraft games always had the sounds of pigs when clicked, being bacon-farms!
