Didn't seem that bad when i stopped by there.
Me and Nifty fought him a wee bit, then his priest friend came along and we all had some fun fights... Got stomped as fuck, since im a shit hunter, and i have no clue how to deal with disc priests.... But the Rp seemed to go on fine while we stood around doing /wave and such inbetween our small skirmishes outside town.

Hmmm.... Skarain will yet need to make an appearance in Booty Bay, once i find the time from all my other stuff. Its nice to see it active.

Other than that, its a fact that we live in a RP-PvP server. All my characters have PvP gear, and my RP set is always what i can Transmog over my PvP gear. Well its each and ones decision if they want to be able to defend themselves against Gankers.

Not every RPer has 90s let alone PVP top quality 90 gear... :/

To be fair it can take a fair while to get to 90 if you have a busy life. Baseline starter PvP gear isn't hard or time consuming though.

I don't own Pandaria either so that's hard for me atm and I wouldn't have the time to pvp alot atm.

I don't have loads of spare time, yet I finished getting to 90 before I prioritized major interguild RP events (like the current Barrens campaign /cough). Just a matter of taking time to work towards a goal to further your own and your guilds ends, instead of getting oneshotted everytime someone decides to fart in your direction. It doesn't take THAT long to get to 90 nowadays. I started to level my rogue again yesterday from 85, he's 87 atm. So it goes quickly with a bit of effort.

You could get from 85 to 90 in 9 hours if you played non-stop or 12 hours if you did it slightly relaxed in the start of MoP. Now the xp needed is decreased so it goes even faster.

As for gear, just buy the 458 PvP set & then do some arenas, you can get nearly full conquest in 2 days if you play a lot during that time. 1 victory in the arena counts for 180 conquest points. Do like 13 games and you can get a chest piece, and that's a major upgrade.

That does still sound like a lot of time to me and a little boring to grind. I don't think we should be expected to do so.

It's an RP-PvP realm, not a pure RP realm. I'd agree with you if it was the latter. It's up to yourself whether you do it or not, but it's your own fault if you get ganked.

I would say it was common courtesy to gank a person only once. It's happened when questing before so I don't mind as much. It's just camping which I find rude.

For some it may be, but it's still a PvP realm and outside of guilds that don't allow it it's written in the terms of use that it's allowed. You only have yourself to blame if you're low level and/or undergeared and it happens.

Exactly what the dude above me states. Which is why I keep nagging at people to practice and gear up to be able to defend themselves from such crap, since if we did, we wouldn't have to "rely" on townguards that doesn't even do their jobs well enough to actually defend you. TTH is one of the few RP guilds that actually fended off several ganker attacks without getting our RP interrupted in any way (and putting up videos about it at the same time).

While the creator of the vid and I have our differences, he is a bloody good moviemaker and PvP'er, thus I link this. (Reason why I'm not battling there is because I was busy tracking them for the guild, the lightblue text is me).

Sorta agree low levels can have fun even sometimes in PvP like i guess some yesterday when Grim's lot attacked, though for people who even lose while trying to gank, but are determined to stay as long as they can kill that lvl 60. Yep, diffrent story.

Just keep in mind.
In the eyes of people who are level 90 and put some effort in for gear. You've got zero right to complain unless you have the same. Most of the folk who run around gank RPers are crap at what they do. At the end of Cata when I finnished of Muz's life and was active, I had firelands era PvP gear and won 1v2 and 1v3s against people in latest pvp gear (Was people from that mithsomething guild). So it is really not like the people who come a knocking are generally tough nuts to crack.
