I decided to make this topic for everyone having small problems finding roleplaying guids, or just make it quicker for some other.
This is the place you will find only good sources of information, they will often contain links leading to other sides including topics on other forums, might even be Argent dawn (Which I doubt I will ever find something useful on.. Unless I em looking for ERP and/or a good laugh.)

A general compilation of guides is completely different. Seriously, you just nitpick in every thread to find something to bitch about.

Raenmar, dont' bring your vendetta here. I complained about your threads because they were pointlessly filling up sections of the forum in the same way I've pointed out that Martha has done the same by making threads which have already been made. It's not being a moderator, I just like a clean forum to scan through because threads which are original get lost otherwise.

I am only saying what someone else will observe soon enough! The two threads are exactly the same. One is just stickied and already has some info on it.

I don't have any "vendetta". It seems more like you have one against Thor, considering that you complain about every thread he posts.

A compilation of class RP guides is completely different from a compilation of guides covering subjects related to the game in general.

If you think a thread is off-topic then report it, instead of filling it with shit until it gets locked. Let the mods decide if it breaks the rules.

Okay, going to deal quickly with this, Raenmar stay quiet, Vaell can stop looking at every topic I make.

Look at this one, http://www.defiasrp.com/t2651-guides-help. Then you look at mine, I take in every thing, Classes, races, combat and tactics that can be used at the field.

I promises that this won't be another useless topic of mine. End of discussion and good night Mister Vaell and Raenmar.

If you look at the 2nd page of it, you'll notice there are more, just the post hasn't been updated so those need a bit of a push, it does have more, just read the whole topic.

I think i'd be best to keep it in the sticky and of course -updated- rather than making another thread.

It's still good that someone take the initiative to create least a similar thread. Maybe unsticky the old one and replace this as the Guide page.

Don't let the negative posts make you down, Thorvald. You did good.

Just include the guides that aren't only about classes to.

I agree with Skarain. Don't listen to the haters, ignore them and move on.

I listen to them and I read them, but instead of laying down in the corner and gloom down I use it as encouragement and prove them wrong, that this page can be as useful as any other!

I think the Lex vs Eph game of threads was much more entaining for everyone than the poor replacement vaell vs raen. You gotta try harder you two.

Ok, as this seems to be a consistent misunderstanding on this forum.

I don't hate on anyone. I wasn't jumping in the thread to derail it with lies and slander, I was pointing out that this thread already exists. This has been a consistent theme with your posting and each time you haven't used the search function! I don't bust your balls for the fun of it - I do enjoy drama on the forums but I won't go out of my way to create it - I'm just pointing out something which is nothing more than a bit of common sense.

Now, I'm no psychologist but it's obvious you want to have some form of responsibility/admiration (not slating, it's a good thing) from a thread on the forum. You'd like to be the brains behind a cool and consistently used thread, I get that. So make something original! I'm not saying stop posting, I'm saying it'd be better to stop posting old content and come up with something fresh.

Please limit the listing of my magic guide to just the Mage category. Though it touches on other classes, it is focused on the classic Mage.

There are a lot of guides about, dec's link has a few about general classes, but you can be almost anything with some. Best you check out some on the Battle.net forums, lots of great guides there if we're already making a list of guides might as well throw in those written there.

Also atm you got how to roleplay a dwarf under worgen XD

But yeah there are a ton of guides.. So best to try not get too overwelmed by linking everything!

Nice idea. But there are better places for this. And AFAIK the original thread (Julia's one, linked by others above) is still not "dead", just lacking "recent" updates (the last posts are actually 2012, your "Sat Mar 05, 2011 9:18 am" is an exaggeration).

Plus, to be brutally honest, as a guide it needs to be clearer and better presented. I'm a stickler when it comes to "informative posts" or "guides" they should be QA'd and written in clear type and proper English (I understand some people aren't English, and even English speakers sometimes fail at this. But that's what advice and PMs etc. are for I guess!)

I commend the effort, but this won't be stickied. Maybe butchered and used for updating the original sticky!
