Time to cease my silence. I've been feeling down due to various reasons lately so I've been avoiding responding until I felt better.

Before I head into answering stuff individually. I'll re-state what Beladon did. This actually has very little to do with DoL, it's just that the people involved have chosen to make DoL the "target", while it's infact My RBG group. My RBG group has DoL members in it. Hell, I'm in DoL. But the RBGs are not affiliated with DoL, and I've made this very clear to the RBG group. The group is mine alone, and that means that nobody gets any benefits above anyone else, no matter who they are or what guild they belong to.

It just happens that most of DoL's core members enjoy the RBGs and therefor are present a lot.

This is inaccurate. We do throw ourselves at RPers, yes. But we very rarely stay for a second coming. We appear, we mostly just try survive for as long as we can and then leave.

Lowbies are not a priority and never will be. If lowbies happens to die, it's due to AoE and not specific targeting. We're just there for simple fun.
Are we dicks for attacking RPers during a RP event? Perhaps. But this used to be commonplace in the past. People should be more thick skinned than to cry over a small attack composed of a group of 5 or less.
We never go in to win, and we never do win.

No, we don't. We've never actively attacked people who we have known to be AFK, and frankly it's pathetic that you try push a single kill by Siegmund on Adry on our team when Siegmund's not even in it and has nothing to do with this.

Our attacks, when we do attack- is mainly on cities, timeless, or larger RP groups.

But hey, I'm sure you two have firm evidence of us repeatedly attacking Horde RP events to only kill lowbies, and when we crash down on a bunch of AFKers.

So, I believe it's overdue that I cover the origin of where this came from. I also need to cover why I brought it up in the first place.

To minimize the finger-pointing tho, I'll focus on what's really worth pointing out here:

This whole thing started, when one day after our RBGs I decided that "Hey, let's find the Red Blades!".

So we did. We found dropped down on Rargnasha and made him our bitch, then we left.

To which, Rargnasha responded by making a post in DoL's registry here on DefiasRP. Linking the video "We didn't start the fire". A obvious declaration of war. As a guild we took the bait, and the day after we mounted up and decided to pay OoRB a visit. Finding them in Mulgore, we landed and ran up. Killing the only guy that wasn't blueshielded- as we were expecting them to fight back. They didn't. They just sat there. So we patiently tried to wait them out, they outnumbered us at least 2-1.
Only to have them complain to us OOCly. Giving us shit for that VM had been there earlier to camp them.

Meh, whatever. We left after having Rargnasha being a cowardly wuss who can't reap what he sows.
This however started a bit of a problem. Apparently rumors started cropping up that we were "ABOC 2.0", Wut?

Killing Rargnasha once and that shaman that was PVP toggled once is hardly ABOC tier, but whatever I suppose. Stupidity is stupidity. (Note, going forward. The only time we outnumbered them was when we attacked Rargnasha who was only with two taurens.
Equally, it may seem like I'm complaining. But I'm just trying to tell it like it was.)

Later on at some point, Terenus and (I think?) Vardrek decided to attack OoRB again. Only to be met with the OoRB actively starting to corpsecamp them. Odd choice of action, given their own policies, but whatever. eventually it ended in a friendly bout between Terenus vs another warrior of OoRB while me and two of the OoRB was spectating for fun, then we left on friendly terms. I think both guilds came out from that little bout positively. (This is the last time we fought them as a guild. We had already been told off by Beladon about attacking OoRB as all that happened was that Beladon had Rargnasha bitch at him)

It took about a week before we fought them again, this time there were far more people around. I think we were around 7, and this time OoRB had far more people. (I think we counted around 47?)
I think we were outnubmered 4-1 if not more. While we didn't choose to actively leave the area at first. We were actively attacked by them several times, not the other way around.
We didn't complain about any of this, as we were the ones who initially attacked first so whatever. We chose to retreat when we realized they just wouldn't leave us alone.

My memory's a bit flaky on dates and times, but as far as I recall the ones worth noting:
(Me, Jiangnu, and Vardrek) Walking into Swamp of Sorrows. All three being healers, we barely did any damage to anyone at all. But we did survive for quite a while. Once we died, we left.

and last but not least, we attacked Twilight Highlands once (twice if we count the time I phased in my prot warrior alone just for shits and giggles), where we got swiftly killed and then left.

After this, Xavalis had removed us from their friendlists. When Vardrek spoke to Uriel about it, he claimed we were apparently a "RP ganking guild."
(He also didn't like that we attacked Silverlol)

A very simplified story of has happened. As anyone can probably tell, this hardly calls for raised arms and screaming. But that's not the point here either. Why I created the initial post was to get a response. To see reactions to this. I wanted to see if people involved would speak up.
They didn't.

But if it's something I've learned from all of this, it's that certain people have the skin thickness of wet sand paper.
Call me an ass as much as you want, but I believe that handing DoL a label of gankers is not only misleading but also wrong.

If anything, I would state that the "guild" (ie, those of us in the RBG that actually partake in this stuff) would be "gankees", as we actively pick a fight against numbers far above our owns just for the fun of it. The few times we've actually showed up we've always been outnumbered so the chance of actually killing anyone is often slim to none.

With all that said and done, I do hope there's more like Nare- that actually enjoy that we show up for a very brief bout. We only take up about 2-5 minutes of peoples time. Hardly much to cry over now is it?

I'm not sure how to end this post. but I suppose, "good day"?

Although we'll have to see how often there'll be after-parties in the coming weeks as the season ends next week. I'll try stay relevant in the WPVP scene tho. It's fun.

About SIlverlol,not a problem as long as you attack the city but mate....last time you brought some ppl in there you litterally pointed at the inn asap you stepped into the city.....theres ppl in there and you know^^ the few fights outside were fun to us at least.

It is also weird to try separate a member of DoL from another , depending on what he does, to be honest...when you carry the tag of a guild...you represent it everytime,if you gank is a member of DoL ganking...who the fk cares if its one of your Rbg team members or not ,you cant just blame people cause they read your guild tag dude.

I dont really mind too much,the things Vardek told me were decent enough,it just bores me to hell that you have to make a thread cause you heard "voices"and you feel pointed at,there is no Anti-DoL secret council...I spent like 5 mins of my time thinking at your bunch doings...

It's pretty clear from the post that you seem to blame the Band of the Brave a lot for spreading the rumor - if this isn't the case and I'm mistaken, then fair enough, but if it is, it's pretty hypocritical, seeing as I know that the amount of trash talk MY guild has done about YOUR guild doesn't even beat the amount of trash talk that your guild has done about ME specifically.

I find it a little disappointing, though, that you can't even stand by your own (or your group's or guildies') actions, that you feel you have to lie to limit the scope of the things you've done. That "one single time in Duskwood" that you claim is the full scope of my accusation isn't anywhere near it. I must have more alts than you guys have been able to stalk out of me if you honestly aren't aware of it yourself. Regardless, there's no point arguing it, as I don't generally make it a priority to screenshot every time I'm killed (I find the arms race of gathering evidence just to use in future arguments to be tiring) so all I have is my word, and all you have is yours, and I doubt you're going to man up and stand by the facts of the matter (also, the majority of the time, it's just Siegmund stalking me around alone, so I guess you aren't necessarily even aware of it. Next time you're stealthing around my RP, Sieg, I invite you to actually attack while I'm at the keyboard. I can handle a fight even if I'm busy kissing pandas   )

Uriel, I believe you misunderstand. It's not strange that people goes to "blame" DoL, although admittedly I'm surprised anyone would even go as far consider us a "ganking" guild.
The reason I wrote this was to get a reaction, it wasn't to complain. I wanted to get a understanding of why we'd be classified as such, and hopefully dissipate any further "rumors" or whatever to rise. Mainly for the sake of the guild.

Equally, I don't feel depressed over it. I was just confused. (and why we went for the Inn immediately last sunday was because you specifically told us not to go to Silvermoon. had fun, some nice fights.)
As for Terenus bitching. If he does that, have a chat with Beladon about his behavior.

As I hope you're aware, I have no issue with Dominion. If anything, I find fighting you guys very enjoyable. Nothing like beating up old guildies eh?


Ixirar, I've already stated that Siegmund has little to no relation to the RBGs. Even more so, what Siegmund decides to do on his own time has absolutely no relevance. But if you want to believe I'm "lying", I suppose you're free to believe that as much as you want.

Your "having fun" included trying to repeatedly kill me with three rogues for over two hours. At the start, hey - it's just WPVP, whatever, there was another couple of guys around and you lot ended up dying usually when you attack so whatever, no bother. They left eventually though, and you decided to bring a boomie to start randomly attacking me (Though you lot would keep attacking me as well continually) and then eventually, he lures me away as I try to kill him because moonfire spam is annoying, aaand the three of you appear and obviously with rogue burst, kill me. Whatever, fair play to me for taking the bait. I go and ress.
Dead again, straight away, you were just stealthed at my corpse.

I log over, wondering what the fucks up with Dominion who are usually cool with somewhat fair, fun WPVP and ask you on my horde "Why are you doing 4 v 1 against me? This is hardly fair man, not exactly WPVP." if a bit more crude, though I never insulted you still.

I log back over, and decide to break rules and turn off PVP. You were still stealthed there, and proceeded to run by me repeatedly for the rest of the night whilst I was RPing.

No. You trying to gank me for nearly two hours straight then when I log over mainly with the intention of having a fair fight, you act like a complete ass and then try and make out as if we're in the wrong.
Dropping on people? We have -never- done that, despite some people from ORB's claims. We always approach from the ground to make things fair so it isn't just "HELLO BLADESTORM".

You obviously have a grudge against DOL, and when you did talk to Vardrek, it was made pretty clear that you had reports from horde and alliance of us ruining RP and started some grudge against us. The fact you targetted me, the only disciple online at the time for over 2 hours while I rped is evidence enough of that.
It's pathetic. It's what you expect of a child, in my honest opinion. But then to try and hide away the fact that you did this and make me out to just have raged at you? That's just dropping even further.

DOL doesn't do that, and if they did all you'd have to do is contact Beladon or Vardrek and they'd get on that case immediately and prevent it happening again. The lack of evidence for these however leads me to believe that it's all hot air. Especially when it's apparently been done "so much" without any past complaint that isn't pointed at Siegmund.
Who, by the way, may have an alt in DOL but also is the guild leader of the Freelancers, so it's kind of funny that you try and only criticize only one guild in which he has an alt, and hasn't killed anyone on said paladin in PVP outside of BGs.

It's time to stop accusing DOL of stuff that either isn't true, or is just hyperbole in the extreme. If you have actual issues - and I'm certain there may be a few of you out there who aren't just mindlessly ranting at us and would sincerely like to talk with us about these issues - then feel free to contact the officers of the guild because they will be happy to do so.
Because honestly, I'd rather just be able to enjoy RPPVP without the continuous drama that seems to follow DOL around from what is usually the same few individuals each time. And I'm sure the vast majority of other people would too.

The screenshots I took of our conversation say otherwise my friend, the only rage had was by you, who seemed quite bitter about Silvermoon and Undercity and came up with some quite astonishing claims about Disciples of Light, which I can only guess you got from certain individuals (I think we know who.).

As for Xavalis only idea I can come up with for him removing me from battle-tag is infact Silvermoon and Undercity

As well as this, most of these things we do are not done solely as DoL infact Senlei accompanies us Jiangnu, Lanabella/Lightrunner/Heir'tar and many others, doing all the same things we're doing, as such these rumours not only brand DoL but also many others who perhaps have been conveniently left out.

This also coincides with earlier rumours from again people who have commented in this thread that DoL are "Aboc 2.0" as well as another delightful rumour of RBG win-trading, a grudge is being had here and im afraid Uriel from your comments you're pushing yourself getting involved in something you shouldn't, you did not ask Beladon about any of this, whom is active enough for you to talk to about it and learn both sides of the story, if you were any friend to Beladon you'd at least give him some courtesy and respect to ask him what is going on.

DoL is an Rp-PvP guild (one of the last few still standing) that has been going on the server for quite some time, it has enjoyed Rp-PvP Alliances with many like minded guilds such as Dwarven Rifle Squad, Kingdom of Arathor/Stromgarde and many more who have been made and disbanded over the long years, DoL enjoys all aspects of the game OOC and IC such as Rp-PvP, World PvP, PvE, Arenas, RBG's  in general PvP, we treat this game exactly as it is a game and we don't take the mechanics of it seriously, this means we do not care if Aboc kill us 10,20,30 times nor do most of us care if we are camped, because we've seen it before from Vanilla,TBC and Wotlk we've seen it all. As such we will not be bullied nor intimidated by ANYONE to change how we choose to play this game.

However what we do care about is "fellow" Rp'ers who propagate slanderous rumours upon the server in the attempt to instigate something based on the actions of one person whom merely has a single alt in our guild (perfectly reasonable response I too often decide to nuke an ant hill and claim it's a country), their is a difference between making your dislike of someone clear and spreading rumours. I do not hold the opinion that it is perhaps a guild in it's entirety but I would say that it is select individuals who require their guild to take control of the fact they're attempting to instigate something through the use of rumours, I'd advise that guild to start dealing with these specific people and I'd advise the founder of the guild to put their foot down upon these select individuals, because in the end they do not only attempt to tarnish one guilds name but also end up tarnishing their own guilds name.

As well as this I would like to re-iterate that Beladon our Guild Master has offered to listen to anyone who feels they have grievances over our trips outside of Stormwind City, these situations shall be looked upon on an individual case and Beladon is not afraid to punish us if we are infact taking the piss with our actions, if you feel such grievance over it then feel free to contact him and explain your problems fully,clearly and in much detail, as for myself any DoL that go on these excursions I myself make sure that they do not spam,CC or extensively harass.

If you have issues, take it up with Beladon, that is the proper way of doing things, it's as simple as that.

I think this conversation has gotten out of hand. As far as I am concerned the opinions expressed are their own and not that of their respective guilds. I wont be commenting further on this topic, peace out.

Funny, since of all the raids stated in this thread. I've only been part of the two on ORB, of which one ended in us being ganked as we were outnumbered over 2:1 but that ended sorta well, the other us leaving because everyone was blue shielded.
You really need to learn what you're talking about. SMC and UC I wasn't involved in at all, but, go on. Please. Also while we're at it, go on about crying about numbers where I simply confronted you because dominion usually go for fair fights and wondered what was up with that. Guess what we're learning is that at least one member of Dominion (or the three others he brought along) doesn't. And yeah, middle of stormwind but you seem to get pissy whenever VM are around, so I guess either way you'd have found a way to complain. Here is the short version of my char - quit game for years - wanted to try mop mid expansion - noticed sister had 90 mage but never played - she gave me the mage (was named Alanaa for quite some time) - now a good year and a half later she started playing again - Moved the mage over to my old account, this is why I appear to have removed you, but reality is I simple never added you on my old account that I am now playing on.
