Yuan'do and the band of the brave are adventurers, Yuan'do was elected by other role-players to play the role of a military commander. Adventurers aid the military all the time, and usually perform high-ranking or highly specialized roles when they do.

I went there mainly because my guild im part of has gone too.. you and vardrek showed up late at night , if your going to complain about how serious we are so not taking whats happening then perhaps kicking abut footballs to us when were rp'ing.. spamming heals an using that zeplin toy was a bad idea.. comming here to complain at us not taking it seriously when you yourself did is very hypocritical.

As far as I'm aware, we were doing things in our own corner without disrupting your RP. We simply responded with footballs for a second or so when you made emotes in our direction.

No harm done, move on. (If anything, we added to the atmosphere with the TRP stuff.)

As for Trolls. No, Vardrek's a Dwarf. Mineral's a Gnome. I didn't know your eyesight had got that bad.

I'm free to RP when I feel like it, not when you expect me to.

any excuse.. any rp'er knows and as you so put.. rp in such a dangeourous area is risky..yet you pop allong to hurl footballs and spam heals it was a minour low level attempt to break immersion, we can clearly see bombs flying everywhere.. and you fine well know what I meant by being a troll.

if there is one thing I hate more than hordies raining down on my rp to kill me.. its fellow rp'ers deliberatly disrupting rp with "toys", it just goes to show how little respect you show for anyone else, even if your disruption was minour.. a disruption is still a disruption as I had to pop an emote to stop the football going my way

They didn't pick an event though, it was already said it was late at night when I assume shit had broken up.

And quite frankly? im not throwing any toys anywhere and I not once labeled dol as a troll guild I know still of several still existing members that dont troll, I am speaking of the actions of two individuals from what I witnessed... Nothing more, copper came here raging about our poor rp so I reacted in kind.. if anything copper was to blame for bringing this up.. so go whine to him about it

You got to admit it was kind of funny charging trough the Iron Horde lines at the start to the camp then gathering up all in once place only to be blown away by the "bombs" on screen in plain open ground.

Or the shields lining up and then walking thowards the big group only to get blown away as well.

Fun times.

There was no event, nor any paper zeppelins, the zeppelin that -was- used, was when I put down a goblin gumbo by the injured NPCs and used the zeppelin to make Mineral look like she was working on it.

At most we "disrupted" Monrena by the whimscial footballs that can be ignored. (As we only threw one each)
If you call that stooping low, then fair enough, you're free to make your own judgement. It was at 4-5 in the morning with nobody around. Not like anyone's gonna expect any hardcore RP or anything, during that hour.

(Oh, and some stalker apparently now has "all the evidence s/he needs" against me. Despite clearly having misunderstood me completely. Quite interesting.)

We do Roleplay, just not with you.

Alot of the stuff here is grossly exaggerated.

For example their was a piece of NPC dialogue that copper reacted to with /cower as a joke and I reacted with a /panic (we were obviously not IC and just watching Zelium verbally rip people new holes that can be found upon ones posterior as we were sitting on the top of boxes and not IC'ly reacting to anyone) This was met by Monrena jumping on an opportunity to be his usual passive-aggressive/aggressive self, or perhaps he just missed the obvious fact we weren't IC at all, eitherway he got a ball in the face and that was that until, lo and behold he came out with more of his usual aggressive attitude.

As for the spamming of heals, yes I know I abuse holy prism, yes I like the pretty colour it gives off, yes I am attending Holy Prisms Anonymous and yes I am on their 12 step plan to kicking Paladin talents abuse, but I don't remember spamming it that night.

A large majority of what was done was watching Zelium roleplay,engaging in NPC dialogue of legitimate things that would be happening on a battlefield(how terrible of us) and saying nothing at all, whilst we sat on our boxes.

Being serious has went out the window:

Infact this "trolling*" was pretty small if you could call a ball and one zeppelin+crashin thrashing flying machine such, is hardly immersion breaking (though at first we must ask what do we mean by immersion, do we mean immersed in playing a game and realising it is a game and as such anything that does happen in it becomes largely inconsequential, or are we talking about wallowing in various liquids? I for one being a dwarf like to immerse myself in booze and my own urine whilst being in a drunken stupor)

If tomorrow the main problematic people from all sides were kicked from their guilds, I'm willing to take bets on which ones will just go off the deep end and become full time lollers/griefers, which ones will likely leave the game, and which ones will just move on and try to find RP.

I'm not going to say names, because that would just be bitchy. That being said, if you're thinking "he probably places me in the lollers/griefers category", a guilty conscience will do that. If all that is keeping some of you grounded as RPers and relatively productive members of this community is your guild tag and not your skills as a Human being, then take a re-evaluation of your life and quit being an asshole.

Actually, I think you'll find the definition of that is "active aggression" my dear sir, but carry on, always good to see your mature take on things.

Honestly, if you're not going to address the ridiculous notion of Vard and Copper being evil by playing the game and having fun (Shock, horror!) then there's little point posting.
And yeah, that is what this whole bullshit of "oh my god they kicked a football at me in a game" is. It's ridiculous. It's a game. It will not break your immersion to have a ball kicked at you. When you play Skyrim, or Amnesia, or any other title like that, do you find your immersion being broken when someone sends you a message in the steam chat? Do you find your enjoyment ruined? If so, then you're seriously being ridiculous - it's a game, and immersion isn't forgetting it's a game, immersion is being deeply absorbed into the game to the extent that time passes without you realizing, you get scared or excited due to the gameplay. Having a ball kicked at you will in most cases not break that immersion. If you say it affects your RP, then, well, honestly I have no idea what to say. How do you view a half second (if that) animation and sound of a ball being kicked ruining your RP? It might distract you sure, just as an npc running through you might, but having seen nearly every single person who is complaining about this here walking through NPCs without a care in the world, then I'm going to question how a ball being kicked at you affects your RP experience so much more.

You all (by which I mean the general populace of the server) convinced me to switch from MRP to TRP2 when I joined. After several months of enduring "Currently" sections the size of novels and a whole load of information I have absolutely no interest in ever seeing, I switched back to MRP.
