Tonight the Blood Wolves snuck into Orgrimmar from the mountains overlooking it.

Using a combination of speed, trickery and brutality the Wolves battled their way to the Orgrimmar Skyway, capturing the furthest zeppelin tower (Thunder Bluff / Warsong Hold tower) and barricading it against enemy attacks.

The Wolves hos a valuable piece of Orgrimmar, but luckily for them the Kor'Kron are too busy dealing with the Alliance and main Rebellion to deal with a single captured tower.
All the Kor'Kron can do for now is surround the tower and keep up a barrage of spells and guns, which are being answered in turn by the Blood Wolves!

And so, the Siege of Orgrimmar begins!

While all Kor'kron eyes are on the encroaching Darkspear and Alliance forces marching up on the main gates, the small fries move into position to do their part to liberate the Horde capital from opression!

The Northern Rebellion is moving under the Valley of Honor, through a series of secret tunnels, to take the Kor'kron by surprise.

The Shatterskull Marauders have set their sights on the western gate and the valley of spirits that lies beyond.

The Blood Wolf Clan have already made their move, striking covertly at the very heart of Orgrimmar's commerce!

I haven't been involved in any RP yet since coming back to WoW, but from what I saw earlier in Org it seems the siege is certainly beginning. Where about should those of us fleeing Orgrimmar be heading? Especially if we were looking for some RP Wink I'd assume IC there would be word around about where would be safer to head to, either down to Razor Hill and the Darkspear Rebellion forces, or up north to the Northern Rebellion.

The Northern Rebellion has struck!

the rebelloin has moved into the Hall of the Brave. The Kor'kron begins setting up siege camps outside of the fortress. We're now inside of Orgrimmar, but under siege!
Nasty tip for anyone playing a Kor'kron loyalist:
Stand outside of the hall and shout nasty things to the traitors inside. Wink

The Shatterskull Marauders have successfully liberated the Valley of Spirits from oppression!

Last night the Marauders moved on Orgrimmar's West Gate.

Through clever tactics, blood, sweat, magic and steal, the Marauders managed to force a retreat on the Kor'kron oppressors watching the Darkspear and Goblin residents. The regiment is far from destroyed, and is likely to have either retreated to aid the defense of the main gate, or is preparing a counter-attack on the Valley of Spirits.

The fight, however, is far from over. The Kor'kron still hold the majority of the city, and only the gods know what horrors they have birthed in the caverns underneath.

Updated map of Orgrimmar:

The State of the Valley of Spirits:

- The towers where cleared of Kor'kron gunmen by a powerful arcane strike, that resulted in a large surge of mana in the area and a barrage of bright purple flashes in the night sky.
- The west gate has been crudely repaired to provide some security.
- The wooden walkways and bridges above show signs of fires.
- All exits out of the city have been blocked, the tunnel to the Valley of Wisdom by a big boulder, the path to the Valley of Strength blocked by the lowered gate.
- The Marauders' main base of operation, or the "officer lounge", will be the stone building in the northern part of the valley.
- All Darkspear buildings have been liberated.
- There is suspicion of Kor'kron loyal goblins.
- Treat the Kor'kron grunts you see in the valley as Marauder Auxiliary forces, or simply ignore them.

Advertising how a group of guilds will choose to end their RP events based on this storyline will only give them alot of yelling and other stuff cause not everyone agrees on when Garrosh goes down. Doing it like this along with the guilds they can actually have civil communications with seems to be the very best way to avoid drama.

And i know i'm creating drama by pointing this out. I love irony.

The Northern Rebellion has taken over the Hall of the Brave!

Last Friday, The Northern Rebellion broke through a prison coplex underneath the Valley of Honour, leading into the Hall of the Brave. There, they rescued prisoners of Garroshs' regime and continued to invade and claim the Hall of the Brave!

Rumor travels through citizens and Kor'kron alike that a group of Dark-shaman, tasked with bringing down the fury of earth onto the Rebels, were found dead in the Cleft of Shadow, other than their corpses and a few guards gone missing, there are no trace of the murderers.

Last night however, the Kor'kron attempted to purge the Rebellion from the Hall of the Brave, using siege equipment such as catapults, demolishers, sappers and a glaive thrower. While they managed to break down the gate and enter the Halls, and come up upon their walls as well - Their forces were eventually pushed out, and the glaive thrower sabotaged after having fired its first barrage.

As the battle raged, a song was sung upon the walls of the besieged fortress.

Spoiler:

Once the battle was over, and the Kor'kron who assaulted either dead or dying - The Hall of the Brave still stood, although ragged and sporting several new holes.

The State of the Valley of Honour
-Both of the Gates leading from the Drag into the Valley of Honour has been closed and fortified.
-The Ramparts above the gates between the Valley of Honour and the Drag is heavily manned by Kor'kron elite troops, under the leadership of the ruthless High Warlord Gorefist - Known to some for ordering the disbanding of the Volunteer Forces during the Eastern Kalimdor Campaign.
-The Kor'kron, although their siege of the Hall of the Brave has been broken, are still in control of the Valley of Honour. Rumor has it that they've taken some of the less favored civillians in the Valley hostage.
-The majority of the Valley of Honours active seige weaponry has been sabotaged. Their reserves are being prepared.
-The Gate leading into Azshara has been closed, and is heavily guarded by Kor'kron.
-A War Zeppelin has been spotted making its way towards the Valley of Honour from the sea.
-The Water supply in the Valley of Honour is currently suffering from poisening, a few Kor'kron has been dispatched to remove the bloated corpses of their comrads from the lake running through the city.
-The Northern Rebellion headquaters are now the Halls of the Brave (Warrior trainer) in the Valley of Honour.
-NPCs within the Halls of the Brave can be treated as random members of the Rebellion.

The Blood Wolf Clan have taken Orgrimmar's Skyway!

Tonight the Blood Wolf Clan pushed the Kor'Kron off the Skyway! Through clever tactics and powerful magic the Kor'Kron defenders were slaughtered, though the Blood Wolves paid a heavy price indeed.

The Blood Wolves now hold both towers and have severed access from the other ledges in Orgrimmar and from the ground below.

The state of the Skyway

The Thunder Bluff / Warsong Hold zeppelin tower is half burnt and heavily damaged.
The Undercity / Grom'Grol zeppelin tower is unharmed but occupied by the Blood Wolves.
The wind rider stables were captured, including several wyverns who are now happy to work with the Blood Wolves.
All of the bridges connecting the Skyway to the rest of Orgrimmar's ledges were burnt and otherwise broken, preventing Kor'Kron reinforcements from reaching the Skyway.
All of the elevators were broken, preventing access from the ground. Except for the elevator to the Valley of Wisdom which instead had its controls damaged, meaning it can only be raised and lowered from above.

The "Siege of Orgrimmar" Conclave gathered last night and discussed several problems presented by General Bloodmark.

The following actions will be taken:

Quelling the Dark Shaman.
The shamans of the rebellion will gather to perform a mass ritual, transcending into the spirit world to free as many elemental spirits from Dark Shaman domination as they can.

Thinking with Portals.
An experiment will be held to test a whole new way of delivering long-distance destruction. The rebellion will attempt to fire a siege weapon through a portal, and observe the results.

Death from above.
A great big scary dangerous airship with extreme destructive power is in Kor'kron hands, and could rain down death and destruction at any moment. It has been decided that it would be most advantageous to the rebellion to take this flying fortress rather then destroy it.

It's flight patterns will be observed, and from the information gathered, and infiltration plan will be made.

- The Blood Wolf Clan has extended it's reach over the skyways! They have cut the bridges connecting the main high-rise with the other rises of Orgrimmar, and they have disabled the mechanical lifts.

The skies belong to the wolves now.

- The Darkspear Rebellion has breached the font gates! Darkspear and Alliance forces have started poring into the Valley of Strength, fighting over control of it.

Siege map Update!

- The Darkspear Rebellion claims victory over most of the Valley of Strength, and is now fighting urban warfare in the narrow drag, trying to gain entrance into the Cleft of Shadows.

- The Northern Rebellion is in constant struggle over control of the Valley of Honor, slowly gaining ground, fighting Kor'kron loyalists every step of the way. Good news, though. The Wyvern's Tail inn is now in rebellion hands! Rejoice!

- The Shatterskull Marauders have managed to keep the Valley of Spirits free of Kor'kron oppression, dealing with near constant assaults and bombardments. The gate connecting the Valley of Spirits with the Valley of Strength has been broken during a Kor'kron counter-attack.

- The Blood Wolf Clan keeps their hold over the skyways, and have been doing hit-and-run attacks to various Kor'kron targets below, never staying anywhere long.

- The Hand of Damnation has taken to the goblin slums, and are working on something sinister.

Kor'kron barricades are now shown on the map in the Valley of Strength and the Drag. Their locations are copied from the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], and are to be considered nearly impenetrable.

One additional Barricade can be seen in the tunnel between the Valley of Spirits and the Valley of Wisdom. This is a natural barricade put in place by the Dark Shaman during the Shatterskull Marauders' invasion of the Valley of Spirits.

On Tuesday the 1st of October there was a Shaman Moot. Shamans of rebellious organisations gathered together to talk about the Dark Shaman, and their effect on the spirits and the environment.

In spite of strong demands and repeated threats from the Kor'kron in Ogrimmar, the goblins of Bilgewater Harbour have yet to supply any additional naval reinforcements to fend off the encroaching Alliance Fleet.

Most believe that the Cartel are deliberately stalling to see which side comes out on top, although some reports suggest that severe storm winds and unnatural ocean currents are preventing any sane or intelligent captain from launching beyond Azshara’s bay. What could be going on?

FYI, Fyffe, Bilgewater Harbor was treated as a kor'kron stronghold (since it was the home of the entire kor'kron navy) during 5.3, and eventually taken by the rebels during a sequence of events. You may want to talk to Rargnasha about that.
