[A] The Draenei Weeks, June 3-17

With more draeneis joining our ranks we thought to have some focus on them and at the same time provide some draenei RP for those interested, we will be located in Exodar and the lands around for two weeks, everyone who is willing to join are welcome but even more so all draeneis.

I have already spoken to some regarding this but everyone who is willing to arrange something or in other ways do draenei related activities during these weeks are welcome to contact me here or in-game.

In order to get a nice start I put this up after Thelos pilgrimage, for more information upon that see: The Battle of Shattrath Memorial Pilgrimage

The idea is to combine set events during these weeks with random RP.

At the moment the schedule looks as following:

Monday 3rd June:
The First Gathering, 20:00 Exodar
A draenei only gathering to speak about current issues, share news and thoughts.

Wednesday 5th June:
Naaru prayers, 20:00 Exodar
Everyone is welcome to attend these prayers

Friday 7th June:
The Furbolgo, 21:00 Exodar
Follywood presents the Furbolgo play in Exodar!

Monday 10th June:
Blood Watch Market, 19:00 Blood Watch
A market filled with more exotic goods than your average market, food and drinks will be served and entertainment will be provided

Friday 14th June:
A guided tour, 21:00 Exodar
A tour for those not familair with Exodar and who wants to learn more of the draenei

Monday 17th June:
The Second Gathering, 20:00 Exodar
An open gathering for those interested and involved with the draenei, after that a ceremony will take place

Depending on how many others wants to help and arrange stuff the schedule above may change.

Bank holiday monday booked off as is God's Will.If my toons are alive I shall be there

Wild Tempest will tactically move their military focus to Kalimdor the 3rd day of June, with very few events scheduled from our own side while we go through diplomatic negotiations with our Kal'dorei allies.

Between the lines: I am moving our entire guild to Kalimdor to partake and contribute to these events

Will do my best to get a "Meeting of Arcane Minds" off the ground, in the context of the Exodar. If there is anyone out there playing a "crystal engineer" or however you want to call an expert on Draenei Magical tech, please notify me, so my characters can contact your character about it.

Know your characters' strengths, Monrena. Lengthy magi-technical explanations are not one of them.

Well. She can talk about the engendering side of things. The magical side yes. She would not know. After all. She was only a maintenance girl of the coolent system for the warp pistols. (one of which broke off exodar) do remember her explination on the nature of her exodar injuries. :-)

The relationship the draenei have with naaru tech is a continous source of debate, of which there are multiple valid interpetations.

My characters and I have always treated the Exodar and the Tempest Keep like flying churches build by angels. We don't know how they work and it's hubris to try to. The Divine works in mysterious ways.

Though, would it not be a lot of fun to tell a gathering of inquisitive mages that in-character?

Everything can be understood by an inquisitive mind! If it is a hubris to do that, then hubris it is!

Thow this is true. Exodar and her sister ships are holy relics. They are also large mechanical devises. The draenie are an old ainciant race who were at the peak of there magical and technological prowess. It is not much far off to think that the draenie could learn how naaru Tec works. After all. The perant (naaru) would not give a 5 year old(young race) a craft knife glue and a model kit(exodar) unless they were old enough to learn how to use it even if with supervision, therefore I have always played it that the draenie could learn how the exodar complex,s work, otherwise how could they ever fix and repair exodar so it can fly again? And to add. Exodar and her sister ships have been in draenie hands on and off for merely 20000 years. It's more than feasabl that they could have learnt how it works. Even if it was magically and divinely made.
Also look at netherstorm with all them what I can only describe as arcane pumps. That tells me that someone had tried to reverse engineering how it works.

I think it will be very interesting to take this discussion in-character.

And ppl lol'd when I said Space marines and Draenie had nothing in common

I'm sure members of Natures Grasp will be there due to where this will be held

Except Raene. Who will be there with her signpost, chanting;

*recently made a Draenei shaman. Pokes head in whilst hunting through all alts banks for the looms I'm sure I have* Well... this looks like a good way to get intro'd and partake in some Draenei RP...

I shall endeavour to attempt to be there

Follywood players will try to begin their Alliance-tour from Exodar for this. When we will rerun(per request) our Furbolggo play is still bit under depate.

Also, we would need members, who would be ready to act Snake, Furbolg or Narrator. Script is ready, so one needs only a costume, say and emote. PM me if intrested in the said roles.

EDIT: Follywood players will appear again. Just missing the snake now. Hurry up and sign.

All roles haw now actors and we defenetly will appear. Exact date is still under consideration. More info later.
