[H+A] Rebellion!

So Whats this? Well, this will be the official status and notification thread for the player made part of the Horde rebellion, stating who, what, where, when, how and why! With the upcoming events in patch 5.3 and eventually 5.4, its important for the Horde player base to have a point of reference on how things are progressing, a source of event times and locations, as well any other details they may be hunting for.

This thread will be updated regularly, using the simple listing below to state what is currently going on! If you feel i've left anything out or put an incorrect fact, give me a message!

Status

Headquarters: Kargathia Keep - The player made Rebel forces have taken control of all Horde outposts in ashenvale and are using the warsong lumber camps their headquarters.

Rebelling (Openly) Factions - The Shatterskull Marauders, Orcs of the Red Blade, sin Belore, Kingdom of Lordaeron, The silvermoon council - these are the groups fighting the kor'kron and Hellscream openly so far.

How can I Get Involved? - With such a large plot line, it couldn't be more simple, you don't even have to move with the main horde forces! Just contact me here on this forum, or in game, and we can make room to get you involved as an individual or guild. Better yet, you won't be constrained by whats to come as each guild or group, or persons... can and will be going off on their own at times to achieve different objectives along the way to Orgrimmar.

What sort of events will be happening? - A wide variety, often likely to use the Bloodied blades rolling system for DM'ing out particular situations. As agreed all participating, folks will be taking it in turns to 'play the bad guys', so everyone gets to take a shot at them! Whats more, everything from scouting, sabotage, raiding, training, social, a tournament and the eventual siege itself will take place. keep a close eye to the status section on this post to stay aware of upcoming events. If you want to join in on any listed, just give me a nudge and i can kick out calendar invites!

How will this end? - Only blizzard know that so far, as patch 5.4 remains very much under wraps. But we will be striving to stay flexible and avoid directly attacking/reaching orgrimmar until said patch arrives, otherwise, who knows!

So it begins, the great battle of our time. Definitely pumped for this campaign. 5.3 has great promise lore wise.

I, for one, welcome our new troll overlords.

Will also be an IC letter (dispersed to many people) that will act as an IC invitation/heads-up/summons/call-to-arms, and that will be posted tonight in the IC section of this forum.

Zjorda will be absolutely involved in this, though she will in no way be representing the Thorns IC. If anything, she may have to keep her identity secret and hope that her superiors never find out about her involvement.

Anyways, whatever the outcome, the Arr-Pee will be interesting. Count me in.

Just wrote a late night story about some of todays excellent RP, leading up to the comming campaign!
... And no, not that kind of late night story.

Rarngasha would grunt as he stood in the inn. It was late, and most had gone to sleep or elsewhere. To the sound of snoring from his fellow orcs, he looked over his map of Kalimdor.

The pieces in the puzzle was beginning to fall into place, and new things had happent that he hadn't even hoped for. Through their elven allies, an order of forsaken had offered to join forces with them should the Banshee queen decide to throw her lot into the rebellion.

He'd grunt as he'd run a hand through the fur of his wolf mask.
It was rare that he had met any forsaken that wasn't of the 'Death to the living' type, which was what unnerved him about this 'Doctor' and his Kingdom of Lordaeron.. He seemed clever enough to atleast not be obviously evil right up into his face.. But wether or not he was an allie that could be trusted..
The forsaken had little to gain by betraying them to the Kor'kron, and more to gain to see the Kor'kron fall, so for now - They'd be trusted. And if he was still alive after the dust of war had settled, it'd be interesting to see if they could be proper allies.

As he thought of proper allies, his mind went to the trolls and the tauren.. Both of them would be busy.. And the elves.. The elves had surprised him. He knew that they could be depended on, but they had gone out of their way for making a good gesture.
He laughed quietly to himself, it felt odd to admit it, but he had missed the days of having the blood elves beside him. He absentmindly struck his fingers over the rough drawings of Kalimdor, while his mind went to Northend. Where he, along with an elf of all people, had held a gate together against over-whelming forces, until reinforcements arrived.

And as he was thinking of overwhelming forces.. A certain group of mercenaries came to his mind. His eyes went back to his map. They had their fair share of problems living side by side, few could denie that. But in every campaign where they had fought alongside, the alliance had been crushed at every turn.
He'd then mutter quietly to himself.
"Well brother.. We have gathered our allies.. Let's see what you've got planned."
He'd fold together his map, and put it into one of his belt satchels as he looked around at the sleeping orcs in the tavern. The comming battles would decide the fate of the Horde.. But surrounded by friends and family, and knowing that their brothers and sisters in arms were gathering out around in Azeroth.. Rargnasha felt ready for the bloodshed that'd be about to unfold.

Unathi, Utawba, bumja. They will be present at next weeks event and hopefully giving the darkspear guild the boot up the bum it needs.

I think I'll come on Jahzeem then, instead of Alph.

It's a bit of a shame Garrosh only has Goblin mercenaries. I can see Teeru simply not caring for which side he works for, as long as it pays.
