- Spoiler:
[Vrachos]: Singing for the Light bring great peace, yes? Is good.
Vrachos smiles brilliantly, baring his fangs.
[Sidward]: Praising the light is very good when done in song, yes!
[Vrachos]: Yes!
Vrachos claps excitedly for Beladon.
[Vrachos]: I do not know human songs, no, no. But I want hear, very curious.
[Beladon]: Shall we begin then?
[Jeremias]: Er..perhaps save that for mass.
[Jeremias]: Do you want to call the other Disciples in?
[Vrachos]: Not be hasty, yes. Open meeting with prayer and song to Light. Is good. Make heart in pieces.
[Beladon]: I believe they wish to guard the entrance of the abbey, but I can go ask.
Vrachos nods firmly.
You nod at Beladon.
Beladon takes his cane
Vrachos looks around with a smile, observing his surroundings.
Vrachos follows the lead of the plait glass with his finger, appriciating the crafsmenship.
Vrachos kneels down.
Irys nods at Doric.
[Lini]: Guard duty, hmm?
Susande looks at Lini.
[Irys]: Welcome, brother.
Vrachos runs a hand over the bench and gives t a firm push, testing it's stregth.
[Susande]: Uh-huh.
Susande smiles.
[Lini]: Well, good luck
[Doric]: ..Evening, I'm a bit late..
[Susande]: Heh, thanks.. yoyu too.
Vrachos mumbles: "Hm. Good, good. Stong!"
Irys smiles at Lini.
[Jeremias]: It's fine. We'll start now and send those that can't make it a letter of what was discussed.
[Irys]: Welcome, sister.
[Beladon]: Right lets spread out around the table so we can all see one another.
[Lini]: Thank you ma'am
Vrachos smiles at you.
Beladon pulls his hood down and ruffles his messy hair.
[Jeremias]: For those that haven't seen me before, my name is Jeremias Blackwell and I'm a High Priest of the Church of the Holy Light.
Vrachos smiles.
[Jeremias]: This will be the first of a few Meetings to allow the Church and the faithful to meet to discuss happenings within the city and the world.
Vrachos claps excitedly.
[Jeremias]: Any questions will be answered after I have announced what we will be discussing, and any-one else who wishes to speak on it, can do then.
[Vrachos]: Under the stood. Yes.
Vrachos nods.
Susande smiles at Samanthia.
[Jeremias]: This meeting is to discuss the secretive new laws that are being imposed on the city within the council. These laws are permits for those that use the Dark arts, allowing them to train and preach within the city as long as they carry this permit.
Susande gestures for Araiel to be quiet and find a spot by the table.
Vrachos frowns a little.
[Jeremias]: We do not get to vote on them, we do not get a chance to refuse them. Instead we must accept every whim of this council without question.
[Jeremias]: These men and women are meant to be the chosen to speak on behalf of the King, but time and time again do they play mind and power games within their circle of nobility.
Jeremias sighs and shakes his head.
[Jeremias]: Luckily, one of those members has a strong connection to the Light and the Church and he has alerted us these secretive meetings.
Maelmoor nods
Sidward applauds at you. Bravo!
[Jeremias]: Of course, if you couldn't guess already it was Lord Maelmoor Lightbringer..
Jeremias smirks.
Emiraude smiles at Maelmoor.
Sidward gasps.
Vrachos scratches his bald head, making a sound like the scraping of stone. He doesn't really seem to get what's going on.
Phaedria smiles at Maelmoor.
[Jeremias]: Firstly allow me to explain what Dark Arts are. It includes Fel magic, Divine Shadow, Necromancy and Demonology, those people that surpass the basics of Arcane.
[Sidward]: Necromancy?!
Emiraude nods at Sidward.
[Jeremias]: When the demons brought damnation to Azeroth, they also carried their own brand of magic to the world. Fel and Shadow magic. It is in the blood of demons and has strong ties to the Nether..
[Sidward]: But how..? Isn't necromancy seens as a taboo?
Vrachos looks at Sidward.
[Sidward]: I mean.. None of us here would want our loved ones raised as a zombie!
[Jeremias]: Hm..questions afterwards, Sir..
[Vrachos]: You forget the knight sof ebon, no?
[Jeremias]: Any-way..as I was saying..
[Emiraude]: Please contiue so we can all hear more about this.
Emiraude smiles at you.
You smile at Emiraude.
[Vrachos]: Yes, yes, sorry making, Jerry friend! Continue!
[Jeremias]: These are not people that are simply using another weapon in the war, these are people that must be dark minded, must be corrupt to wield such a weapon. They have to want the desire to do bad, evil and dabble in foul things to learn this magic.
Vrachos makes some encouraging guestures, displaying a generous smile.
Emiraude nods at you.
Beladon nods in agreement
Phaedria seems to remember somethings and then nods in agreement.
[Jeremias]: All of them claim to know what they are getting into, They know about the seductive whisper, of the power and the strength of the Nether. They know of the addiction. They say it will not happen to them; they will not fall to evil, like so many before..
Susande nods at Keldion.
[Jeremias]: We just have to remember what happened in the past. The Twilights hammer, the Orcs.
Jeremias lifts his hand to rub his beard.
[Jeremias]: These people have an insatiable lust to delve into the secrets of the dark arts and have driven themselves to keep a permanent connection to the Burning Legion and the Nether for their own gains.
[Jeremias]: They reject the Light and its Virtues to pursue this downward spiral to damnation.
Susande looks at Vardrek.
Vardrek lets out a hacking cough.
Vrachos scratches his head.
[Vardrek]: Sirs their is a lad outside named John Silverweave requestin entry...he seems tae believe tha' this is a topic about arcane magic.....seems tae also believe tha' light is arcane....
Vardrek growls menacingly.
Vrachos lets out a hearty chuckle.
Susande frowns.
[Jeremias]: Send him away, we will speak to him at the next meeting.
[Susande]: <low> The... minister?
[Vrachos]: Sound like interesting man!
[Beladon]: Hrmph...considering he is a practiced warlock...I object to his presence at this sacred meeting.
[Vardrek]: Very well.
Beladon frowns
Vrachos laughs.
[Vardrek]: We shall send 'im away sah.
[Jeremias]: Hm..where was I, oh yes...they reject the Light..
[Jeremias]: And because they reject the Light, they do not understand its connection. They only see it as the enemy in the way of their power gain.
Vrachos scratches his head.
[Vrachos]: This is what warlock say?
[Jeremias]: It has been argued that if we don't welcome these people with open arms, then we are sending them on their path to evil. That the Church will be to blame for turning them onto the dark path.
Vrachos nods at you.
Irys frowns.
[Jeremias]: It's easier to turn the blame onto us rather than them seeing it for themselves. They made the choice, they were lured into false promises of power by the dark arts. They are responsible for their choices in life, not the Church.
[Jeremias]: They say it is easier to fall the path of power, than it is to work for the path of good and be rewarded with the Divine Light.
Vrachos lets out a hearty chuckle.
[Jeremias]: This brings us to second excuse made to allow them in our City.
[Jeremias]: That since the King allows them to help in the war, it means we should allow them to practice in our city, to preach. To show others of the foul power that they embrace. Easily influencing a fast path to power..
[Jeremias]: The king has not welcomed them into the Alliance like he has done the Death Knights. These people are vaguely acceptable in war and are still distrusted. These people are rare and not in significant numbers.
[Jeremias]: Why would the council allow them within the city when the King has not announced that we should welcome them with open arms as he did the Death Knights..
Vrachos smiles.
[Jeremias]: Lastly, It has come to light that some of the Ministers are having a gun held to their head or being pushed due to corruptive powers. It is because of this that I suggest all council members and anyone who works for them must submit to a corruption test..
Phaedria raises a hand..
[Jeremias]: Two are already positive for carrying fel blood within. We just have to remember what happened with the Scarlets..the Chapter of Anethion, who were corrupt from within.
[Jeremias]: Now that I have explained, myself, the High Chaplain and Minister Maelmoor are open to questions on the subject.
[Vrachos]: Ah! So talking begin?
Vrachos points at Phaedria.
[Jeremias]: Yes, but raise your hand first. I think the Lady Draenei had hers up first.
[Vrachos]: Yes yes.
You nod at Phaedria.
Maelmoor raises his hand
Emiraude raises her hand too
[Phaedria]: Who would be the one who would conduc these "corruption" tests?
Vrachos lets out a hearty chuckle.
[Jeremias]: Two Priests within the Church, preferably those with the title of High Priest.
[Jeremias]: These are the most experienced Priests.
[Phaedria]: Very well, thank you
You nod at Maelmoor.
[Maelmoor]: I have some additional information to share
[Jeremias]: Do continue then.
Vrachos nods.
[Maelmoor]: First of all, a letter from Minister Rihani Deephaven, shall I read it?
[Beladon]: Please
Maelmoor nods
Maelmoor starts reading from the letter
Maelmoor starts reading from the letter
[Maelmoor]: As a firm believer in the teachings of the Church I am appalled by the widespread practice of the Dark Arts, ranging from the necromantic Death Knights, to demon-summoning warlocks and the fallen shadow priests.
[Maelmoor]: However, I am also a councillor of His Majesty and I have sworn an oath to obey the King. His Majesty Varian wishes to see the practitioners of the Dark Arts in his army, it falls to the Council to reconcile Stormwind legislation with the Royal Decree.
[Maelmoor]: It would cause a logistic nightmare if a Practitioner has to surrender all that upon entering the Kingdom, and those items are then deliver to the military facility in some independent escort – a soldier must carry his belongings with him.
Maelmoor pauses for a moment before he continues to read
[Maelmoor]: In order to stay in shape and to learn to work with their unit, and other units, the Practitioners must be able to practice their magic and train alongside their minions within the Kingdom (as this is where unit may be deployed for training)
[Maelmoor]: A blanket ban on practice and theoretical study would be logically inconsistent with that demand, it is therefore best to face the necessity precisely without giving up an extra inch.Dark Arts can be practised in military facilities and training grounds
Emiraude frowns.
[Maelmoor]: Practice in spare time is encouraged for all soldiers, even when training grounds are occupied by other units, this has driven us to designate the Slaughtered Lamb enclave as a permitted area. Since reading is not dangerous
[Maelmoor]: theoretical studies can be performed anywhere, although the use of Permitted Areas is encouraged.
[Maelmoor]: Considering soldiers learn from one another, prohibition on teaching the Dark Arts to fellow licensed users is unsustainable. The permission to teach the Dark Arts to other licensed users is to be seen exactly in this light
Vrachos laughs.
[Maelmoor]: At last, in times of war the military necessity trumps all else, the full use of the Dark Arts can be authorised by military authorities. We cannot afford to treat every instantiation of that necessity as a proposal for legal change to be considered.
[Maelmoor]: by the Council. In practice it may mean that the commanding officer of a Practitioner may give an order that breaks the limitations of the License, as long as it does not violate the Article 40 of the Military Codex.
[Maelmoor]: Supervision of the military warlocks falls to their commanding officers, the chain of command and military inspectors. If you ever suspect any soldier of malpractice, you must contact his or her commanding officer and bring the complaint up the chain
[Maelmoor]: of command if you are dissatisfied with the handling.
[Maelmoor]: Another consequence of allowing the Dark Artists to fight for the Alliance is the passive role we play in encouraging their practice, which brings with it ethical obligations.
[Maelmoor]: Should those soldiers retire from the military after their service, or due to injury, we may not simply discard them as tools no longer needed and are morally obliged to protect those veterans from harassment and vigilantee justice.
[Maelmoor]: Due to the effects of Fel and Shadow Corruption, the withdrawal may be lethal. That is the reason the license is kept (under several adjustments) after retirement, transforming them from military to civilian practitioners
[Maelmoor]: Such civilians will only be allowed practice in the permitted areas, and strictly within the Law and should not cause any trouble to the society at large. It is our hope that the Church would reach out to those veterans and help them cope with the
[Maelmoor]: addiction and in the end Redeem them from it.
[Maelmoor]: Signed by Rihani Deephaven, Minister of Internal Affairs
Vrachos shrugs. Who knows?
[Vrachos]: Sound logical.
Silfarix frowns.
[Silfarix]: That was ridiculous.
[Maelmoor]: What should be remembered here..
Vrachos looks at Silfarix.
[Vrachos]: Why?
[Maelmoor]: ...is that Minister Deephaven was threatened by this SI:7 agent, or so he claims to be
[Jeremias]: The man with the gun to their heads, as I mentioned.
[Maelmoor]: He is opposing the Church and by threats and other means tries to corrupt and effect the Councillors
Maelmoor nods
Jeremias nods at Maelmoor.
[Maelmoor]: Just one more thing
[Jeremias]: So the question is, are they working for the King or for this Agent?
Vrachos sighs. A deep, rumbing sound, like a landslide.
[Beladon]: A servant of the king does not threaten or bribe people...those are the ways of deception and cowards.
[Maelmoor]: So, the votes will fall five to one in favour of these new laws
[Maelmoor]: So I did put forward Sir Beladons idea
[Vrachos]: Vrachos not understand what is new. He seen the warlock in army since coming here.
[Meklun]: Does Stormwind not have laws in place to stop power hungry individuals on the council going out of control?
[Maelmoor]: To make the Cathedral and as we agreed yesterday Northshire to be ruled by the Church, as per laws
[Vrachos]: What is new?
[Maelmoor]: I didn't put it forth as a suggestion, I said it was a requirement from the Church
Beladon nods.
[Maelmoor]: So at least holy ground will be a sanctuary from this madness
[Jeremias]: No laws at the moment to stop these power hungry individuals. I'm relieved you've managed that, Lord Maelmoor.
[Vrachos]: Holy ground always a sanctuary.
[Silfarix]: But you can't let the rest of the city fall prey to it...
Sidward raises his hand.
[Emiraude]: Me, Elric and Lady Irys had similar thoughts few weeks back.
[Maelmoor]: It must still be voted upon but I have good hopes it will be voted in our favour actually
[Maelmoor]: Our plan is then to in step two claim this for the Cathedral Square
[Maelmoor]: and in the third step for the graveyard
Beladon nods again
Beladon peers at Sidward searchingly.
[Maelmoor]: That would be all from me, if you have any questions please let me know
Vrachos looks at Maelmoor.
[Vrachos]: If you don't allow these... Dark casters of the alliance on holy ground, how are they to repend? To learn of Light's loving ways?
[Sidward]: If necromancers are running free and doing as they please we should put more guards round graveyards!
[Jeremias]: Do you remember where their training grounds will be? I know one was the Slaughtered Lamb..
You look at Sidward.
[Beladon]: We will be patrolling the graveyards regularly anyway
Beladon nods at Sidward.
[Doric]: ..I think there are more than just on in the Lamb.
Doric one*
[Maelmoor]: Two was mentioned
[Vrachos]: Militairy grounds.
[Vrachos]: Like the guard's building, hm?
[Beladon]: Desecration of the graves is still a criminal charge, as is wielding these dark arts outside the specified training area's.
[Doric]: I've seen a group of people up to five-six enter the basement of the Lamb.
Beladon nods at Sidward.
Vrachos frowns, starting to look a little agitated.
[Jeremias]: Who knows what diabolical experiments they are creating in these hidden areas.
[Silfarix]: I'd like to say something about the letter you read.
[Maelmoor]: You can also look at the Dark Arts License and License Application both are in the Stormwind Council section in the Royal Library for anyone to read
[Beladon]: I believe he had a question
Sidward raises his hand, like he wants something said, waving abit with his fingers.
Vrachos looks at Silfarix.
Beladon points at Vrachos.
Vrachos nods at Silfarix.
[Vrachos]: Let her go first.
Vrachos points at Silfarix.
You smile at Vrachos.
[Silfarix]: It's more of a warning... I'd bet my horns that whoever made her write such a thing answers to the burning legion.
[Vrachos]: Then you say, the king awnsers to he burning legion.
[Jeremias]: It does sound like it. But we won't know until we enforce the corruption test-..
You peer at Vrachos searchingly.
[Jeremias]: The King has not announced we welcome them into our city..like he did the Death Knights.
Silfarix nods.
[Beladon]: The king permits these heretics to fight on the battlefields...but it is the council who are letting them set up home in our grand city, allowing them free reign.
[Vrachos]: They arrived late to the party, hm? When we landed, warlocks where already a part of the army.
Emiraude raises hand again
[Beladon]: Yes, the army, far from home...
[Jeremias]: Yes, the Orcs brought the magic with them. We all remember what happened after that..
[Vrachos]: From what I have observed, they have always been here, and done their part for this alliance.
[Jeremias]: Not always.
[Jeremias]: Its fairly new to allow them in the army.
[Vrachos]: But why is this happening now, this conversation?
Silfarix stares disapprovingly at Vrachos.
[Vrachos]: I do not understand.
[Jeremias]: I'm surprised you are so forgiving, considering what the 'magic' did to your home land.
Vrachos frowns.
Susande peers at Vrachos searchingly.
[Jeremias]: Any-way...any more questions?
[Vrachos]: You misunderstand me. I am trying to place myself in the shoes of our leadership.
[Emiraude]: Not a question, but...
[Lini]: Those are not your shoes to fill
[Beladon]: As we have said, yes they have served for years, outside the city, away from our homes and people...but the recent changes are iniviting heresy into our streets.
Phaedria frowns with disappointment at Sidward.
Beladon looks at Vrachos.
[Vrachos]: Your-- Our King, wants-- Or needs, dark casters in his armies.
[Vrachos]: We can either accept that, or leave.
[Beladon]: But not in our homes...
[Beladon]: The light damns those who delve into the dark arts.
[Vrachos]: Are you not the boss of your own home?
[Vrachos]: The Light's workings are not as simple as your virtues make it out to be.
Vrachos smiles.
You frown with disappointment at Vrachos.
[Lini]: I hear a certain warchief accepted dark casters as well and look where the Horde is now
[Beladon]: Anyway, we're getting off topic, these changes are happening even if we oppose it.
Vrachos nods.
[Vrachos]: Of course.
[Emiraude]: Ahem.
[Vrachos]: The real queston is-- How do we respond to them?
Emiraude raises her hand third time
[Beladon]: Let someone else ask.
[Beladon]: Questions*
[Jeremias]: Yes, Priestess?
Vrachos lets out a long, drawn-out sigh.
Beladon looks at Emiraude and smiles
You nod at Emiraude.
Emiraude smiles at you.
Maelmoor listens intently to Emiraude.
[Emiraude]: As said before, Counsila and those that work for them, should be tested. I have started to work for Minister Rihani, in city's healt department as consultant.
[Vrachos]: Should you then, not test your king first?
[Vrachos]: This is his law.
[Jeremias]: When he himself, announces it. Again, like the Death Knights.
[Emiraude]: As things stand, I suggest I am tested soon as I have nothing against tests and I could be good excample how to measure things.
You nod at Emiraude.
[Jeremias]: Perhaps you and myself can perform these tests?
[Valestrion]: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen
[Valestrion]: My apologies for being late
[Beladon]: Would work well I think.
[Emiraude]: Yes, after I am tested myself first.
Doric nods at Valestrion.
[Jeremias]: Not a problem, Sir Valestrion.
[Beladon]: Evening Sir Drayke.
[Emiraude]: As healt consultant it would be easy for me to order the tests out.
Meklun raises his hand.
Sidward jumps up and down, waving his hand.
[Jeremias]: That sounds like a good start. Yes, sir? Then the Gnome.
Vrachos hangs his head a little, and shakes it softly in disapproval.
You nod at Meklun.
Keldion smiles at Susande.
[Vrachos]: You are so obsessed with the details, you fail to see the bigger picture. So worried about your home, you do not see the world.
Maelmoor sighs at Vrachos.
[Beladon]: So you think we just lay down our beliefs?
Vrachos laughs.
[Beladon]: Years of suffering to these heretics and their greed?
[Meklun]: If these tests are to be done, it is best the council does not know until they are being tested. Making some sort of appointment will only let them prepare.
[Beladon]: All for the sake of a war?
[Vrachos]: Beliefs? This is not about your faith in the Light. This is about politics, at a small scale.
[Jeremias]: Very true. I will let Sister Whitewing and Lord Maelmoor to handle that part.
[Vrachos]: If your faith so thin, it wavers when you see a darkling?
[Meklun]: Also, what happens to those we find corruption in?
[Emiraude]: Yes, perhaps some sort of "ramdom" test selection would be in order.
Susande frowns with disappointment at Vrachos.
Maelmoor nods
Susande glances towards Beladon and Jeremias.
[Jeremias]: Well, if all are tested positive. Then its very suspicious, if only a few then they must be cleansed or removed.
[Emiraude]: Very good question? We need to list them, but then what?
Vrachos hangs his head a little, and shakes it softly in disapproval.
You nod at Meklun.
Keldion smiles at Susande.
[Vrachos]: You are so obsessed with the details, you fail to see the bigger picture. So worried about your home, you do not see the world.
Maelmoor sighs at Vrachos.

[Jeremias]: Well, if all are tested positive. Then its very suspicious, if only a few then they must be cleansed or removed.
[Emiraude]: Very good question? We need to list them, but then what?
[Sidward]: We are now accepting necromancy and dark magic!
Beladon nods at Sidward.
[Sidward]: The SHADOWS!
[Vrachos]: Again, nothing new.
[Lini]: Wrong
[Sidward]: And do you know what may lie behind this?
[Emiraude]: What is new, is that they force hands of ministers.
[Sidward]: What imoral acts have made these lands tainted?
[Sidward]: What is ACCEPTED within the kingdom under the light?!
[Beladon]: And they force us to accept that which we have been sworn to destroy for generations...
Beladon nods at Emiraude.
[Sidward]: THat homosexuality is seen as something NOT evil!
Vrachos looks at Sidward and covers his face with his palm.
You blink at Sidward.
Vrachos pinches the bridge of his nose and sighs deeply, a sound of a rumbling mountain.
[Sidward]: Homosexuality and the shadows walk hand in hand within the fall of morals!
[Beladon]: Perhaps the homo-sexuality can be left till next time.
[Sidward]: No!
[Jeremias]: Erm...I don't think the same gender, loving each other. Is the same as murdering and corrupting minds-...
[Sidward]: THe churchneeds to deal with it!
Beladon nods at you.
Meklun lets out a long, drawn-out sigh.
Jeremias scratches his head, looking a little puzzled by the speech.
Susande shuffles a bit on the spot.
[Maelmoor]: We have more important matters to deal with..
[Jeremias]: Perhaps we shall...address that next time..
[Meklun]: Is this what you have been waiting to say this whole time, gnome?
Emiraude looks supriced and bit disturbed
[Sidward]: Back when I used to live in Loardaeron many priesta ASWELL as some paladins of the Silver Hand was outspoken agaisnt homosexuality!
Vrachos shakes his head softly in dissaproval, still pinching the bridge of his nose.
[Beladon]: Aye, next time we may have less worrying matters to attend to.
[Sidward]: By accepting homosexulity, we are accepting the use of shadows, fel, necromancy AND sex with demons!
Emiraude rolls her eyes
[Jeremias]: Ah..hmm...we will make this a topic at our next meeting, Mister Gnome..
[Beladon]: Enough, I wont allow this meeting to become a mockery...if you have a concern, do some research and present your finds next time.
Beladon lets out a long, drawn-out sigh.
[Emiraude]: Oh, one thought came to me...
[Emiraude]: May I speak?
[Sidward]: This is clearly just an idea that we can try to work after.
You nod at Emiraude.
[Vrachos]: Should I just escort the little one from the building?
[Sidward]: Tellme, what IS the Cathedrals stance on homosexuality?
[Jeremias]: Its a topic for the next meeting, now please. Allow our Sister to speak.
[Sidward]: OH!
Susande shuffles a bit on the spot.
[Maelmoor]: We have more important matters to deal with..
[Jeremias]: Perhaps we shall...address that next time..

[Jeremias]: Its a topic for the next meeting, now please. Allow our Sister to speak.
[Sidward]: OH!
[Emiraude]: As ministers are being harrashed and intimidated, I think we should try to protect them. Starting from those who we know to favor the light.
[Vrachos]: Do you honestly think the glorious light has an opinion on something as INSIGNIFICANT as homosexuality, little one?
[Sidward]: One more thing!
Jeremias opens his mouth to speak before looking back to the Gnome and shutting it, sighing instead.
[Sidward]: As pretty much the only barber within the city of Stormwind I can now tell you that all servents of the church will get FREE HAIRCUTS and STYLINGS of thier hairs!
Vrachos lets out a boisterous guffaw!
Vrachos runs a hand over his bald head.
[Emiraude]: As it seems, Minister Rihani is treathned and she does favor the Light, I think we should try to help her and also protect sir Maelmoor...So no "accidents" fall on them.
[Sidward]: I also grow hairs, beards and reshape horns, dreanei friend.
[Phaedria]: sounds awefully painfull..
[Sidward]: Not at all!
[Vrachos]: I am fine as is.
[Meklun]: He's just here to moan about homosexuality and advertise his business, I seriously doubt we have time for this...
[Phaedria]: have you tried having horns reshaped yourself, gnome?
[Emiraude]: And sir, I know you are cable to defend yourself, it's just that I worry that our opponents might try something nasty. And it's clear Rihani isn't doing this volunterely either.
Valestrion raises his hand slightly
[Sidward]: I am a true follower of the light and I come here to tell my fellow believers that I give them free services because they are all apart of the church and work for it very hard.
[Silfarix]: Weren't the guards we passed at the door here to drag away people like this gnome?
[Jeremias]: Quiet please! We must remain on topic!
Beladon nods
Susande would be ready if orders would be given, no worries!
[Vrachos]: That ship sailed when the gnome was allowed to speak.
Vrachos laughs.
[Beladon]: One more outburst about homo-sexuality and hair cuts, and I'll have you removed, right?
Beladon frowns with disappointment at Sidward.
[Valestrion]: Before you go that far, Sir Beladon....
[Jeremias]: What were you saying, Sister?
[Sidward]: I have spoken my mind already. No need to be upset, hun.
[Beladon]: Sister Emiraude was talking I believe.
You look at Emiraude.
[Emiraude]: That we protect Maelmoor and try to speak with minister Rihani, if she would agree on protection, to feel more secure and vote as her consious sees right.
[Emiraude]: Not as she is treathned to vote.
Vrachos turns around on his hooves sharply.
[Beladon]: This problem affects the whole council I believe.
[Emiraude]: As I am working for her, I could meet and speak with her.
[Jeremias]: Can do. Since the Disciples and Lightbringers are next door to each other, I'm sure the protection will be strong.
[Emiraude]: It does, but we need to find out who are with us, who are neutral and who against us.
[Valestrion]: Actually, Sister, I am not sure you would be the right person
You look at Valestrion.
[Emiraude]: And when we know more who stands where, we can make our own moves.
[Emiraude]: Ah.
[Valestrion]: I think there are a couple of issues that we must address
[Valestrion]: Look around this room and tell me what you see
[Emiraude]: Of course some one else can. And as I said, I want to be tested.
[Emiraude]: I see men and women of Light.
[Valestrion]: How many?
[Emiraude]: ...Around dozen...
[Valestrion]: Would you say that is a lot of people to attend a meeting such as this?
[Emiraude]: ...No.
[Valestrion]: Exactly
[Beladon]: Yet, I see Disciples and Lightbringers...
[Valestrion]: And nearly all of us are either Disciples or Holy Lightbringers
[Beladon]: Two of the most prominent religious orders of the city.
[Valestrion]: Aye, Sir Beladon, so you would expect us to be here
[Beladon]: Two that have stood in the city for many long, long years...
[Valestrion]: Perhaps there were more earlier, but I have seen only two people outside our Orders who seem to be interested in the subject
Emiraude nods at Valestrion.
[Emiraude]: Yes, sadly.
[Maelmoor]: Our duty is to educate and inform the citizens
[Valestrion]: Exactly, my Lord Maelmoor
[Valestrion]: And it seems that we are not doing that as well as we should
[Valestrion]: Or there would be more people here who care about what is happening
[Valestrion]: So that is one issue we must address
[Jeremias]: Indeed, this is the first of many meetings to discuss what we can do to inform the citizens.
[Valestrion]: There is a second issue, equally important
[Emiraude]: WFew weeks ago, me, Irys and Elric did discuss about making more co-operation about education and such, it seems good time to start planing.
Jeremias nods to Emiraude and looks back to Valestrion.
[Valestrion]: Brother Jeremias....
[Valestrion]: For what is this the definition?
[Valestrion]: Attempts to undermine the rule of His Majesty King Varian Wrynn trough undermining, exploiting or violently opposing his officials or institutions.
Valestrion listens intently to you.
[Jeremias]: The dark arts licence and law has not been made public-...his officials have a gun to their heads, if the council are indeed being influenced, then who will stop them?
[Valestrion]: What is that definition, Brother Jeremias?
[Beladon]: Sir Drayke, get to the point.
[Valestrion]: You are Chief Magistrate
[Beladon]: Anyway...
[Valestrion]: I am simply saying that we a plan for each of the two issues
[Valestrion]: One for dealing with the matter of treason
[Beladon]: Back on topic please, the purpose of this meeting.
Beladon frowns.
[Valestrion]: And another for dealing with the lack of concern within the city, that the way of the Light may be under threat
[Jeremias]: Indeed. Firstly, for educating the public on the dark arts and secondly, to internally deal with this treason.
Beladon nods at you.
Emiraude nods at you.
[Valestrion]: I am not so sure, Brother Jeremias
[Valestrion]: I think you are getting too complicated
[Beladon]: Any-way.
[Valestrion]: This issue is more general than a specific lack of understanding regarding the Dark Arts
[Valestrion]: It is a lack of devotion to the Light
[Jeremias]: Two objectives are hardly complicated-...yes, that too.
[Beladon]: Ffor the past fortnight, Lord Maelmoor, Brother Jeremias and Myself have been meeting and talking with the ministers to have church laws imposed on church grounds, this meeting is supposed to be focused on that matter. Church imposed law on church grounds
[Valestrion]: And the rest of the city doesn't matter?
[Beladon]: It does...
[Valestrion]: Why have different rules for the Cathedral when those rules should apply throughout the city?
[Beladon]: But there is little we can do to stop laws being changed...our priority is ensuring the purity of sacred ground.
[Maelmoor]: We have to achieve what is possible
[Beladon]: Because we do not make the laws Sir Drayke...and the council is turning it's back on our pleas about the corruption of the dark arts.
[Valestrion]: No, we do not make the laws, but the Minister of Justice is an ex-Disciple
[Maelmoor]: This is the first step and an important one
[Valestrion]: The Council makes the laws
[Beladon]: So we establish a beach head in the city, and we work with all our hearts to expand that jurisidiction.
[Beladon]: Bah!
[Valestrion]: And there are at least three members of the Council who should be devoted to the Light
[Beladon]: Elegost has a fel taint!
[Beladon]: The man cannot be trusted.
[Valestrion]: Perhaps we should be educating the Council
[Maelmoor]: Lord Dawnweaver is lost I am afraid
You nod at Valestrion.
[Valestrion]: If he is tainted, he should not be a Councillor
[Valestrion]: Here is another definition for you
[Jeremias]: Agreed, Sir Valestrion..
[Beladon]: I thought that too, but it seems it's permitted by council ruling...
[Valestrion]: Being part of or aiding an organization or worshipping a being or power declared an enemy of the Church of Holy Light.
[Maelmoor]: We all agree what we would prefer but we must also face the reality and have a solid plan how to achieve things, if we run into something in a reckless way we will never achieve much
[Valestrion]: That is the definition of Cultism under the law
[Jeremias]: It is, but they seem to be above this law. The Minister of Magic is a Warlock.
[Beladon]: Indeed, but...it seems the dark arts are given favour of the light.
[Valestrion]: Well, there is no law that says that ministers are above the law
[Maelmoor]: But we must have a case that would stand strong in the court
[Valestrion]: I say that if a minister is breaking the law, he should be arrested for it
[Beladon]: And if we try, we face the shields and Regiment.
[Valestrion]: Really?
[Beladon]: We are the minority Sir Drayke.
[Valestrion]: You think the Blazing Shields would stand against us?
[Jeremias]: I agree with Lord Maelmoor, we must have a strong case first.
[Valestrion]: I do not think so
[Valestrion]: In fact, Commander Thilliath said to me only yesterday "We have your backs"
[Jeremias]: Testing for corruption, proves their guilt.
[Valestrion]: But aye, you are right, Brother Jeremias
[Valestrion]: We must have a strong case
[Maelmoor]: While I agree with your opinions Chaplain General we can never gain anything without being clever, if we rather act step by step, build up strong cases and educate the people we stand a much better chance
Beladon nods at Maelmoor.
[Beladon]: And rebuild the faith.
[Valestrion]: I agree that we must do those things
Zilyana nods politely at Susan, then takes a seat in the corner.
Susande nods and gestures at Zilyana to stay quiet and find a spot at the table.
[Maelmoor]: While we all would like to make changes to the better quickly we must also look what is the best long-term
[Valestrion]: I do not agree that we should surrender to making the Cathedral an exception
Susande .. or in the corner of course!
[Beladon]: We have no choice Sir Drayke.
[Valestrion]: Of course we do
[Beladon]: It's the best weeks of debate and discussion will get us.
[Maelmoor]: It is holy ground or nothing
[Beladon]: If we ask for too much...
[Beladon]: They will ignore us in the future.
[Valestrion]: Then let us ask for nothing
[Maelmoor]: This would be a solid first step
[Beladon]: And let heretics march around the cathedral?
[Maelmoor]: That would benefit us all
[Beladon]: Let them wander in with there unholy texts and weapons?
[Maelmoor]: Let us not waste this opportunity
[Maelmoor]: Let me explain quickly?
[Maelmoor]: If I may?
You nod at Maelmoor.
Beladon nods at Maelmoor.
[Valestrion]: If we allow the Cathedral to be treated differently, we will be accepting that the Light does not rule in Stormwind
[Valestrion]: We will, in effect, be saying that it is alright to treat the rest of the city differently
[Maelmoor]: So, the proposal regarding the laws that we spoke about will be voted through, with the votes five to one, may we like it or not
[Maelmoor]: At the moment we have one person who votes in favour of the Light, so to say, that is myself
Beladon nods at Maelmoor.
[Beladon]: May the light protect you as you stand in defiance of this madness.
Beladon bows his head slightly
[Maelmoor]: I said that if the laws are to go through the Church demands to set the laws for the Cathedral and now also Northshire
[Maelmoor]: They agreed this was a fair request
[Maelmoor]: So this is really our moment to take this first step, in a couple of weeks it might be a lost opportunity
[Maelmoor]: I do not think it's an ideal situation but if we shall achieve something at least, we have to do it in this way
Beladon nods again.
[Maelmoor]: Just to explain it, thank you
[Jeremias]: So, before we bring this meeting to a closure. Any-one else have anything they wish to add?
[Beladon]: Through which we can protect the sanctity and purity of the blessed cathedral and Northshire, two of the most symbolic places of the light for our people.
Jeremias peer's around the table for any waving hands.
Zilyana waves her hand.
Beladon peers at Zilyana searchingly.
[Beladon]: Yes?
[Beladon]: Come forth.
Beladon beckons Zilyana over.
Beladon pulls a stool over for her to stand on, so all can see
Zilyana hops on the stool.
[Zilyana]: Sorry I was late t all this, but I gotta add this! We need to keep the Cathedral nice and taint free! We don't go shovelling about any of the meanies hovels and stuff, that's they're place, these are our places!
[Zilyana]: I travelled here just to say that.
Zilyana nods rapidly.
Beladon nods at Zilyana.
[Zilyana]: Needs to be kept safe, must be kept safe, no mean casters there!
Sidward applauds at Zilyana. Bravo!
[Sidward]: Indeed, aswell as homosexuals!
[Beladon]: Exactly...these laws will permit these...license...holders to walk around with dark artifacts...all because they are considred tools of the trade for these heretics.
Jeremias smiles and nods.
[Beladon]: Do we want people entering the cathedral carrying such blasphemy?
Zilyana shakes her head in a "no" manner rather comically.
Zilyana hops off the stool and returns to her corner.
[Maelmoor]: No and if the Church got their own laws for Holy Ground we can indeed act in a way we can't today
[Beladon]: Because unless we stand united and be heard, they will permit it, and we will be treated as the criminals!
[Beladon]: Aye! That is our hope.
Beladon nods.
Jeremias sighs and nods to Beladon.
[Valestrion]: So who will write these laws?
[Jeremias]: Rihani Deephaven will be I imagine..
[Valestrion]: No, you misunderstand me, I hope
[Jeremias]: The Church laws or the Dark arts laws?
[Valestrion]: Who will write the laws for the Holy areas
[Jeremias]: Yes, Rihani will be..
[Maelmoor]: We will
[Beladon]: Well, she will get them set in stone, however, i believe she wants Lord Maelmoor, Myself and High priest jeremias to agree on them...
[Jeremias]: Are you sure about that?
[Valestrion]: The laws are worthless if one of the Councillors voting to change the laws is going to write them
[Maelmoor]: We will have the Kings Law but we can make our own additions
[Valestrion]: It must be the Church that writes the laws
[Beladon]: She will not be deciding them Sir Drayke.
[Valestrion]: Good
[Maelmoor]: This new addition will not be part of it
[Beladon]: Indeed.
[Valestrion]: And who may administer the laws?
[Valestrion]: May the Holy Lightbringers arrest people under Church law?
[Valestrion]: May the Regiment?
[Beladon]: Of course they can, the regiment and shields cannot though.
[Beladon]: Of course, they may still enforce kings law.
[Beladon]: Correct?
Beladon looks at Maelmoor.
[Maelmoor]: That is how I understood it yes
[Maelmoor]: We will sit down to agree on the details
Beladon nods at Maelmoor.
[Valestrion]: And will the Disciples withdraw from administering the King's law?
[Beladon]: Of course not.
[Beladon]: If we someone comiting assault, we'll arrest them and hand them over to the regiment.
[Beladon]: We wont be going out our way to do it though, we'll have more focus on the church sanctioned areas and spreading the word of the light.
[Jeremias]: Any-way, shall we bring this meeting to a close and discuss our targets?
Maelmoor nods.
[Beladon]: Besides we have a second guard regiment now, so the city is well covered in that respect, the Disciples will only be suppliment, same as always.
[Beladon]: And yes
[Valestrion]: The Shields have not been confirmed in that role yet, I believe
[Jeremias]: For one, I expect every-one to start educating the citizens on the Light and the Dark arts. The next meeting will allow us a public debate with the Arcane meetings..
[Jeremias]: This is so both sides of the coin can address their problems and voice their opinions to each other.
[Beladon]: We must it clear though, no matter what they say, we shall never yield to the dark arts.
[Jeremias]: If we can at least educate each other, its a step in the right direction. We are of the Alliance afterall, under the same king. If we have to accept them as neighbours then its best to be on good terms..
You nod at Beladon.
[Jeremias]: That meeting will be on the 5th of next month, permitting the Minister of Magic doesn't refuse..
[Jeremias]: So prepare your questions before the day.
Maelmoor nods
Beladon nods.
[Jeremias]: Secondly, Lord Maelmoor, you will be in charge of the internal investigations into the Councils corruption. So I will let you lead that with whomever you desire suitable.
[Jeremias]: Hopefully after the 5th, we will be more aware of whats going on and how we can stop it for the third meeting.
Maelmoor nods.
[Jeremias]: Anything you wish to add to that, Lord Maelmoor?
[Maelmoor]: We will leave to Exodar by the 1st of next month thou
[Maelmoor]: For two weeks
Jeremias nods.
[Beladon]: If you need our help Lord Maelmoor, please do not hesitate to speak with the Disciples.
Beladon smiles at Maelmoor.
[Maelmoor]: I will keep you updated and ask for help when required
[Maelmoor]: Thank you
[Jeremias]: I will speak to the Minister of Magic to arrange the next meeting, so I will let you know in a letter.
[Beladon]: I have already asked a few of my men to keep their ears to the ground and eyes sharp.
Beladon nods at you.
[Jeremias]: Anything you wish to add, High Chaplain?
[Beladon]: Nothing except that I need to speak with Lord Maelmoor and yourself when we are finished.
You nod at Beladon.
Beladon smiles at you.
[Jeremias]: Unless any-one has something else to say, then I declare the meeting closed.
[Maelmoor]: Light be with you all
[Jeremias]: If any of you need to reach me, I will be around the Cathedral.

Not sure, but I imagine they are since they are affiliated with the Alliance. But the main reason Draenei's are being called to it is the fact they have more knowledge about the Dark magic's than humans do.

I am afraid I won't be able to make it anyhow, which is a tragedy, since this is precisely the sort of thing Huruma would attend.

This may start half an hour later (9pm) If it clashes with too many people. Those who can't come will be given a newsletter about what was talked about and conclusions.

Would it be acceptable if my character sends in his opinion trough mail? I think his opinion could be valuable, since he's a paladin in the army fighting alongside warlocks.

Re: [A] Meetings of the Church of Holy Light.
I wonder if Ray Hairjammer should show up... As he hates same sex marriages and think its a disgrace to the light he might go there and try to convince the church that homosexual activities is infact works of shadow and dark magic and MUST BE DISPELLED!

Mhm, tricky....I think I might be able to go to the second meeting of the arcane minds, and then move on down to this. Though indeed talk of magic does often take a while. But I'll try and be at both, might be late to the Light discussion, though. So many magic things in one day!

Re: [A] Meetings of the Church of Holy Light.
Dear brother Jeremias,
It gladdens my heart that the Church is taking unified action against the Dark Arts. The King has given us his command, and the Council has to conform to the wishes of His Majesty and make the best out of the situation.
If you desire, I will meet with you and discuss with you the current form of the draft of the Dark Arts legislation. Church opinion would be appreciated, and I do not doubt that you have questions or simply want an explanation.
As liaison to the Church it is not my place to intrude upon Church meetings and discussions, however I request your permission to attend and observe the meeting on the 22nd either in person or through my secretary.
I am available on Friday evening past 19:00 and the whole Saturday, if you want to set up a meeting.
Light bless you,
Rihani Deephaven,
Trial Minister of Internal Affairs

Re: [A] Meetings of the Church of Holy Light.
The following letter is send in an Alliance blue envelop, sealed with a royal lion. It is addressed to High Priest Jeremias Blackwell of the Church of Holy Light.
The soul who dwells in loving-kindness,
who trusts in the Naaru's Teaching,
attains to that state of peace,
the blissful fading away of conditioned things.
By the Naaru, may it be so.
Most esteemed brothers and sisters of the Light,
My name is Huruma. As a Vindicator of the Naaru's Divine Law I have been defending the Faithful for several of hundreds of your human generations. I have brought the Light to dozens of worlds forgotten and have slayed the Legion's infernal pawn darklings on dozens more. I do not say this to brag or intimate – my achievements are the achievements of the Light alone; “No deeds I've done nor thoughts I've thought, save as thy servant, I am naught” - I say these things to establish my credibility, so that you may not discard the following without giving it the serious consideration it is due. My opinion is no doubt a controversial one. I am of the opinion that it is the Light's Will that warlocks, death knights and shadowmongers; i.e darklings, should be allowed to fight and die for the Grand Alliance, and that in denying them this penitent cause, we inflict great injury upon the Light.
Regretfully, I will not be able to defend this point of view in person, for at the time of writing and the time of the appointed meeting I am and will be stationed at the Alliance vanguard in Northrend. As a chaplain of the Alliance and a private in the 157th 'Wild Tempest' company I am almost always fighting at the front, alongside warlocks, death knights and shadow priests that are the present topic of discussion.
Let me begin my argument by saying that there cannot be any doubt that these sinful aberrations are an affront to the Light. In the Army of Light prophesied by the Prophet Velen the Divine, there will be no place for those dark of heart. Indeed, no Believer could possibly condone the dark practices these darklings undertake, and during the Final War, they will have been purged from our ranks – however, that joyous day has not yet come.
Let us take a moment to reflect on the nature of the darklings serving the Alliance military. What is the Alliance warlock like? Most darklings I have fought alongside with consider themselves effective martyrs. They consider themselves courageous for using means harmful to their soul and Being to defend a righteous cause. They suffer the damning touch of Fel to defend their beloved country and people. They will endure any pain and corruption to their soul, as long as it is in service to a cause they deem just. It is a great tragedy, then, that in service of this just cause they reach for the temptation of Fel; for, as we all know, those who think they master demons, are truly mastered by them, and the Demon Lords of the Legion do not give their power away freely. Often these darklings consider themselves, just like the Children of the Light, enemies of the Legion; are they not taming their minions and stealing their flame to use against them? Tricking otherwise noble and courageous mortals into thinking they fight against – rather than for – the Legion is the oldest and vilest trick the Deciever plays on us.
When this false and poisonous belief of mastery (rather than being mastered) over demons has taken a firm root in the darkling's soul, no amount of preaching will purge it – on the contrary, a preaching of the Light's virtues and a rejection of the darkling's damning means will more often than not reinforce and strengthen the darkling's mistaken martyrdom: in making their dark arts darker, we make them even more heroic for suffering its taint. We make them into heroes.
This sensation of martyrdom, taken in itself, is a Lightgiven sentiment. The Light whispers to every heart, subtly urging it to do selfless good and shun selfish evil. Self-sacrifice, the blessed giving without taking - like the shining of a star – is at the very heart of the Naaru's teachings. Assuming these darklings to be genuine in their intentions, as I have often found they are, we can deduce that their motivations are Lightgiven, though their means of achieving these motivations obviously are not. I am not denying that some darklings that serve the Alliance military might be of a deceptive nature; but if we put our trust and faith in the Light, the Most Blessed Sight It bestows upon us will allow us to see clearly, and separate the genuine from the deceitful.
There is a tension, then, a mystery that boggles our mind. How can these souls, who so clearly carry Lightgiven sentiments in their hearts, reach for such corrupted and damning means? It seems contradictory – and in fact it is contradictory and highly irrational. It is an irrational course of action, inspired by an ignorance of the Light's loving benevolence. Though these misguided souls heed the Light's loving call to action, they regrettably rush further into damnation, rather than to climb the stairs of Light. In the terms of the Naaruvada, they hear the Naaru's song but do not recognize it as such. The Sacred Wheel of Deed and Thought has begun to spin: it is seemingly arrested, however, by the false presumption made by a corrupted mind that the means of Fel are the best way to achieve these Lightgiven goals.
How can we enlighten our wayward brothers and sisters, and guide them on a more promising path? Certainly not by denying them the opportunity to aid the Grand Alliance, to smite the wicked and defend the innocent. In order to better understand the Light's loving whispers, one has to perform Lightloved deeds: and in order to know what deeds are Lightloved, one must understand the Light's loving whispers. There can be no doubt, brothers and sisters, that a soul who does good will grow closer to the Light, and that from a soul who does evil the Light will slowly withdraw. For every innocent defended and evil smitten, the Inner Light in the darkling's heart will strengthen.
This is the truth, brothers and sisters: even when their hearts are corrupted and tainted by the damning touch of Fel, the Light will grow in strength when the soul does good. Stronger and stronger the Light shall grow, until It rejects the evil and casts out the corruptions that taint it. Or, in layman's terms: a good person will not embrace evil means – and a person becomes good by doing good and becomes bad by doing bad.
When we cast out the darklings, the opposite will occur. They will fester in the darkness and be drawn to other darklings, banding together in unholy unions to plot the downfall of the Lightloved and righteous. Their 'heroic' help rejected, they will form false beliefs about the supposed wickedness of the Light's chosen and will be chased further and further into the embrace of the Legion. Or, in layman's terms: warlocks rejected from the military will join cults and wage war on the Alliance.
I believe the Human Church of Holy Light knows the virtues of Compassion – the Naaruvada school preaches a similar virtue, that of Patience. Strange and unknown to us are the Light's ways – the elected High King of the Alliance, whose young son has been granted powers that far exceed those of many adult draenei and humans who have spend a life under the Light, condones these vile magicks within His chosen army. The Holy Prophet of the Draenei, Velen the Divine, has also been known to condone darklings within the Exodar. Try as we might, we cannot comprehend that which is far beyond our feeble mortal understanding. Only trough hubris might the Faithful go against the judgement of their elders in the Light. We must accept the judgement of our superiors unconditionally.
We may take an example in the Most Blessed Naaru A'dal and Its Sha'tar – though the crimes of the Scryers were unfathomable and the damning touch of Fel had stained them to their very souls, Its Blessedness A'dal. Light of Draenor, welcomed these darklings in the Light's chosen city. The Aldor priesthood, most enraged by this decision, could only tolerate this seemingly unfathomable injustice.. The Faithful know, however, that the Naaru, as creatures of pure Light and love, are ignorant to evil and cannot commit sin – and lo, the Scryers have ultimately proven themselves as reliable servants of the Light in our united offensive against Kil'jaeden the Deciever – without the mercy A'dal so incomprehensibly gave them, they would not have stood with the Aldor against the Legion, and the world of Azeroth would now have been burning. Do not doubt the wisdom of the Light's chosen, my brothers and sisters!
Another example is the sacrifice of M'uru the martyr, who willingly allowed Itself to be taken by the Elves of Silvermoon to be drained of Its Blessed Essence. M'uru suffered the damning touch of Fel, being drained of His Light and warped into a hollow, void-filled shell of his former self, used as pawn of the Legion. Only, when the Shattered Sun Offensive liberated Him by shattering Its physical coil, did they find the original spark of Inner Light - untouched and as pure as It had been at the dawn of creation – and was the truth layed upon them: that no amount of evil or sin can ultimately banish the Light from our hearts. Even the most revolting and vile darklings might be saved from the damning touch of sin – not by ostracizing and excommunicating them, but by showing compassion for their confused plight, and suffering their sins with blessed patience.
In conclusion, I implore you to reconsider banning darklings from enlisting in the Alliance army. Not only will this vindicate the suspicion that the darklings have of the Faithful that they are unforgiving and unsympathetic to their plight, but it will also cast these sinners into more sin. These darklings need our loving guidance, not our harsh an cold condemnation. They will practise their dark arts regardless of how we condemn them: and if they are to channel Fel, let them do it on the battle-field, away from innocent citizens and under the supervision of the Light's ever-vigilant vindicators and paladins.
I do agree, however, that the people need to be properly educated, and that any talk of the redeeming qualities of the damning touch of sin must be silenced at once. This is, however, is not achieved by ostracizing and shunning the darklings, but rather by leading by example: we must be extra vigilant to act morally superior and act as the guiding beacons of Light that the Church has tasked us to be. Press the darklings gainst our bosom, and show them the splendid magnificence of the Light by overwhelming them with our mercy and compassion. They will be easier converted to the Light on the battlefield, where the darkness is made visible and the Light more visible still, than scheming and plotting in dark robes in some Light-forgotten graveyard in Duskwood, in shadowy crevices where even the Light's redeeming ray cannot reach.
I pray that your will be granted wisdom in your discussion by the Light, and clarity in your judgements.
May the Light embrace you all,
-Vindicator Huruma, 157th “Wild Tempest” Company.
May good befall all,
May there be peace for all
May all be fit for perfection,
May all experience that which is auspicious.
By the Naaru, may it be so.
